I was greeted and handed a menu. Everyone had smiles on their faces and was glad to see a new customer. All the equipment was clean along with the floors and tables. I tried the chile dog and let me tell you something - WOW. Very very very good. The meat was delicious and just the right amount of everything you could ask for in a well made hotdog. Today I tried the drive-thru. No one was taking orders at the speaker. After about five minutes I pulled up to the window and waited another five. Nobody came out or acknowledged me, so I left. I get why other Portillo's locations have lines around the block and this one doesn't. It feels mismanaged and like the staff just doesn't care. Shorter, review-site friendly version Two bad visits in a row at this Portillo's. 1. Ordered a chopped salad with grilled chicken, no blue cheese. Got blue cheese, no chicken.
