I've given Texas Roadhouse in Casa Grande multiple chances, and unfortunately this is now the third time my steak order has been wrong. All of these orders were to-go, so I didn't realize the issues until I got back to work and opened the food. The first issue was with a Fort Worth Ribeye. What I received was extremely thin and tough--nothing like a ribeye. It closely resembled a Roadkill steak, which is completely unacceptable given the price and what was ordered. Another visit, I ordered a fully loaded sweet potato and received a plain one instead--no marshmallows, no cinnamon, nothing. A smaller issue, but still a clear miss. The most serious and recurring problem is steak doneness. I consistently order medium-rare. On two separate occasions, I was given steaks that were rare, with a significant portion of the meat being purple and raw. This wasn't a matter of preference--it was unsafe and inedible. The most recent time was especially disappointing because it was purchased with a gift card, and the exact same issue happened again. At a steakhouse, properly cooking a medium-rare steak should be basic. After multiple mistakes across different visits, I can't justify giving this location another chance. Consistency and quality control are clearly lacking, especially for to-go orders. read more

One of our good go to's. Been going to many locations for many years. Went to this location a few months ago and although the service was fine the food was not. Steaks were bland and the shrimp were very salty. We are not comfortable with sending food back, I know what goes on in kitchens, so they had a bad day. Went again this week. We ordered a shrimp appetizer , never received it. I ordered steak medium, came out raw, I sent it back, came back again raw. My husband is now done eating. I said to box the steak up I will take it home and cook it my self. Manager took $11 off the bill but they also charged us for the shrimp we never got. As a apology they gave us a coupon for a free specific appitizer (not anything we would eat of course) and the coupon is expired. Guess we are done with Texas Roadhouse. November 2nd is my birthday, and my family took here for my birthday. The service was amazing, very friendly, professional, and courteous. I realize that it was Father's Day and that it was super busy. We called two hours ahead of time we were seated right away. It took a long time for our food to come out and when it did, it was dried out like it had been sitting under lamps for quite a while the fries were so salty that they were not edible. They did offer to replace it, but we had already waited almost an hour for our food to come out so there was no way we were gonna wait for them to replace it. We went there last week. I ordered the full rack of ribs. When they brought it out it was only a hakd rack (5 bones) so they brought out another half rack (4 bones) so that was a toral of 9 bones. We've never been to this location, but since we were in Casa Grande for a basketball tournament, we decided to give it a go. We had a party of 5, all ordered steaks and I ordered the prime rib. My husband's steak came out well done, even though he ordered medium rare. My son's order didn't even get put in. So three of us sat and ate while two didn't get their meal until we had finished. They ended up boxing up their meals to go because everyone had already eaten. Very disappointing! The manager came over and "apologized", very annoyed. Needless to say we won't be back. My family stopped in here for my son's 23rd birthday, we had such a wonderful time! This was our first time at this particular location, we just moved to Arizona City and I was excited there was a Texas Roadhouse so close to us. The service was absolutely top notch, the manager even stopped by to make sure we were happy, she wished my son a happy birthday. We all ordered our favorite steaks and sides, and we were VERY happy with the results. Every bite meleted in our mouths. We love the ambiance here, it is so much fun! I would not recommend this restaurant for a first date. Some people make insulting accusations. My son went and was accused of doing inappropriate things for having his hands under the table. Manager Jessica asked him to put his hands on the table because of a complaint from another guest. This situation was wrongfully handled!! Manager Jessica humiliated my son. My son remained polite and respectful, he even still paid for his meal even though the manager Jessica falsely accused him of being inappropriately touching himself during a dinner date. This was my first time to this new location which just opened up a few weeks ago and they are off to a rootin tootin good time. Great waitresses who look like they actually love their jobs, as opposed to some of the other Texas Roadhouses where the staff wear the shirts that say they love their jobs but their expressions reflect anything but joy. My friend is handicap on a walker so I asked serenity for a table close by and she insisted that we go around the corner to set and wait. when I explained that my friend only needs to sit down one time, couldn't we sit in the one of the 20 empty tables she got loud and obnoxious and informed me there were no servers. They even handled the unpleasant finding of hair in loaded mashed potatoes with grace and did not charge for that meal. The score is mainly for food. The rolls were hot, tasty and plentiful. Minus the mashed potatoes, sister in law enjoyed her meal immensely. Hubby got the grilled chicken and found it almost inedible with how salty it was. I asked for a bacon cheeseburger medium rare. When I cut it, it was brown. Not medium rare. I did not send back because it was really busy and I did not want to wait another 30+ minutes to get another burger. Ordered potato skin appetizer, very good. Split 4 piece Catfish dinner, excellent texture and taste, along w 2 sides, we chose salads. Excellent service, well staffed. Didn't particularly like my $6.50 beer served in a cracked glass but it was replaced quickly. Think I'll stick to the Tucson location as prices are lower (my last visit) but overall a very good meal. Using their app, we had secured our place in their waitline before arriving & were pleasantly surprised to see they were offering ample-sized bags of peanuts to munch on in the waiting area! That certainly contributed to making the wait time less irritating & I ended up with nearly two meals worth of food to take home! The wait staff here are a good part of what makes the dining experience so pleasant! Unfortunately, whomever cooks their sweet potatoes could use a lesson on baking without blackening them, but when I mentioned my disappointment to our waitress, she took one look at my charred potato & immediately offered to replace it with a new one, even though by then I told her it would need to go home with me because I was too full! When I got home and unwrapped that potato, it was even carmelized & slightly black on the bottom, but much more edible than the first one I received. Regardless, the green beans & "cactus blossom," fried onion appetizer were wonderful, as usual & I even tried their grilled salmon, for a change & was pleased with that! My dining partner had the grilled shrimp & said she'd definitely order that again, as they were juicy & not overcooked (definitely not cooked by the same person who neglected the sweet potatoes today). Oh my! Chaotic is a good word to describe this Texas Roadhouse. Now we love, love, love this chain. Well, mostly we have loved the Texas Roadhouse places. This was not the case here. We realize this one is new so you expect a few bugs. We had lots of bugs. To be fair the salads are excellent, steaks cooked perfectly and potatoes hot and just right. However, there's a lot more to a meal than that. To begin with this night there were so many employees hanging around you couldn't get to the restroom without being blocked or walk to or from your table without being cut off. Then, they were also hanging over the sides of the walls next to the tables with dishpans or just cutting up. The noise was extreme. If you are coming here with friends for a nice meal with conversation, forget it. You could hardly talk to the server so when part of our meal order was all messed up, we figured we knew she couldn't hear us. Food was wrong. One person got her meal as the others were loading theirs in to go boxes. Steaks were overly salted. Potatoes were ordered loaded but only charged for the loaded and not delivered. Getting refills on drinks either didn't happen or took a while. Then, at the end the server showed up again as we were leaving to collect our tabs and stood at the table wanting them handed to her then! Very, very disappointed in this Texas Roadhouse. Hopefully, it will improve. IF we go back and right now that's a big IF, maybe it'll be better and I can give a better review. read more
