It has been a while since I have gone to get a teeth cleaning. Naturally I was slightly embarrassed because of how long I have waited, but Zora, my dental hygienist, was so kind and made me feel extremely comfortable during the entire cleaning. Zora was very thorough, but also so gentle. I'm sure there was a lot of plaque build up she had to work on but nothing ever felt painful or uncomfortable. Definitely the best hygienist I've ever had clean my teeth! If you have any fears or reservations about going to the dentist, be comforted in knowing if you choose this dental group you'll have nothing to fear at all!! Overall every staff member, including Dr Reyes, are some of the kindest people I have ever met or interacted with. read more

Dr. Reyes, I'm not the first patient and won't be the last to get behind on a payment but I eventually paid my $300 balance of several thousand IN FULL. You and I both know that. I have the receipt and will post it. Julie's hard core collection tactics did not offend me at all. It's a part of the territory in a paper pusher position. I would have no reason to lie about her degrading me and your insistent denial even now, shows that my a concerns were not important. Julie took an examination of my mouth at the front desk and she is not even a certified dentist. The article was true, I'm happy to post that too, but your willingness to minimize the black experience for me in your office or to acknowledge the historical accuracy of what I sent you is what is appalling. I believe you described it as "ridiculous". I wanted it to be a teachable moment in the event that your staff engaged in that racially insensitive behavior not knowing the relevance in black history. For the record, thinking about the experience and insults from Julie made it difficult for me to rehash this whole ordeal but I knew that my silence would further embolden her so I mustered up the courage to share how I was treated. As stated in my post, you started out doing wonderful work until Julie with her underhanded motives got in the way. Trust me, it's not an attack on character but you and I both know that she has contributed to the high turn over of staff in your office as she is not professional with regards to doctor's, assistants NOR patients. She is vindictive and Mrs. Reyes probably will NEVER see the side of Julie that everyone else sees. With friends like that, who needs enemies? My friend referred me, because you're skilled, no question. That has nothing to do with Julie and her vindictive nature. And yes, you were nice until you didn't want to accept my complaint about the way your "work wife" treated me. This response was the first time that you ever acknowledged receiving my complaint of racial discrimination and you had the audacity to deem it absurd! When I asked for the whitening, there was no balance and I told them I would pay cash that day. At the end of the day, it's not professional to cement one tooth and leave the other semi-permanent. My tooth jiggles all because your office goddess decided so. For the record "jiggles" and "dangles" are 2 totally different things. It's not dangling, it's jiggling. Are you positive that Dr. Wong refused to further treat me? Your willingness to lie and cover things up amazes me! Please consider this a request for my complete dental record and payment history. I'm appalled that you have even suggested that I still have a balance with you and Dr. Wong!! I will have my insurance company audit the work and records and if there's a balance since my paid in full receipt, I'm honorable and will satisfy it. I want to compare yours against mine, as I have them all. I will post the email and attachment that ticked you and Julie off. It was a genuine concern, you watched me cry tears after the encounter and acted as if nothing was going on. At the end of the day, falsifying records is unethical and so is the reason you wtote in your termination letter. I will post that too. You do amazing work, I was disappointed that you allowed your favorite girl to stop the plan we'd originally agreed on but this is not retaliation. Julie has bullied so many people and you guys are just used to people not saying anything and looking for work elsewhere. That's not my M.O. I expose the truth so hopefully you guys understand it's unacceptable. She's been steam rolling people for years and this time I just pulled her hold card. No hard feelings, no exaggeration, just FACTS. I don't know about Yelp but you may have breached my confidentiality or HIPAA protections by discussing my financials, which is why you should never respond in anger. Julie's racially discriminatory ways we're evident way before now, I just swallowed the abuse because I wanted my gap closed. Good thing I didn't tick you off before the crowns were delivered, I'd be looking like a jack-o'-lantern right now!!! You stop mid-job if you're rubbed the wrong way. You have fought so hard to protect Julie that you're blind and have never once spoken to me about my concerns. I had a surgery scheduled 10 days in advance for the 16th they send me a text message the DAY OF (9am) trying to change my appt from 2:40pm to 11:40am which I didn't approve. the receptionist says the doctor wants to leave early so they move up my appointment WITHOUT MY APPROVAL or CONSENT, they expected me to come in 3hrs early on a 2hour notice. Zora, the dental hygienist, always does an excellent job. Thank you so much zora!! I have short roots of my teeth, so if I do something like eat hard foods, or if a dental hygienist is rough with my teeth, my teeth may feel a little loose. Therefore, every time I come in, I'm anxious about getting my teeth cleaned, for that reason. Whenever I come in, Zora is completely understanding about my anxieties, comfort me, and does an excellent job at cleaning my teeth really gently, to where they still feel normal afterwards, and while also gettting the job done of cleaning. Thank you again zora!! And if you're reading this, sorry for the late review, life gets crazy sometimes, ya know...? In addition, X-ray tech Melissa did an excellent job too. There is a hard plate that I had to bite down on, in order to get the X-ray done, and she warned me beforehand that It was hard, which prevented me of biting down on something hard, and potentially making my teeth feel loose.
