I have been terrified of the dentist for years. I would do almost anything to avoid going to the dentist. The cold metal in my mouth, syringes and stangers putting their hands in my mouth just wasn't how I wanted to spend my day. Everyone at this office was spectacular. I was very nervous coming in today, and honestly expected the worst. I hadn't been to a dentist in a while, because I've generally had awful experiences. The front desk staff was very friendly. I was taken aback at the fact that they introduced themselves to me. I went to sit down, and the chair was so comfortable. Then then front desk attendant (I forgot your name, I'm sorry!) brought me the iPad to fill out my documents. Easy process! The guy that took my x rays was really kind. My hygienist was very understanding, and I was very at ease around her. She wasn't judgmental, or scornful. She was honestly the best hygienist I've ever had. Her name escapes me now, but I think it was Melissa? I wish I hadn't forgotten, because she was amazing. The doctor was friendly, and he explained things well. Honestly, the whole experience was incredibly good. I felt like I was at a luxury dentist office. I've never had an experience like this, and recommend it to everyone! To the staff... The staff was cordial and professional. Fast yet attentive service of x rays, exam, and consultation. Dr Reyes was thorough when explaining the process and procedures that will be done for my next appointment. I have 3 cavities where one will need nubbing and o hate shots but I feel good and comfortable so far with Dr Reyes and his staff. I normally hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Reyes and his staff made this the best experience I have ever had at the dentist. Julie the office manager and the other girls in front (Lisa Marie, Lisa & Angelina) made sure any questions I had were answered and that I was in complete understanding of everything before any procedure was started. They even worked their magic to make sure my wife got an appointment at such short notice. I highly recommend Ralph Reyes Dentistry for being by far the best dentist I ever had. All of my dental visits have been practically pain free (even on major dental work) which completely eliminates the fear of going to the dentist. All of my dental work has been amazing and extremely comfortable. I mentioned to him today that I could almost take a nap while he works on my teeth. His staff is extremely polite and helpful and the office is very clean and high tech. Dr. Reyes office is beautiful I went to his office for a few years the staff was great the hygienist were gentle and very educating. However I witnessed something that I'm sure I wasn't supposed to. I over heard Dr. Ralph Reyes belittling and talking down to one of his assistants, she was clearly upset by his words and his tone. It was so disrespectful that the man I knew as my very friendly Dentist was talking this way, it immediately turned me off. I Have been going here for years & am also a resident of Azusa, my experience with staff has always been attentive, professional & a respectfully concerned staff that listens, as for Dr. Reyes, he has been informative, friendly & professional in his exams & informative of the results from cleanings to X-rays done. There use of texting & phone calls for confirmation of your appointment is helpful for reminding you of your appointment, day & time. The office is always clean, comfortable, the TV is only visible from 1 side of the room but your wait is not normally long. I do & will recommend Dr. Reyes. read more

I haven't been to the dentist since I moved to Azusa and chose here because it was close to were I live. I want to say this was the best choice I have made in awhile. The front desk is amazing and very helpful, I also like the text reminders leading up to the visit because I am always busy and forget a lot. The dentist that cleaned my teeth and took my x-rays was really great and made me feel comfortable through the whole process and the cleaning was awesome! Then Dr. Reyes came in and really took time to show me what was wrong and how to fix it. He was very kind and able to make the process very informative. I had an awesome experience going to Dr. Reyes' office for the first time yesterday. I went to get a second opinion on a tooth and also got a cleaning. I'm currently looking for a new dentist and wanted to "test" out this office. I received superior service! From the moment I walked in I was acklowledged. Everything was explained to me in regards to my treatment. My cleaning was pleasent. The staff was absolutely professional and Dr. Reyes was upfront about my treatment options and costs. Best Dentist you could ask for. The front desk greets you by name without having to sign in. They are on schedule to call you back at your appointment time. They have super friendly staff. Facility is beautiful and clean, with Tv's in the ceiling of every exam room. Doctor Reyes takes care of you, makes sure you are 100% comfortable before starting anything. My family and I are long time patients , my appointment was last week and truthfully still the best dental office in San Gabriel . Wait time about 8 minutes.. Dr Reyes is professional and has the best staff. We referred a neighbor and she bragged about how wonderful the office was. So if you need a dentist , this is the office for you. I would like to start by saying that I have an extreme phobia of dentists, you pretty much have to strap me into the chair and heavily sedate me, with that being said I have never had a more pleasant dental experience. Dr Reyes is an excellent dentist, he talks to you about every possible outcome, draws you pictures, and works quickly, but this review is mainly for his assistant Brittany. I've never liked the dentist, but i love coming here. The staff is very polite. I've been coming here for 3 years and never have waited more then a couple of minutes in the waiting room. I love the atmosphere, they were palying Jack Johnson when i was there, it really put me at ease. Their dental hygienist is very kind and always answers the tons of questions I have.
