This review is strictly for how I found the restroom.... Come here at your own rest people! If the manner in which this Ralph's keeps the men's restroom is indicative of their practices throughout the store, you'll want to avoid this place like the plague! This is my local Ralph's. I went in tonight and they're doing live construction on 30 to 40% of the store. All of the construction crew has protective earwear, I asked three of the employees and they said Ralphs won't provide them with any. Not a fan of shopping places that don't take care of their employees. read more

Extremely rude, inconsiderate, and bad-tempered cashiers. A customer at the head of the line had a price match request; the cashier took this to mean she was to leave her station and gossip with all the other cashiers on her way to speak with her manager. She took her time laughing and not taking her job seriously. Once it was my turn to pay, she purposely tossed all my groceries on the belt without a care. She did not own up to her taking up other people's time. She did not apologize. She did not even acknowledge me or ask for my ralphs card. The absolutely worst customer service I've seen at a grocery store ever. DO NOT shop at this store. Take your money somewhere you will actually by valued as a customer. read more

Hello, this is an extreme food safety issue that I witnessed at Ralphs on Thursday Aug 28th at 12:40pm. I was in the bakery area of the store waiting to get some chicken strips when I witnessed the bakery manager wanding an electric fly swatter over the fresh baked bread and donuts. He did this for about 3mins. The case was open and the electric fly swatter was no less than 6inches from the food. He saw me watching him and continued what he was doing. I assumed he was going to throw the food out but he did not. He pulled the trays to check the food for flys then put the trays back into the case. There were dead flies right next to the bread which he wiped on the floor with his bare hands. I approached the manager on duty and informed her of what happened, she went to speak with him, he was upset, but nothing happened. I then called the store when I got home to speak with the head manager Edgar Morales, I was told he wasn't in but the manager on duty assured me that they pulled the food (against the bakery manager's wishes) and let me know when Edgar Morales would be back. I went to the store the following morning (Fri. Aug. 29th) to speak with Mr. Morales at approx 7:45am. When he came to speak with me he seemed very disinterested, the manager from the day before had not informed him of what I witnessed, and he brushed me off and went back to stocking shelves. When I looked over into the bakery area, the SAME FOOD was there (in the same position) as the day before. Which means the food was NEVER pulled. This is absolutely disgusting and a health code violation. Personally, I'll never go back into that store and I will be contacting the health department read more

Normally not the Ralphs I shop, however needed something for tonight, New Year's Eve. So the search was on for watercress in a can. I looked to no avail, then Bill stepped in, he was busy but stopped to help me. The search was on. He was so genuinely nice and we went up n down numerous isles but couldn't find the little can. He didn't give up, spoke some words into his cell and was overheard by another employee, Rose, she said I know where they are! Thank you both. Bill is such a happy person and was extremely helpful. They didn't have chicken tenders last two times I've gone, the Honey bunches of oats chocolate cereal flavor is delightful! Will buy again.

Saying this Ralphs has poor management is too positive of a statement. Management is nonexistent here. I ordered a themed specialty cake for my son's birthday. When I got there for the scheduled pickup, I was told no one is working in the bakery today. Huh? I can't even put into words how I felt. It was a Saturday, so there were many others coming in to pick up cakes for parties. This Ralphs single handedly ruined birthdays and celebrations all over town. You can't tell a child he doesn't have a cake for their birthday. So there I was driving all over town looking for a cake that could be written on. I also called a few local bakeries; but to get a last minute cake on a Saturday was just stressing me out. Westchester Ralphs had no white cakes. I guess people had already run over there. Then it was on to El Segundo on Mariposa. They had 1 white cake. I was still disappointed, but relieved I got something. However, to our dismay, the cake turned out to be dry and tasted like it was on its last day before it would start molding. EMBARRASSING!!! Their review is coming next. I know somebody raised hell in there about not getting their order. They're lucky I'm not that type because they partly ruined my child's day. However the one worker there he shined that damn red beam scanner in my eyes TWICE, YES... and not Consecutively, I'm like stop doing that That shit could blind ppl seriously. please don't do that. Today I encountered the rudest employee. Not only was she on her phone not working, but she was also VERY rude and unprofessional. Management needs to do better. In self checkout I saw a screen that was on, apparently someone left their items to go back shopping. I asked the employee if the register was opened, her answer, "Can't you see the people's stuff is right there?!" With an attitude. It was obvious that I didn't see the items, I just saw an open space with an open self check out monitor. That is NO way of speaking to a customer. read more

If I could give zero star I would. Today saw the injustice that is happening in our community. From uncalibrated scales to the emotional embarrassment that comes with you defending yourself as these big store steals your money, With charge ups. Then insisting that it's your fault and no amount of time you take out of your day to shop and weigh out your food means nothing to them because somehow you are the culprit. Cocktana the worker was extremely insensitive and demeaning defending there uncalibrated scale they made no attempt to solve the problem only shaming me as to me not being able to pay for food. In which I was shining a light on the I calibrated scales The manager on hand didn't make it any better unprofessional as all of the staff here. Never again. The scale on the floor are not the same calibration as the one at the cashout line so they are changing double price and if I didn't saw the over change I would have paid for something I didn't get, being that I weighed out 1lb of apples and got charge for 2lb. I should be liable for what someone else did neither should your store. But it was the insensitive, rude response and the belittling that your works displayed today. This store is deplorable. The prices in the meat section are always wrong. They haven't had chicken wings in at least 4 months. And the stockers would rather play around and talk to each other rather than actually stock the shelves properly. Premium steaks are always advertised but they never have any and they keep old prices up. I just continue to support a store in black neighborhood that doesn't think we deserve better. I spent over $70 on two (2) bags of chitterlings which were supposed to be cleaned however, they were not!!! It appeared that they were only "washed" and they were not the best chitterlings I've seen. There are other local meat markets that have higher quality and "cleaned" chitterlings for less!!! This is by far the worst Ralphs in the area Rotisserie chicken I bought was still pink inside. Steak looked like tongue and quality was such crap it was trashed. They have 50% off chicken sales, but they just raise their price then put half off! ( is this even legal?) They don't have a cart return so you always have to dodge the carts to find a parking spot. Unfortunately this location is near my home I hate going here to shop for anything other than chips water or soda simply because the food is often spoiled black and rotten I have spoken with the management about this all they do is make excuses stating that the expiration date is still valid so there's nothing wrong with the meat I don't understand how meat can be black green and other colors other than red and management tells me that it is OK to sell. I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy the quality of service is terrible their customer service is terrible the management here is terrible everything about this location needs to change. Training is definitely an order from the upper management down to the lower management. I have passed by this location, I don't know how many times. Of course I stopped in today because due to CoVid, nothing needed can be found anywhere. Work during the day and I have to deal with the left overs hoarders leave behind. Not this location. There was plenty of parking. When I walked in, I was very very impressed. Fruits and veggies were being stocked as I shopped. I did t have a problem looking for any items. This location reminds me of a fancy super market you would see in the movies. The shelves were stocked so perfectly. You would think they were expecting the president. I don't have any complaints. This location is managed very well. It's a very beautiful store. read more

Went to get a salad at the deli which wasnt great but I didnt expect anything fantastic. This bad review mainly comes from an interaction with a supervisor of some sort. I was taking a picture of a box of cereal and a supervisor came by and talking to me like a child said "uh uh uh NO PICTURES." I looked over at him as he shook his head and in a sterner voice said and said "NOOO PICTURES." I was so off taken by this blunt scolding of a costomer I just walked away feeling dumbfounded. This is the worst Ralph's I've ever entered. It's my local store and because this store is so terrible I go to Westchester, which is out of my way. Mainly, I'm disappointed in the pricing here. Having moved from upscale El Segundo the difference in pricing is ridiculous to say the least. Although Inglewood is going through gentrification (which I'm not saying is a good thing), income levels here are still very low. So why is it when I go to the Inglewood store, nothing is ever on sale? At all? No discounts with a Ralph's card whatsoever? In El Segundo where most people aren't struggling to pay for groceries, everything is on sale. This just seems wrong to me. As if there isn't enough economic disparity in our country, low income folks get prices gouged at the grocery store. read more

Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, go to this Ralphs. They keeps all toiletries locked in a cabinet AND the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER than the Ralphs on Centinela (ladera heights). It's pretty despicable since the stores are less than a mile apart...AND the Ralphs on la Brea is obviously in a majority black/brown area and yet the prices are higher. Absolute bullshit. This didn't used to be the case. Will never come here again. Will go to ANY other store other than this Ralphs. The staff isn't all the friendly either. I just wanted to acknowledge the prompt and friendly service that I received today from Betty L. (cashier) and Nickolas (bagger). Now that the Ralphs on Slauson and Crenshaw is closed, I have to often go to the Ralphs in Inglewood to pick up groceries. So much is going on and it is nice to be able to read smiles underneath the masks. In addition to seeing that the staff is working hard to make your trip to the groceries a pleasant experience. I hope that you are able to remain open and keep employees that these two working. read more

The long lines are horrible, I only go if it's an emergency. If you don't have time drive further so your wait is less.

Small store and it's an L shaped parking lot... needs more parking spots in my opinion. I went in for some flowers to take to the Cemetary. Not a big selection, but they had done bouquets priced from $5 to $20. I made them work. They were pretty busy around 3pm in a Sunday. It took quite a while to check out through their express lane. They finally called kind more checker, but I was next in line. The checker scanned my flowers and I paid for them and I was out in a flash. Oh, they had a security guard when you walk in. Don't buy anything fresh here. On multiple visits I've found expired kids yogurt on the shelves, moldy cheese and most recently expired bread they had the nerve to put a new date on in an attempt to cover up the original expiration date. They don't stand for quality and whenever I call attention to this the staff just keeps going like I never spoke. This store is the worst! read more
