Well, I guess eco-friendliness might not be a thing amongst shoppers at this particular Ralph's, but oh well, I just wanted to share some comments I heard from the staff. Anyway, this Ralph's is one of the smaller Kroger stores I have been to, but keep in mind I just moved from Phoenix, AZ where retail space is cheap, so the Kroger (Fry's Food & Drug) stores are much MUCH larger there, almost warehouse size just for the customer-accessible space. I thought I'd order Ralph's curbside service to support the staff at my local Ralph's instead of using a different delivery service, but what a bad idea. I pulled up on time for my groceries, called the number, they said sorry we are running a few mins behind, we are bagging your order now. Ok, great. No big deal. So I received my groceries 10 mins later, drove home, only to find over 100$ worth of products that were missing, either out of stock or forgotten. When I called the store back, he stated that he couldn't find the items. He apologized and stated that he was in a hurry and corrected my order and refunded the products that were missing. Some of the items I believed they may not have had, understandably, other items were so common it's not even possible they were out of stock. He just did a horrible job. A day later, looking at my bank account the charge was still the original charge not the corrected charge. I called back, they asked if I received my receipt in my email? No I hadn't. Then he said that they hadn't even ran my card yet. So as soon as they run my card it will corrected in the system. Why are they not finishing ringing up the sale?? That did get fixed in my bank account, but two days later, I found 2 more items that I never received! Ridiculous. What a mess. Don't use curbside pick up!!! read more

I love shopping here. I've tried to shop at the one on Heaven & Baseline and I just don't feel as comfortable as I do here. I do agree with the other review that the service deli ladies don't always have a friendly attitude but I don't buy much in that dept. The people in the meat dept are always great and able to help. My only complaint is the checkout. I never wanted to use a self checkout and now I am forced. They don't make it easy to have a choice to get a full service checkout. If the light is on, and there's no customer, there usually isn't an attendant either. Self checkout might be good for a couple items but not for full weekly shopping carts. A cute, somewhat small version of your normal Ralph's. We have shopped here a few times when we're in the area and have always found it to be a great store. The prices seem in line with what we are use to in AZ and the wine section, though not large has a nice variety. In some ways this Ralph's reminds us of the other Kroger chain, QFC that you fine in the pacific northwest, or the size of a larger Trader Joe's. This Ralph's also has a good meat and dairy sections and we have always been satisfied by their cuts and choices. One thing we really like is the tie-in with Shell and Circle K for $0.10 off all our gas purchases. Nice! read more

This is my go to grocery store and it's so near the house! I always find deals on items I purchase most, fresh and canned veggies, some bread items, specials on meat and of course alcohol!! Ok, mostly alcohol.... if you buy 6 items it 30% off! That's a great deal! I also like the clearance area in back and have picked up some good deals here! Customer service has always been good here... one time I left a bag with milk in it in my basket, when I came back to look for it and asked the manager, he just let me get a new one!! I find cashiers everywhere have their good and bad days... once a teller told me I couldn't cancel my credit card transaction to use a different card. She just straight lied!! Today I remembered why I shop at the Ralph's on Haven. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff was unpleasant. I came in today and was yelled at by the cashier for trying to use self check out. I don't have the best hearing and apparently she told me to go to her check out lane, but I didn't hear it. Her response was to yell and it made me super uncomfortable. So disappointed. Definitely stick with the Ralph's on Haven if you'd like to have a positive experience with their customer service. read more

First all of Ralph's as a company has gone down hill in years. We ordered a cake to be picked up on 4/23 at 1 pm. All other Ralph's supposedly no longer writes on cakes because of " covid" although we got one from the one on haven not too long ago. Anyway, show up on Saturday at 12:55 and the girl at the bakery without looking up asked us for our name. Her initial answer was " you NEED to give us 15 minutes because it's not ready." Who uses the word NEED when speaking to a customer? Anyway we said okay, 20 minutes later we come back and the cake was barely started. My wife picked a LOL emoji cake for an 8 year old BOY. The picture on the book shows white with Red and blue trimming. She decorated the cake with rainbow colors and purple icing, then she asked if it was for a boy or girl. So I explained to her it was for a boy and that it looked nothing like the cake on the book. She stated that they don't go based on that. So I asked to speak to a manager who then asked them to change it. I spent an hour trying to get a cake when the party started at 2. Customer service has gone done hill and these companies should be ashamed of themselves. If you have too many orders stop taking them, I showed up late with food and cake to our own party late thanks to this. The lady at the bakery must hate her job because she was not happy when the manager asked her to at least che ante the border to blue. I will never go to another Ralph's ever again, I worked at Albertsons for 6 years and I would of have never treated a customer that way... SHAME SHAME SHAME read more

I went into the store briefly to get some coffee Creamer and had passed at least 8 to 9 Employees who were busy doing their stuff. All of them made eye contact with me but none of them smiled or even said good morning or hello. The customer service at this store is absolutely 0. I called as I was walking out of the store and spoke to the manager who said her name was Maria and she told me she was surprised because her staff is usually really good at greeting people. I told her well I didn't experience any of that and she even seemed kind of bothered that I was calling her to let her know about her staff but she did say she would have a huddle with her team to express the importance of customer service. Customer service goes a long way and is definitely what brings the customer back but unfortunately I Had no positive interaction.. I find it hard to believe that in day and age shopper are allowed into a supermarket without wearing protective face mask. This market has signs all over the entrance informing you to wear a mask and is mandated by California law makers. During all the madness, price gouging is illegal. This Ralph's tried to charge me $29.99 for 6 rolls of toilet paper. When I brought up the outrageous cost I was advised to put my club card in which brought the cost down to $27.99. Ahhh, Ralphs, one of my first California memories going here as a kid, well not this location but Ralphs is still one of my favorite grocery stores. This one is a great location and filled with managers specials. Not the usual half off, we're talking 90% off, $20 hair products, $2, I filled up a cart with specials and spent $100 instead of over $300 not using one coupon. I ordered a ham for Easter. They apparently use a 3rd party service who cancelled 5 minutes prior to window. Jim Dunn made arrangements for another Ralph's team member to deliver. He trusts me to pay when things are back to normal. I cannot leave house during these times, senior with health condition. This incredible act of kindness can never be repaid. I have been without meat for 2 weeks. This is why I have been a customer there for 15 years. Great team members like Michelle, etc Jeannie from district just delivered and stated ham was on her. This review is about FEEDBACK: I am not a regular customer at this location, and parked by one door which had a sign "Take Basket Here" when I got closer the sign was actually there to block door because it was closed. I came in and offered a suggestion that maybe they could put a sign out further so people could park by the opened door. The manager on duty told me that they closed the door every night at 9pm. I explained that everyone is not a regular and it might be more helpful with a sign out farther to tell people about the door being locked. The best thing about the 'new' Ralph's aka Kroger, is that they are updating. More selection, reasonably priced organic and the superb Private Selection items in each aisle. The Private Selection store brand items are pretty much the best you can get and at a reasonable price point. This is what keeps me coming back. Value, and good products. Today, I was happy to visit the market with my wife. At the moment when I made an automatic payment for over $40, a message appeared on the screen three times to ask you to do it again. At the moment, he thought something was wrong, and asked for help from a nearby employee. The employee said that the credit card was acceptable and the debit card was not allowed, there was no notice, and the debit card was already paid three times, so I looked up in anxious mind. After payment by credit card, When I checked the balance, it was paid once out of three times, I immediately complained to the employee, I paid for it from this card, and that the payment was made from this card. You don't even try to see your bank balance, you ignore it and expect it, call the bank and talk to someone. Where is the wrong place due to a problem in the system, call the bank and ask someone to solve it directly???? And without staring, not really checking what went wrong, is this not racial discrimination, neglect of customers, and gross negligence of work? read more

I think this is the nicest grocery store in Rancho Cucamonga, especially since Pavilion closed long ago in Montclair. This Ralphs location is recently remodelled making it even nicer. I LOVE that they have an actual sushi chef. I get their sushi quite often, which saves me from always getting it from a Japanese restuarant. Plus, I like the self-serve registers. read more

I am a fan of this particular location! Ralph's is the center of this area so it doesn't share the parking lot with any other big stores, so finding parking is a breeze! Pros: -Spacious parking spots -Clean stores -Friendly employees -No long lines (I went in after work which is prime time busy) -Great deals! -There's a recycling center nearby where you can redeem your money at Ralphs! -Spacious Room Cons: -It was a bit confusing to find certain food items where I had to walk around the store two times Overall this is a great Ralphs. I shop her at least twice a week. Always gotta check the clearance in the back (and all the other spots!), that's my favorite thing about ralph's haha. All in all, I don't really have much negative to say about this store, nothing amazing or awesome, either. So WHY write a review?? RICK D. That's why. Spiky white haired guy, usually there during the day. If you see his name tag, he's been with ralph's long enough to get some medals/pins. What cracks me up is that EVERY TIME I see this guy working, you can see it on his face that he hates his job, and has genuine apathy for customer service. I use the self check out more often than not, but no matter who he's helping, you can always see him shaking his head, rolling his eyes, or muttering something to himself whenever his customer looks away. Don't believe me? Go watch him for 5 minutes. I guess I should be complaining about this type of employee, considering if any of MY employees behaved the same, I'd fire them. So, fine, I'll give it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. But more than anything, I get a chuckle out of watching this guy work, and this review is simply to bring more attention to this guy, so for one, you can avoid him, for two, maybe you'll get a laugh outta watching him work. ;) Again, RICK D., 5'9"ish, spiky white hair, hates his job.
