Fairly well kept Ralph's in West Hollywood, just on the cusp of Hollywood at the light La Brea (Avenue) & Fountain (Avenue) Easy parking in their super spacious lot as well as easy access for pedestrians, those commuting through various alternative transportation and locals. The have a cool automatic gate when you first walk in the automatic doors and a spacious self-checkout area. Good quality produce and filled areas. The prices can be a little challenging but not entirely Ralph's as a whole reasonbile, but also not the most competitive for a good deal. Wanted to grab a few items recently though I stop in from time to time before heading to my day job. Non-dairy yogurt was pretty much empty and the yogurt area in general shopped very hard! The self-checkout registers were very much down/ acting up - but even before then my total came out to what would be $5 to $7 less in the previous couple of years. Not my favorite location, but most of the staff is friendly. The inside could use a refresh for sure, to match the outside. Open 5am to 11pm daily. read more

Place an order on Uber Eats needing a few hygiene products a couple things from the deli and a few other grocery items it's about to be 11 PM. Ralph's does not close until 11 AM. They have the entire hygiene aisle completely locked up and closed off so guess cannot gain access to products in addition to that they have the entire fresh deli aisle close as well read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Ralphs in WeHo today. I came in directly after working an 8-hour night shift (10 PM - 6 AM) at a restaurant. Yes, I looked tired, and my work pants had some ice cream stains on them from my job, but that is no excuse for the treatment I received. While holding a pack of Red Bull, a staff member (a woman, approx. 35-45) approached me and asked, 'Are you going to pay for that?' When I asked why she was questioning me, she simply said, 'a lot of people steal Red Bull here.' This felt like a direct accusation and profiling based on my appearance. I brought this up to the manager on duty (a younger woman, around 27), but she seemed completely indifferent and didn't care about the harassment I faced as a paying customer. It's unacceptable to treat hard-working people like criminals just because they don't look 'perfect' after a long shift. I won't be coming back to this location. read more

Once upon a time this was a decent grocery store. It seems like those days are over. On my last visit, the parking lot had sketchy characters loitering and asking for money. Inside the store there was an aggressive salesman trying to convince people to sign up and change their phone plan. The healthier food options have declined while prices have gone up. Prices are now comparable to Whole Foods, except with lower quality. Customer service is non-existent. Safe to say, I won't be back. read more

On Sunday, 12/7 at approximately 4:30 PM, I called the pharmacy and had an unexpectedly negative experience. The male staff member who answered the phone was unusually rude and dismissive, which was surprising given the courteous service I normally receive from Kateryna. When I asked to speak with a pharmacist, I was told I could not, despite being informed that one was present. When I then requested to speak with a store manager, the employee laughed and hung up on me. This behavior is highly concerning, especially from someone handling matters related to patients' health and medications. It raises serious doubt about whether this individual should be entrusted with such responsibilities. read more

Sorry, but no improvements over the years. Service for the most part is poor. (There are a couple of employees that actually do demonstrate good care and service, -- this includes Steve and Michael. Otherwise, other staff-members seem not to care). Unreasonably long lines and lack of open checkout lanes. Rampant burglaries and shoplifting (some of your security guard(s) don't do anything even when the guard sees a shoplifter brazenly walking out with groceries, w/o paying!). Also, frequent and blatant overcharging. When a wrong price is detected, some of your employees give an attitude instead of apologizing and adjusting the price. SHAMEFUL! Overall, quite an unwelcoming (if not hostile) environment. Dear store manager: you guys seriously need to step up - and learn from other grocery stores about customer service. For starters, the nearby Trader Joe's offers a 5-star service. Feel free to pay them a visit, to see first-hand what it means to create a welcoming environment and decent service. BEST RALPHS EVER! They do have some characters around there, but compared to Downtown this is PARADISE. You DON'T HAVE to go through a maze to find what you're looking for. The Ralphs location on Sunset--not the one on La Brea--has generally respectful security guards, especially since they're aware that I often record. I appreciate that they consistently maintain a professional attitude. However, it's unclear how well customers with disabilities are being treated, especially considering that the customer service from some cashiers isn't always consistent. I typically use self-checkout to avoid issues. I also believe Ralphs should update its food offerings. The vegan section is very limited, and the store still focuses heavily on meat products. For a company that serves a diverse community, it's disappointing to see so few healthy, plant-based options. A more robust vegan selection would not only be more inclusive but also promote better health. The Baker is the worst, The baker manager(woman) is horrible They claim they didn't get me order, I had 3 separate orders..claim they didn't get any of them. I went to pick up on 10/30/25 around noon... the manager said there was nothing she could do or offer a solution. Review for Ralph's Pharmacy This Pharmacy is so much better than the Walgreens nearby. My doctors are able to phone in prescriptions and they're literally ready in 15 minutes for pick up. All the employees working at the pharmacy are always really friendly. The hubs usually picks up my prescriptions for me and they know him by name and recognize that he's there for my scripts. read more

Customer service is horrible at Ralphs on fountain/lA brea...Patricia, claims to be the store manager since I could not speak to any one else. Doesn't know the first rule on customer service. Was not helpful or caring in any way. Her responses back to me was more like a government bureaucrat than someone working for a company that needs customers. She made life checking out of Ralphs more difficult than it had to be for being a manager. Also, they don't enforce parking lot. There was no one in the store ,yet the parking lot was full on store level. Patricias response was she knows non customers park there and to park on the roof level because cars get dinged on the store level. Pretty wild thing to tell a customer. I ordered groceries for pick up bc I have a disability. The store called me at 719p to remind me to pick up the groceries. I told them thank you and I'd arrive in 10-15 mins, which I did. They said someone would be available to bring them to my car. When I arrived I used the app to check in and enter my parking spot number. I did and waited. When no one came out I checked in again and stated my parking spot number again. Then I waited more and called the store several times. No one answered the phone after several calls. Then I called the main 800 number and also used the chat bot to ask for help. The chat bot did not help. But the representative on the phone tried calling the store as well and reported back to me that no one was answering. This process took one hour. Finally the phone rep told me to go inside which was not easy and why I ordered ahead for the bags to be brought to my vehicle. When I entered the store, I asked for help and the employee asked me to stand just the front and wait for the person to help me. I waited ten more minutes unclear about what was happening so I asked again how I could get help. The employee then called security to come over and watch over me with their loaded weapon. This was incredibly traumatizing. Other than being a black male there is absolutely nothing scary or threatening about me that would even remotely warrant armed supervision. The other employee who ended up helping me told me I didn't call and the phone didnt ring and blamed me. I didn't need to explain a private ADA matter in public especially as I was keenly aware of an armed agent hovering over me. I let her know I would wait at my car for the groceries. The security officer followed me out to my vehicle and hovered outside my vehicle like I was a convicted felon. Once the employee brought my groceries out, she THREW them in my trunk and refused to let me know where the eggs where until she was already thrusting them into my trunk. The armed guard watching over the whole time. There is zero reason why a customer following all the rules should have to wait one hour for their groceries, for none of the paths to resolution to contact the store work. And then be treated so traumatically when entering a store like any other normal customer. I didn't yell or curse or threaten or make any actions that would be perceived as warranting armed protection for the store or employee. I beg anyone involved to consider whether a small white woman would have received the same awful traumatizing treatment. read more

Today's visit reminded me why I prefer online market delivery services like Misfits and Martie. I decided to stop by today because it's convenient on my drive. During covid, this location was good for grocery pickup, instead of going in and wearing a mask. Today was disappointing because the cashiers have zero skill as far as customer interaction. I saw the lit number showing that the register is supposed to be open, so I walk up, but the cashier was doing something. I asked "Are you open?" No answer. The cashier next him, to my right, said something to the guy who I was talking to, something like "hey she wants to know if you're open". Still no answer. I give up and go to two registers over, skipping the guy who was talking to the first guy. Never did this guy say "I'll help you come over here". Just really stupid and lame all around. When I was checked out, I asked those guys is there a reason you couldn't answer me. They mumbled something I couldn't understand, I think they didn't know English because they looked to be Hispanic. I said it's rude to ignore the customer. I doubt they even cared or even understood me. The worse your customer service is, the more you're hurting your business, and then you won't have your cashier job anymore. You will push your customers to online grocery services. Absolutely delapidated, dirty, dim, the clientele are shady and sketchy, and the woman at the register (well, there were no "registers," only self-checkout and a couple of women bossing everyone around like prison wardens) was rude af. This was my first time coming to the store because I moved to West Hollywood. I was approached by a random guy. He was inquiring about my 5-year-old daughter. I then went to security and told him that this guy was acting really weird. Security was on board and he told me to show him the guy. After I showed him the guy the security looked at me. If I could give half a star... After coming here to this Ralph's for the past 19 years, I've had few problems. Until now. The wait for the deli is ridiculous! This is the 3rd time in the row that I've waited over 15-20 mins for service. Not because of someone else being helped. It was just no one there at all for a while. Today I waited 20 mins. After which I went and spoke to a manager who then called for help on the loud speaker. Still no one came. I asked if the employee structure changed or if they were short staffed. Couldn't buy anything the boxes already staked in front of everything and the guy already rushing costumer to get out saying door close at 12:45, and when it came time to pay around 20 to 25 people in line waiting to pay. I've been using this Ralph's for over 25 years on a daily basis, today I was harassed by the manager, worker, and the security to be kicked out of the store; I asked to buy one Rose for my daughter, while I was shopping, BUT WAS DENIED and insulted by Martha Gellar, cause she was busy with instacart orders, and wanted me to wait till she finish all her remote orders.
