I couldn't wait for this Grocery Outlet to open for me to go and give them a try. I was there back in March of this year and they were still closed. A lady outside said that tomorrow will be the Grand Opening. That tomorrow was March 28th of this year. Anyway, walked in on 6/29/26 around 3:30pm just to see what they had. What a bargain in every way!! Some things that you can find here, that you can't find at our local grocery stores. Literally 40 to 70% off on some items. It is so convenient and conventional. From Pantry essentials to fresh produce. Organic, gluten free, plant based items and seasonal finds. There is something new for everyones palate and appetite. I am so happy that I discovered this store. Where was this store when I used to live in Hollywood?? Since I was there, I couldn't not purchase anything. Wide aisles and easy to navigate. Everything was nicely, fully stocked and organized. I bought a lot of items: Not going to mention most of the prices for each item, but will let you know the entire total later.. I will mention few. Got one Greeting card that you can get at a local store or drugstore for like $5.00 and here it was only $1.99. Got 1 loaf of Grainseed bread, box of Canada Dry diet Ginger Ale, count of mini 10 cans. (zero sugar, caffeine free) 2 mini sized Watermelons, one Cherry Tomatoes, 4 long bananas. For sale 2 for a $1.00, then I got 2 small Vanilla and Strawberry flavored yogurts, one pack of small Raspberries. (one of my favorite berries next to Blueberries), 3 yellow peaches, one Beyond plant based patties (count of 2), Orange Cream bites from their frozen section, 1 Whipped cream that's best to put on pies, and other types of dessert. Also, 2 small, compact Snack tray, 2 for $2.99, check them out at our local grocery stores. Double the price. From their meat section, got marinated Carne Asada, a beautiful bunch of flowers. Mixed bouquet. Was on sale for $12.99. Very fresh flowers. Last, but not least got this new Sauce Cilantro Dip. For all that I paid $68.64 plus tax. I saved a good almost $28.00 without even being a member. You can sign up for their membership program on their App and online. Didn't have time for that. Employees were very nice, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Special shout out to Andres in the produce department for helping me find few items. 2 minor critiques, they don't have hot cases of food, like Rotisserie chicken, soups etc.. the 2nd one was their small bags that are usually next to the produce departments, are all the way hanging at the top. So Andres grabbed like 10 of them and gave them to me. Store was very well maintained, clean with 2 gender neutral restrooms. Long business hours for our convenience, Didn't use the restroom, but hoping that it was clean. Their manager Ceasar was on top of the game making sure that the employees were not goofing around and actually working. Keeping the customers happy and satisfied. Parking shared with multiple other businesses. Thank you all. This store is here to STAY! A true gem. My cashier was Sergio, for a new employee he was pretty quick and sharp. read more

LOW PRICED GROCERIES I had heard a lot about Grocery Outlet, so I was excited to learn they were going to open one in Hollywood near my mechanic. After I took my car in for service, I popped in to see if it was really a bargain. There's a free parking lot, but it gets very busy the later it gets. Come in early on a weekday morning to skip the hassle. The store is clean, and the aisles are wide. Options are limited in various categories, especially for coffee. Didn't have the Go Macro bars I was hoping to find either. Since prices are on par with Trader Joe's as well as the sales at Ralph's, Von's and Smart and Final, it's not worth a special trip unless you're in the neighborhood. There are plenty of their private brand products, but I prefer to stick to the things I know. Bought some blueberries on sale, which were perfect. If you're on a budget and you live nearby, it might be worth adding this store to your list. read more

I'm so happy Grocery Outlet opened in Hollywood! It's been a staple for me for years. I come here specifically for the low cost name brand items. If you don't know, they buy extra inventory from manufacturers that is overproduced, discontinued, or about to expire. This is my favorite place to buy soaps, hair care, skincare, and organic items. I just visited yesterday, 5/24/26, and there was a stand out selection of Hispanic foods, pet supplies, and soft drinks. There were also incredible deals on wine and beer. I only spent $56 and came away with a 6 pack of Liquid Death, a box of Caesar dog food, a few cups of Nutro Ultra dog food, Zuke's training treats, Ben & Jerry's Dairy Free ice cream pint, Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, it's a 10 hair care products, and a Guru Nanda teeth whitening pen. Shelves were very organized and clean. Free parking is always a plus. Pro-tip: It's always good practice to price check on your phone. Sometimes discontinued items are discounted elsewhere, so if you're motivated by the price rather than the need, you have time to think it over before buying. read more

It's nice to have different market options in the area so I was happy when this place open here. For starters the food price, cleaning products and health and beauty stuff is more affordable here compared to other markets in the area for sure. For now everything is clean and well put as it is still new so I hope people keep it that way. I've been here a few times already and the staff has been so nice and on top of their game ever since they open. I love that there's always parking even though it is located on a plaza with Denny's and many other kind of eateries. The only bad thing about the place so far is the lighting outside. What they have now it's very dim at night time and you know we get a lot of sketchy people around here so hopefully they fix that as they continue being in here. read more

I love grocery outlet! It is ALL less expensive less Then Winco. smart and final. They have things I have never seen before such as chocolate hummus. Veggies are fresh and always someone In the produce dept. working. I appreciate the fact That they are not price gouging it's really for the Everyday consumer and they mean what they say. Wines small selection but good many I haven't seen. May 5.99 6.99 . Usually a basic warehouse style but hey nowadays us beggars can't be choosers. Great sales families profit big time on staples. Bad experience, wrongfully profile. Both worker and supervisor, lack customer service and experience. Would not give me the manager's number, I am embarrassed to write this as it's a place I would shop often. However, I can't in good will support a business that profiles and won't admit to their mistakes once they are confronted with the truth. This is my first time experiencing this but I feel good of the person that I am and won't let these two people make me feel less. read more

I am so glad that we finally have the opportunity to have a normal grocery store that Is not high-end(bristol farms), veggies are not rotting(traders), and has a lot of good options to choose from. I do like that they carry their own brand- and they have really good deals on meats/fish/eggs and alot of their pantry items. Hopefully they never change! They have bathrooms but they are not open to the public, they will send you to starbucks! Which is odd for a grocery store! But it might be a worker /cleaning thing. They don't have a crazy amount of options but they do have a good/safe amount. I would love to see a baby section! read more

They do not honor the sticker prices at checkout. Even if a sign says the price, the register will have a different price. I addressed that with the clerk and she refused to honor the price as was printed on the yellow sign on the shelf. I asked why and she said that's our policy do you want the item or not? Rude and weird. If you shop here watch the receipt as they are a bit shady. read more

I'm glad they opened this store in the neighborhood as the other grocers are so expensive. The store is clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly. What I like is I can get the everyday items, fresh or frozen fruits and veggies, milk and bread, cereal, and pay less based on $ per bag of groceries. They also always have some kind of snack food or treat on sale if I have money left over in my budget for something special. Easier to get parking spot earlier in day than after work. Yes check expiration dates and yes sometimes they match a sale item somewhere else, but bag for bag I spend less here. read more

This location (Store #0550) had a mistake on their pricing for their Mogu Mogu coconut jelly drink where the price was for the 6-pack that they printed themselves from their handheld device. It was scanned but they did not honor the price and said the price was for each individual bottle. The managers were all in agreement saying they would lose money. Understandable. But the mistake was not mine and they should have honored the price and fixed it moving forward. So the price for showing their mistake is paying the sticker price and not honoring the price they set which any other grocery store would have done. This should be a teachable moment from the managers to whoever is printing the sticker prices and not at the expense of the customer. read more

Unfortunately, though: once the glamour of the "Grand Opening" was over, the reality of mediocrity started to settle in, sorry to say... 1) VARIETY & SELECTION: 2 - 3 stars. Mostly ok. Same as other stores. Certain popular items, though, are unavailable. 2) PRICES: 3 stars. The vast majority of items are at similar prices as elsewhere. Except for eggs - which are cheaper (thank you!), and some other items. -- Otherwise, the same. ...Speaking of which: 3) PRICE DECEPTION: 1 star. This is where your store went too far! On most items, there is a sneaky little tag: "In other stores: $#.##" (pretending other stores are far more expensive). Which is a deliberate lie!! **Dear store management: for your own benefit -- you may want to remove those deceiving words from your price-tags. Displaying false information is unethical - and is Deceptive Advertising. No need to entice the public by trying to convince other places are more expensive! This will do more harm than good. The reality is: the nearby stores, including Trader Joe's, Ralphs, Smart N' Final, Sprouts, etc. -- have very similar (if not lower) prices. 4) STORE ENVIRONMENT: 2 stars. You may want to turn down your music a bit. It's not a nightclub, no need to push loud beats into our ears! Yes, having music while shopping is good, but please keep a reasonable level. After all, some families with children and/or elderly folks might prefer a quieter environment. 5) CUSTOMER SERVICE: 4 stars. The store employees seem nice and hardworking. 6) CHECKOUT / WAIT-TIMES: 2 stars. Not enough checkout registers open. In fact, on a busy Saturday afternoon there was only 1 (!) register open; a long line was formed. Finally, another register opened up. Barely any savings and you're just getting product that will expire much quicker. The whole point of this store is to save money . I know inflation has raised prices but there were barely any deals. Maybe the real estate in this location costs a lot, but Ralph's and Trader Joe's still are the places you can go and shop in one place to get everything. read more
