First time checking out Ralston's and I'm honestly surprised it took me this long. I've passed by this spot so many times going up and down Mass Ave and never stopped in. Ralston's feels like one of those classic neighborhood hangout spots. The kind of sports bar where you could easily strike up a conversation with someone new, and if you start coming in regularly, you'll definitely start seeing familiar faces. Amaya was our waitress. She was cool and a bit on the quieter side, but attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Ordered the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries, which came with a cream cheese dipping sauce. Everything arrived fresh and hot, which is always a plus. I also had my go to tequila sunrise along with a few green tea shots to round things out. LOL Overall, it was a solid first experience. Definitely the kind of laid back spot you can stop into for drinks, bar food, and a casual night out with friends.

Food and Drink: I had Ralston's for the first time! For dinner, I had the chicken tenders and the sweet potato fries (with cinnamon seasoning and cream cheese dip). The chicken tenders were of a standard decent size but hot and fresh. The fries were AMAZING!! Dipping them in the cream cheese was a flavor combo surprise and would love to go back just for those. For drinks I had a blood orange margarita and white tea shots. The marg alone was a 10/10 and the shots were 1000/10! Overall, I left with a good first impression, and would be open to coming back. Customer Service: Amaya was our waitress and she was cool, but introverted. However, all of our food and drinks were made correctly so we appreciate her being on top of our needs! Ambiance: This place is very casual. Ideal for a night out or group gatherings. It is a drafthouse so there are plenty of tvs, and even dartboards! You're sure to make new friends here and socialize over drinks and sports.

Gay little joyful spot. I hear a lot of people from Footlite Musicals like to come here after rehearsals which makes it a win in my book. Staff is super nice and the space is a classic American eatery. I liked what I ordered, food was tasty!!!

Not my first time at Ralston's, but I had such a great time at their trivia night I thought I should finally write a review. Always great service and I love that there is a lot of seating space. It is also kid friendly so we were able to bring our baby to trivia which was nice. I love their salads and they have Guinness on draft. Great spot for groups, kids, or just to enjoy the good weather on the patio.

Had a fun conversation with the waiter about both Untapped (Untappd?) And DnD, neither of which i do, but im glad yet again the staff are excited to welcome GenCon tourists and business. I stuck to the SunKing cider, but he was also able to give a good suggestion to my friend. Salad was delicious--i should have gotten a whole. Also thankful the heat has broken so we could sit out on the patio.

We came for an after work outing and had a great time. The server was awesome and very attentive. No issues at all. And the food was all incredibly delicious! I'm a spicy food lover so I especially liked the crab dip and the cheese curds. I tried the lemon shake up and it was so good. Kind of dangerous because you can't taste the alcohol haha. Would be great for summertime as well. This place is so chill and great for people to come hang out for awhile. The bar is a good spot to watch a game as well. We love to come in the summer and sit on the patio with our dogs.

Amazing beer selection and prices. Good food, but it's expensive. I went in to watch a WNBA game over dinner and drinks. I was very impressed with their great selection of beer. They have so many options on tap. They have a lot of options in bottles/cans, too. I did not try any, but they have a long cocktail and whine list, too. I ordered a Philly Hoagie and fries. For what it cost I don't think it was worth the price. But inflation is killing food prices right now. Despite that the Philly hoagie was AMAZING and the fries were great, too. I just wish it either cost less or I got just a bit more fries or a bigger sandwich for what I paid. The inside is like a sports bar. There are a few big TV's so it's hard to watch every game. But there are enough. Finally the staff was very friendly and served me quickly!

I've had Ralton's bookmarked for a long time. Finally last night was the night to try it I guess! We came at a good time because as we were leaving it started to pick up. We both ordered the hot mess sandwich. Grilled or breaded chicken, smoked bacon, avocado, aged white cheddar, lettuce and sriracha mayo. I would order that again! The waffle sweet potato fries were crisp and went well with the brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese dip. Wow, that was such a great duo! Yum! The ranch they make is delicious if you're a ranch lover!!! They have darts and TV's where we were sitting and it seemed to have laid back vibe. I very much liked that especially after a long week at work. Good food and good times! Will be back!!

A long way from home for a work conference, Ralston's has changed the way I see Indy. Welcoming, delicious wings, and my favorite tequila (Lalo)...I couldn't have felt more comfortable. My waitress, Marin was amazing; just attentive enough. And the man that greeted me at the door was so friendly and welcoming. I'd certainly come back if ever I were in town again.

Good service, our food was decent. Typical pub with a heavy helping of Hoosier. Very much a neighborhood fixture.

Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

Our server was friendly and responsive to one member of our group (male) but repeatedly didn't acknowledge another (female). This wasn't a one-time thing, it happened several times over the course of our visit, and it came across as dismissive. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it. The place seems geared toward bigger dinner crowds, which may be why a two-person drinks-only table didn't get much attention, but being essentially ignored isn't a great look either way. We wouldn't return. 2/5.

One wall is covered in hundreds of stickers that somehow work together perfectly, there's a colorful mural that's impossible not to notice, and the whole place has that "this has been someone's favorite spot for years" kind of energy. Then the pizza showed up... We ordered the Spicy Mexican, and I don't know who first decided sour cream belonged on pizza, but they deserve a raise. Chorizo, fresh jalapeños, red onion, cilantro, mozzarella, and that cool drizzle of sour cream somehow all work together without one ingredient stealing the show. Every bite had a little heat, a little freshness, and a whole lot of flavor. Flavor Bomb Meter: The crust had just enough chew with a perfectly crisp bottom, and the toppings weren't shy. No sad, sparsely dressed pizza here. Topping-to-Crust Ratio: 10/10. I also appreciate restaurants that have personality without trying too hard. Pearl Street feels authentic. Plus, they had a few vegan choices for me (highly caloric, not super healthy, but still, they had more than one choice, and vegan offerings that weren't salads). They even had three tasty mocktails and some alcohol-free beers (since I don't do booze anymore either)! The veggie burger came with a squishy bean patty, with peas in it -- not my fave texture or flavor but tolerable -- and a tahini sauce... but they barely put any sauce on it. A gourmet, no-high-fructose-corn-syrup ketchup or tomato jam might have been better, or at least more of the tahini. It did come with a nice pile o' crunchy pickles (love) and a lovely green salad with balsamic dressing (way too many carrots). Service was fast and friendly. Ambience is upscale bar, with fun and interesting murals on the walls -- they had a terrific music playlist going, and the Hubbins and I ended up kind of dancing in place without realizing it. Public parking lot directly across the street meant we didn't get soaked by the rainstorm, and didn't have to drive around forever dealing with construction, looking for a parking spot. A nice, easy option for dinner with the fam without having to work/think too hard about it -- something to suit all of our varied diets.
