Parking wasn't the best experience at first, but that quickly turned around when we walked in. Although we ordered takeout, the service was top notch during the short time we were there. Evan, the server who helped us, was the sweetest and very accommodating. We need more Evans in restaurants! All the food we ordered was delicious. A must eat when in Indy Downtown and the War Pig didn't disappoint!

Service was very slow but friendly. Very disappointed with the food... who makes a Ruben sandwich with two strips of corned beef? The setting was alright

If you know me, you know I love wings & they did not disappoint. I've always heard about Chatham Tap & wanted to check it out so my friend ordered us some wings to go since we were having movie night. He was just bragging that him & his friends had some so it was only right haha. We had the lemon pepper and signature sauce & they were so good & crisp. I'm not a big lemon pepper person but these were actually good. The lemon flavor wasn't overwhelming, which I can appreciate. The signature sauce is the right amount sweet & spicy & paired with ranch, chef's kiss. For it to be a to-go order, the wings were still hot & fresh. They were so good that I also went with my family this weekend haha. Kyle was our sever & he was really cool. They messed up our order but fixed it immediately without us asking. I honestly feel like they did more than they needed to but that's great customer service! I had a margarita, it was perfectly balanced, not too much liquor & not too sweet. It reminds you of any typical bar, similar to the show Cheers haha. There was TV's all over that were showing a boxing match & college football. For an early Saturday night, it wasn't overly crowded. We were able to be seated & greeted immediately. Our food took maybe 20-30 minutes to bring out but it was all delicious! We had mozzarella sticks, potato skins, fries (btw, I love French fries & these were elite!) & wings. I say all of this to say, I see why they say it's some of the best wings in Indy. I'll be back again!

The wings are plenty and amazing. They have a welcoming staff, the scenery atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Great place to chill next time I'm there I'm trying the War Pig which is so deep fried pork chop sandwich. Met a guy there name Kevin, he's a good dude talked with him for nearly two hours. Great conversation about traveling around Indiana even shared with me some places to check out. I most definitely will. If my movie didn't start at 10:15 pm I'm certain I would have closed the place.

Much more than an soccer bar. Food, service, and atmosphere are all on point. Chatham Tap is great for watching morning Premier League soccer matches with fellow Indy soccer fans. They have a great breakfast menu which enhances the game watching experience. I had a breakfast burrito on my last visit. That plus a coffee hit the spot. This bar has an old, dark wood, warm, vintage vibe to it. I recently came by for lunch with a colleague. We both wanted to try the wings which we have heard good things about. The Prince Dean's Angel Wings with the signature sauce were very tasty with a good crunch to the exterior of the wing. We arrived right after they opened and as it became busier, the solo bartender/server did a great job at remaining attentive to each customer. Excited to try more lunch and dinner options on my next visit. Or more breakfast options when I come to watch another Arsenal game. Up the Gunners.

My husband and I grabbed a late dinner here with my sister and brother-in-law on a weeknight and it was a lot more enjoyable than the other times we've stopped in on the weekend (much quieter, usually it's too loud to really hear other people at your table talking). Our server was nice and our food and drinks came out fast. 3 of us ordered wings and my sister ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. We also ordered a round of mystery shots and their fried pickles for an appetizer. Everything was fresh and tasty and I really enjoyed the weeknight ambiance over the chaotic weekend one.

So we're in town for the Royal Rumble and honestly didn't have much planned outside of that. We had heard that Indianapolis was a quiet town with not much exciting stuff to do so we hadn't put too much time aside to explore. We had just come from Chicago and experienced all kinds of delicious staples in the area and were expecting Indy to be a considerable step down in terms of food. Boy were we wrong. The one and only place I had saved in town was Chatham Tap after a quick Google search about famous local foods. I don't think I had ever eaten a pork tenderloin, and if I had it definitely wasn't as a sandwich. The menu looked absolutely stacked with delicious creations after creation but one immediately stood out - the WAR PIG. A name can only get you so far, though. Could this well named menu item live up to its hype? A look at the ingredients would suggest yes but how would the execution follow through? This might be the greatest sandwich ever created. Perfectly fried pork tenderloin that was soft to the bite, a runny yolk dripping onto the layer of chips, thick and crispy bacon, THREE different kinds of cheese and a jalapeño hollandaise that I think I could drink with a straw. I didn't think my weekend could get any better than it already was but I can confidently say that this culinary experience was the highlight of my trip. Not the food in the other city, not even the great wrestling event I was actually there for... THIS was the gem of the weekend. Bravo, Chatham Tap and Indianapolis.. Bravo.

Chatham tap is a cozy sports bar on Mass Ave that serves some fantastic food. The restaurant is seat yourself and sometimes space can be limited, but the service is great and the wings are amazing. The wings are incredibly crispy and massive. Definitely up there for some of the best wings in Indy. The nachos were ok, but tasted almost burnt and didn't have enough cheese. Best wing flavors: - House sauce: Absolute must try. Tastes almost like a tangy teriyaki sauce but even better. Can't go wrong with getting just an order of these - Hot Buffalo: classic buffalo. Can't go wrong - Chipotle apricot: definitely spicy but not as much flavor as I was expecting - Mango habanero: the sauce was a little too sweet, but another classic sauce. Overall must visit if you are a fan of wings with their signature sauce and incredibly crunchy wings. Other flavors and appetizers can be a hit or miss, but will be back just for the signature sauce wings.

Great place on mass Ave. Me and my friend got a couple beers and some nachos. The nachos were just an appetizer, but it was HUGE so we didn't even need more food. Lots of good beers to choose from here. The food menu had many options too. The service was a bit slow, but good overall. It was very cozy inside with a TON of soccer decorations. They let us put F1 on TV to watch the race and they have the Indy Car race on another TV. Great spot for after on races on a Sunday. Check this place out!

Chatham Tap Mass Ave never misses! I have never been disappointed and I have been there countless times. The Prince Dean wings are arguably the best wings in the city. However, the garlic ranch and chicken tenders (with the signature sauce) may be the best kept secrets. Getting the spinach artichoke dip is a MUST and it comes with the crispy pita chips. I also really love their salads! You just can't go wrong. It's a unique soccer bar and a pretty quaint atmosphere. The customer service is efficient and consistent.

Down East Cider on tap is always good! My hubby always gets a glass of Guinness.

This is our fav pub in town. My husband calls it his happy place. THE best place in the city to watch a soccer (football) match if you like sharing the energy with a group of fans. With Andrew or Cory behind the bar and Evanne or Jasmine waiting tables you're sure to have great service too. If you go for an early match, my fav is the breakfast sandwich. They're known for great wings and chicken tenders. I cannot say enough good things about their fried chicken salad though! Generous portion, lots of fresh ingredients like cucumber and grape tomatoes. It's SO good. You know it's good when the three of us today all ordered it!

Top drawer 21+ British mood, excellent menu showcasing a blended variety, and draft selection giving us original colony all the fun without throwing tea into a harbor. My buddy and I both did a sandwich, chicken, and Reuben. My Reuben was small and dry but paired fantastic with a Speckled Hen beer. A drink bitter forward smooth sipping alongside rather jerky textured beef, splash of sauerkraut, dressing on the iconic rye, and the British mad football voiceover in the background made for one unique dinner ideal for seeking out something special on Mass Ave. There's good seating, outdoor patio right next to the running path, and so much to try on the menu! Service was solid, bathrooms small but clean, and parking the usual annoyingly extra time to pay during the week rounded out the downtown stop. Can easily recommend Chatham as a definitive overseas eats along with my favorite Indianapolis spot right up the street: Bodhi.

    Chicken Taco Salad

The customer service is great. The place is a kinds small inside (more like a pub) and the outdoor seating isn't big at all but the food is good. I ordered a taco salad with chicken and chipotle- ranch and asked to remove the sour cream. I have to say this was one of the best taco salads I've ever had!!! It was so refreshing and healthy, except for the fried shell was too oily for me. Overall I would recommend this dish and would order it again.

They had the door open, which was letting in the fresh almost-spring air.) Drinks are pretty much all they have at Snug, to be honest. Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

Our server was friendly and responsive to one member of our group (male) but repeatedly didn't acknowledge another (female). This wasn't a one-time thing, it happened several times over the course of our visit, and it came across as dismissive. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it. The place seems geared toward bigger dinner crowds, which may be why a two-person drinks-only table didn't get much attention, but being essentially ignored isn't a great look either way. We wouldn't return. 2/5.
