I almost hate to write a review for this place because of how great it is. Sometimes places like this are worth keeping a secret. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This has that old school neighborhood bar vibe and I absolutely loved it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From the friendly service to the delicious food, my wife and I had an amazing time here. I can't wait to come back this summer once the driving range is open. read more

Terrible Staff!! I would never recommend this place to anyone! Staff was rude. Service was so bad, not sure how they stay open. Good luck if you are Brave enough to suffer through the food. read more

Had live music tonight which was good. I had a pizza which was ordered as a 14" and came out as an 18". Was supposed to be well done, that didn't happen. Kitchen made a mistake. Pizza was fair at best. Wouldn't order that again. It's a busy bar. It's my second time here. I'm still trying to find the sweet spot that draws everyone in. read more

We stopped in for the first time last night! We've heard the pizza is amazing, and that's exactly what we were craving! I went to Vinny's Drive bar last week, and got a16 in pizza with 2 meats and 3 veggie toppings, and 8 bread sticks, with cheese sauce for $23.99 plus tax. I thought that was a great deal. The pizza and the breadsticks were delicious. It was so good, that I went back today,and got the same thing, and I gave the bartender, a strange look when she told me it was $20.00, including tax. She said it was on special this weekend. Last week the menu, said that the $23.99 was a special, so today it must have been on super special. Try finding that deal anywhere else. The pizza has plenty of toppings and cheese, and the crust is thin and crispy. I won't go anywhere else for pizza, from now on. read more

We had food delivered via DoorDash. I called in advance since we had a large order and they stated that they could accommodate it. The food was good. We got pizzas, wings and salads. The wings were crispy which is how I like them. The pizza was cut into squares. We had pepperoni, sausage and cheese. Some of it was stuck to the box and hard to get out, I am not sure why. Maybe a plastic server would be good. The order came at least forty minutes after the time we requested and paid for the express option and for 12 pizzas, two salads and three orders of wings came with no paper plates and two forks. This is the definition of a dive bar. There is a decent sized private lot to park. They have a very nice covered patio and a dining area. Of course they have a full bar with seating and televisions placed around the bar. The bar also has a digital juke box and dart boards. It is an older bar that is very basic and nostalgic inside. This is a locals bar and is very friendly and welcoming. The bartender/server, Tiffany, was awesome. She was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Vinny's is co-located with a pizza joint named, Rolyno's Original Pizza. You will find signature cocktails, lunch and drink specials, and a nice food menu that consists of wings, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. I wanted some of their wings that I had heard so much about, but unfortunately they were out of them. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries. It took about 15 minutes to get my food. It was fresh, hot, tasty and delicious. I loved the burger. The meat was seasoned perfectly and was so good. I ate at the bar and it was a good atmosphere. But, you also have the option of calling in your order and getting carryout. Food delivery services such as Grubhub also services the bar (food only though). I enjoyed my lunch here. It is a nice spot and a diamond in the rough. I highly recommend checking this spot out for good drinks and delicious food. read more

This place is for rednecks The bartender woman was bickering with the cook constantly and calling him names [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm not sure how clean the kitchen is[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a nice hard working lady back there - and a guy named Corbin - he seemed concerned A simple chicken sandwich took forever They told me they were out of wings and then a guy came in and ordered wings... Can we start with how ginormous their nacho platters are?!?!! Vinny's is a super fun, neighborhood pub with live performances on the weekend. The atmosphere is always so homey, which I love, and the bartenders are super sweet. I'm definitely overdue for another visit! :) Grab a friend or two and stop at Vinny's. Asked for the fry's to be extra crispy, got luke warm fry's, told the waitress I wanted the cheeseburger plain and dry, and not to put anything on the plate. Got LTO and pickles on the plate. Food is the "bar-fare " you might expect but it is very good in taste and cooked properly however , the most remarkable is that it is served with courtesy and respect and friendliness that makes you feel as if you've been a regular there for years . We stopped there after a late late night return from Riley Hospital and we were worn out emotionally , mentally and physically, the staff treated us like their own and due to that we will always go back there ! We stopped by to grab a snack while running errands in the area. We ordered the loaded fries, big serving and more than enough for two people. Beers were also very cheap. The service was friendly and they also had a nice outdoor patio and a few dart machines. Nice little spot and if we are in the area again we would probably go back. read more

Hubby and I decided to try this place one evening. It's a typical locals bar kinda feel. I feel like we were the only ones that hadn't been there before. The food was pretty good. I got the tenderloin. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't the worst. I legit enjoyed my meal. Hubby got a burger and said it was a typical burger. We came, we saw, we devoured. Awesome bar with a relaxed local vibe We drove from Pittsburgh to prepare for the Indy 500 Festivities. We found this bar (thanks to the Yelp community). The restaurant is attached to a driving range with a pretty good size outdoor section for dining and drinks. We sat at the pretty large L-shaped bar and ordered some food. Pizza - I would imagine the crust is St. Louis style (no yeast, baking powder) which makes it thin and dense. It is topped with pepperoni and cheese. Next time, I think I will get sausage since the pepperoni can't crisp up. Very good pizza. Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with Onion Rings - Indy is known for the Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches. This deep-fried masterpiece was crispy and tender. The Onion Rings were probably the best I ever had. Katie (our Bartender) was awesome. The regulars were awesome. It was a great time. Great place to bring your doggo on a nice day! I have been here a few times now. Let me start off with the staff i have had 2 bartenders so far both very polite one is a bit overly apologetic when she is providing great service. They are often alone and running around but they keep up well. They could definitely use another hand most days but i am never waiting too long and they get my order correct and are always kind. It has a regulars vibe in there most patrons know each other by name. It's like a cheers vibe in there some days. I have had the chicken sandwich grilled 3x every time was cooked properly and i like how they separate the veggies on the burger so u can choose the ratio. If i had to pick something to improve or a negative i guess it would be that i want ketchup in squeeze bottle not packets. But thats not biggie. Keep up the great work me and Roxy and Meaghan will be here more often! read more

We come here once a week. My office brings in 4-6 for lunch. The server knows our drink orders and is ready for a few specials if we deviate from the usual. She is efficient and works quickly to get us in and out in a timely manner. The chef salad is massive. Usually good for two meals for me. I also enjoy the club and at times the special for the day. It's a great affordable lunch right around the corner from our office. Nice outdoor seating options during the warmer months. read more

Vinny's was a great experience from the first call. They answered the phone very happy! When I call and I can feel the great service through the phone it makes me even more excited to eat there. We ordered the stuffed bread sticks, chicken wings, fries and onion rings. The stuffed bread sticks and wings were perfect! However I was a bit underwhelmed by the onion ring portion. We did order an half order but there were literally 4 onion rings. I will for sure order a full order for reference next time. Now I am a fry person so that is always taste them first and I feel like there is a missed opportunity there to season well but I did like the portion size. We went in on an early Saturday. There was seven of us. Everyone got their meals in a timely manner except me. I enjoyed the grilled tenderloin. I had ordered onion rings. They told me that they ran out and were making me fresh. We, just as I finished the sandwich, my rings came. I took them home in a to go box. We had ordered the mushroom fries. They are quite different and very tasty. My son ordered a BLT. He found it very good. We also ordered a pizza to go. It was wonderful. Definitely worth it. It was one of the best I have tasted. Made just the way we like it. My husband got the Breaded Tenderloin. He enjoyed it. The air was on and it was slightly chilly, but not bad with a jacket. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience. We will be doing this again sometime in the future. The parking lot is large enough to hold a large crowd. The atmosphere was that of a typical bar/ grill. The music was fine. There is a jute box that you can control with your phone. There also video games. Of course you can also buy a bucket of balls and go to the driving range. It is really a fun place to come and enjoy. read more

My husband and I ordered doordash on a Saturday for lunch from Vinny's after seeing a picture of their pepperoni breadsticks. We got the breadsticks, the BLT, and breaded tenderloin with grilled onions. The food was pretty good. It stayed warm in their packaging for a 15 minute drive which is truly impressive because that doesn't happen often. The BLT was pretty good, I wish the bacon was a little less fatty but it was satisfying. The breaded tenderloin was good too and pretty big. The grilled onions were a little disappointing as it was just 4 pieces of onion but for the additional charge we thought there would be more. Both sandwiches came with a bag of classic Lay's chips. Breadsticks were awesome! The cheese is a little less melty/stringy as they cool off so eat then hot and fresh and they're perfect. I'd stop in or order to-go again but I'd forego the grilled onions next time. read more

Cowboy Kevin is literally a chef !! Oooooo some of his creations are superb! For Christ sakes they have Rolynos pizza! Nuff said! A simple rule against throwing footballs/baseballs in the seating area -- or designating a separate play space -- would make a huge difference and help preserve the relaxed brewery environment many customers come for. Personally it was a little too sweet to think about having a full pint of but at 12.8% ABV it definitely had a wow factor to it. Finally I settled on the King Copra. This beer hit all the levels for me! I love anything with coconut, having it be 10.5% ABV was the icing on the cake. I can't wait to see what other wonderfully unique beers they have next time I visit.

It had been before the pandemic since my last time in Indianapolis and much has changed on the city's dining and drinking landscape. Following a recommendation from a bartender at Sundry & Vice, I made my way to BODHI. I didn't have reservations, which I'd strongly recommend, since the place was packed on Wednesday night before 6PM. Fortunately, I was able to snag a seat at the bar, which was ideal since I was dining solo. Upon scanning the hip, high-energy, yet petite dining room, I had a sense of deja vu about it before realizing that I had been in this space before back when it was Black Market. I started off with a cocktail from Bodhi's intriguing and expansive drink list, a 7 Realms of Happiness, made with Old Hamer Bourbon, Faccia Brutto Centerbe, Cappelletti amaro, saffron honey, and lemon. My thought was that it's their twist on a classic Whiskey Smash. It was bittersweet, yet balanced, and simply a delight. As for the food, BODHI's menu is concise hitting the most of the Thai food usual suspects. I had the Papaya Salad and the Shrimp Green Curry. The papaya salad came out first. I was pleasantly surprised by its plating, looking much more like an elaborate entree with its cashews, watermelon radish, and chicharrones than the humble side salad atop a leaf of lettuce or cabbage that I've usually received at virtually every Thai restaurant I've ever been. It was just a pretty plate as it tasted even better than it looked. It was fresh and flavorful as those flavors popped from the perfect balance of salty, sweet, sour, spicy, and funky. It was the best rendition of a papaya salad that I've tasted. My bowl of curry was no less successful in balancing those diverse Thai flavor profiles. Unlike some/many other curries I've had where it seems like a bowl full of sauce with bits and pieces of protein or vegetables, Bodhi's rendition achieved the perfect "solids to sauce" ratio. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the curry itself was bold and bright on my tongue. It was a delicious spoonful. I loved it! For "dessert", I had a second cocktail, the Garnet, a booze-forward whisky drink made with Mars Iwai Tradition, Pinhook Rye, Akashi Ume Plum whisky, Veda Mushroom Liqueur, Balsamic Vermouth, celery & orange bitters, and topped with a Moon Smoke Bubble. It was very unique, tasty and satisfying, if not a bit difficult to describe. I would maybe compare it to an Asian-influenced Vieux Carre and I thought it was excellent. Service from Carli, the bartender, was stellar throughout my night as she was friendly, helpful and exceedingly outstanding in making my drinks. A definite rock star! BODHI was outstanding. I'm not sure how to best describe the place. Was it as an amazing Thai restaurant that also does incredible cocktails or an amazing cocktail bar that also does killer Thai food? Regardless, I could not have enjoyed my experience more. If/when I'm back in Indy, BODHI is at the top of my list for a visit!

Great conversation, attentive service, and my food arrived surprisingly fast. I ordered the thin crust pepperoni pizza, and it absolutely hit the spot. Crispy crust, plenty of pepperoni, perfectly melty cheese, and just enough seasoning to keep me reaching for another slice. The beer and cocktail selection is extensive, and if you're a fan of Hard Truth spirits, you've come to the right place. They also sell bottles to take home, which is a nice bonus if you find something you love. The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of indoor seating, a beautiful wood-beam interior, and a large patio for nicer weather. Whether you're stopping in for lunch, grabbing a drink while watching the game, or meeting friends for dinner, it has a relaxed atmosphere that's easy to enjoy. We looked at their menu and ordered our pizza. We found a seat and waited for our pizza to arrive. My husband decided to check out the salad bar while we were waiting. Our pizzas arrived and they were definitely personal or individual. They reminded me of the Book It pizzas from my childhood! The pizzas were really good, we both enjoyed ours.
