3.5 stars.. Food was fresh and tasty. Wish they had a little bit bigger menu.. The spicy eggplant with tofu was good, could have used a little more sauce.. The chicken fried rice was good. I had asked the waitress to add garlic to the dish and they added a generous amount for free! :) Not the best Thai food I've ever had but the overall experience and fairly affordable price point make Rama House a great candidate for a lunch time break. Great place to eat dinner or lunch. A bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it. Every time I go, the lady is very respectful and serves water when you need it. Portion sizes are big, usually I get a plate and it's enough for two people. My favorites are the pad Thai and the pad woon sen. We had Drunken Noodle Tofu which was tasty and fresh, avocado green curry was also really quite good and the sesame beef was flavorful. 2 star is not very spicy, so don't be afraid of kicking it up a notch. This review pertains to the first and LAST time I came to your restaurant, which was over the previous summer, months ago. I just never got around to writing this review until now. Furthermore, I never said that the manager was just standing around behind the front register doing nothing. I simply said that the manager was standing behind the front register. It seemed like he was in fact busy going over tickets/counting money....executive stuff that managers/owners normally do. He only happened to look up and see me as I walked by shaking my head, and backed into the front door. If you do not recall this incident occurring over the summer, then perhaps it was a different manager at the time. Regardless, as the owner of this restaurant- Instead of following up with an apology for the bad experience, you send me a personal message to accuse me of lying?? What a shame. Why in the world would I come into your restaurant and then walk out and "make a scene" for no reason if I wasn't truly ignored by your staff?? Perhaps this may jog your memory a bit. After I walked out, I went next door and ordered some Tex Mex take out. Whoever that male manager was, he clearly saw me go to the restaurant next door. This restaurant is super tasty!! The entire experience was lovely, the waiter was so polite and thoughtful, checked on us without being annoying or pushy, made sure our water was always filled, and the food tasted so fresh and delicious! I liked the atmosphere a lot and it was very clean! The server was so personable and although the portions are smaller then I'm used too it is also cheaper than other restaurants I go to with a much fresher taste. Definitely won me as a customer! We love this Thai restaurant and when we call, the owner now knows us by name and adds our extra spicy fish sauce :). Delivery is great after a long work day! We love the traditional pad Thai (yay, not the ketchup flavor!), red curry, and pad see ew all with tofu. With a sensitive stomach, I'm thankful that they don't smother the food in sauce; the food is fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. This place is one of the good Thai restaurant in the area. I like their Pad ke maw and substitute regular wide noodles with Yakisoba noodles. It's very tasty. Their spice level is good. However I would not ask for anything above 3. Reason being after 3 the spice level is increased by putting chilly flakes. I have mostly been there for lunch. It is decent value for money. I usually get takeout for lunch. I call ahead and pick up and usually ready in 10 minutes. Pad Kee mao with shrimp is the item I order most often. Noodles are good and the shrimp is never stinky which is a low bar but there are places where you do get that. Shrimp are large which I appreciate. Maybe 6 pieces in an order. If they had this same dish with more vegetables I would go for that. Place is usually busy at lunch which is a good sign. read more

I went once with my two boys and had the worst experience ever. I have a one year old who just learned he can yell. He yelled maybe twice but only because he wanted more rice. Its his way of communication. The waitress and owner came up to me and asked me to have my son stop yelling. I was in shock she said that. This place is a family favorite. Their dishes are flavorful and fresh, The fried rice is killer!! Great flavor (basil, cilantro, etc), and lots of fresh perfectly cooked veggies. Other favorite dishes are: Lard Nah, Pad Woo Sen, and chicken satay. We have our favorites, so we are slow to branch out, but so far most things are fantastic. We've loved Thai Rama House for a long time, and were thrilled when they started their delivery service. A lot of other reviewers mention the Pad Thai. I have rarely foound Pad Thai that is good because most restaurants have Americanized it, making it too sweet. Rama House offers a more traditional tamarind variety which I do like. We are utterly confused as to the less than 4 star rating for this place. Maybe the dine in is not great? We ordered for delivery, online, easy, and the food showed up quickly, during the dining hour on Saturday night. My egg rolls were still hot and the food was Great! Traditional phad Thai was a great balance of tart sweet and salt with great flavor-could've been spicier, but I'll order that way next time. The pineapple curry. Oh my god. Hands down the finest Thai restaurant I've visited been eating here for at least 10 years back when they were called Thai Rama I refuse to cheat on them with another Thai place. The food is what I'd consider gourmet and delicious, the atmosphere is perfect much like the superb service by legitimately pleasant people, from the grandma chef to the greeter. We got takeout from Rama House for the first time tonight through a 3rd party service. Good, but not great. The portion sizes were larger and the prices were lower than our favorite local thai place, but my husband and I both agreed the food wasn't as good. Both our dishes (pad see ew tofu and pad jungle beef) were rather sweet, and not as flavorful as we're used to. Last week I picked up some food from here after I got off work and it was delicious! I don't live in this area. But from time to time stay with a friend who lives nearby. I LOVE thai food! And used to work at an asian restaurant that served healthier, homestyle made chinese, japanese and thai food. And my boss and the head cook were vietnamese and thai, so their standards for authentic asian cuisine are up there. And since working there I would definitely say that my expectations are up there as well. I alao consider myself a "foodie" so if I like something I will definitely rep it and tell others about it. I tried this on a whim, since there were so many other thai options in this area. And not all of the comments were great. But after reviewing some of the commenters, I decided to take a chance and have my own opinion. Especially because the negative comments made sounded like they may not be that familiar with actual thai cuisine and how it should taste. This is definitely a great thai spot, and their prices are pretty great amd fair. There are other thai restaurants that are pricier in this area. I haven't tried them, but I highly recommend thia spot from the experience I had. I am actually going to go there again tonight! Last time I ordered pad kee mao which is a wide rice noodle dish, also commonly known by americans as drunken noodles and a small tom kah, which is a hot and sour soup made with coconut milk to make it a little creamy. Both were delicious and quite similar to the dishes made by thw restaurant that I used to work it!
