I am giving this a generous 3 as this is usually our go to spot for picking up thai. This time was uncharacteristically bad. We had not had Thai for quite some time so we were really looking forward to it. The food was suppose to be done in 15 minutes and they did have it ready in less time than that. But in doing so I feel they skipped something because the food was blah. Both my wife and I ordered Pad-see-ewe(which is our go to). Mine was a 3 star and hers was a one. Both of them lacked flavor, like there was none. It's almost as if the black bean sauce was skipped. Mine was just a tad more spicy than hers. Neither of us finished them. We were both sad. The fresh rolls that my wife ordered did not have chicken on them(1of the 2 proteins) that come in them. There was just a lack of everything. They were not finished either. In fact i believe both were thrown away. It had been a long time since we had Thai before this and I fear it will be awhile before we have it again. Food was very flavorful! Service was wonderful! I was a little sad to see they did not have a lunch menu - but it is advertised on their website? Advice- if you order the level 5 spice level It is actually pretty spicy! Just beware of spicy stomach pains. The garlic nann is yummy and has a lot of garlic! Not sure how many times I have been to this place. If there's a lunch planned at office this is everyone's choice. That's how I went there first. Ever since I am kind of a regular here. I mostly tried their lunch menu, which is a shorter version of their dinner menu. But if you want to try something from their dinner menu, they have always tried their best to accommodate that request. Absolutely no complaints about their service. It's just amazing! Well coming to the food - the Entrees are my preferred choice, along with white rice on the side. Crispy garlic chicken, Spicy eggplant with tofu, Floating Rama, Vegetable delight are some of my favorites. Really liked the Avocado fried rice from their special menu and the Bangkok fried rice. Take any dish - it's flavorful. Always picked spice level 3 or 4, and 4 is quite spicy - watch out. I would love to go back there again. Never disappointed me. It's a $$ place but worth it. Delivery review. Absolutely rock-solid every time. Last night we kept a lazy weekend vibe rolling with still more food someone else made for us. These folks definitely took care of us. Highly recommended, even after sitting in a car for a little while. Chicken Wing appetizer It's all about the dipping sauce with Thai wings, for sure. And they have a good one--some sweetness, plenty of complexity. But you have to take at least one bite of naked chicken. I could barely bring myself to change it with sauce--light, dry crust, perfectly cooked, still totally juicy, great flavor. Awesome wings. Fresh Rolls I order these everywhere like I'm programmed to do it or something. These are a little less moist than some, definitely made for dunking in hotted-up peanut sauce. I ate one plain anyway just 'cause the flavors and textures were so nice. Pad Thai Great crunchy veg, nice mild kick of spice at 2 stars, a little sweeter than some but definitely not ketchupy or predominantly sweet. Another well-done old favorite. Pad Cashew Star of the show. Nice kick at 5 stars. The crunch of the nuts really wakes up the dish. Great crunchy veg, nice deep explosive flavors from the sauce and seasonings. Perfectly cooked chicken--moist and tender. Brown rice sent separately, which means the dog will get a heartier dinner for the next few nights. I had enough sense to keep the rice off my diet. The server brought the roles, we all took first bite and oh my god, it was so bitter !!! They probably used stale stuffing. We called the server and she did not even apologize. She brought another set of roles and my dad got a hair in his role. Also, the roles were filled with a lot of oil. When we finally got the check we noticed they applied 20% gratuity. We had 2 year old and one month infant in our party. They considered my one month as well in the party and decided to charge us 20% for such poor service. Delicious Thai food! This place has become our go-to spot for Thai delivery. They have a great assortment of delicious dishes. My favorites are the pad see-ew and the crispy pork belly. I also like their crab delights as they are so crisp, light and served with a delicious plum sauce. I can't help but get a yummy Thai tea as well, even if it's dinner time. I've tried their black sticky rice for dessert and it was also very tasty. As someone who orders delivery a lot, Rama House packages all their food really well too. The traditional pad Thai was pretty good; the texture of the noodles and the seasoned of the vegetables were on point. Ambiance was pretty chill, and the constant smacking of the stir-fry pan kind of faded away into the background. The restaurant was pretty clean, although some of the seats in the booths were ripped. I went here recently and the service was fast as well as friendly, the food quality was fine, but I can't believe the price vs quantity. It would be one thing if the place and food was "fancy", but just down the street there are a couple more Thai place that are just as good, cost just as much, but you get a very noticeable amount more. I tried the beef salad, drunken noodles w/ chicken, and a special they had on the board, green beans w/ roasted pork...but: - beef salad: was definitely more salad than beef. The flavor was great on the sauce, the mix of iceberg and spring mix (both bagged salads) was a nice way to add crunch and contrast the salty dressing. - drunken noodles: only two pieces of broccoli (maybe 2.5) with very few other veggies, not a whole lot of chicken either. Flavor was ok on the noodles. - green beans w/ roast pork: I'd say this was my favorite dish of the three. The green beans, bits of roast pork, and the salty sauce went perfect with the white rice. My only real complaint would be that there were a few more pieces of burnt/charcoal pieces floating around in the sauce...very off-putting flavor and texture. You'll enjoy this place if you don't mind paying for very polite portions of, average to slightly above average, Thai food. read more

I ordered delivery and when my food arrived, I couldn't find the egg roll. After searching I saw it was laying on the bottom of the plastic bag by itself. There was also a separate paper plate in the bag, which indicated that they had put the egg roll on this small plate and put it in the plastic bag. This is delivery food so why wouldn't they use a box or even just wrap it with foil before putting it in the big leaky plastic bag?? Anyway the egg roll, paper plate, fork and the napkin were completely soaked when I opened it. I also ordered fried rice. The packaging was okay for the rice, but it tasted burned. The phad thai was good but i will say oil will coat your lips while you eat it the smokiness was a plus that was enjoyable. As for the green curry it is standard but i am unsure if it was the green beans that added some kind of after taste i did not enjoy or if it was the type of cocoanut milk but it was not spot on it was like a 75 that could have been a 100. The papaya salad was so good we got everything with 4 stars on spice and the spice was so nice and i didn't get hit with any unpleasant punches of fish sauce it is possibly the best papaya salad i have had. read more

Have a craving for Thai food and want quick take out? Located in the Canyon Park area, this Thai place serves pretty decent food and you never really have to wait long if you're ordering to go / pick up. The last few times I have been here for lunch, average wait time was roughly 10 minutes or so for take-out. Overall, food here is alright. I had ordered a pad thai once but wasn't a big fan of it due to the overuse of fish sauce in it. Not only was the dish super salty, but the noodles were a bit too mushy and dry. For some of the other items I tried, the spring roll was decent and the panang curry was questionable. For the spring roll, it's full of various veggies, thin slices of shrimp and pork and you would dip it in fish sauce that had a hint of nutty flavor in it. The sauce itself was alright and wasn't too outstanding. As for the panang curry.....I was definitely surprised at how it turned out. As shown in the picture, my panang curry order looked more like a stir fry dish with veggies and some pieces of pork. I'm a fan of Thai curry with its rich and creamy soup like texture and was a bit let down at the presentation of this dish. The taste overall was good but a bit odd. There was an abundance of cabbage mixed into the curry with a tiny amount of basil and pieces of pork. As for the rice, it tasted a bit stale and dry and even dabbing the limited curry liquid over it didn't help as much. Overall, this place is a convenient stop for quick Thai food. Prices are a bit higher than the average and if you do end up ordering curry to go, don't expect it to come inside its own container. read more

Fantastic Thai food. Great employees who take COVID-19 precautions seriously. I am a spice weenie so sometimes it is tricky to find flavorful Aswin Thai that doesn't feel uncomfortable. 0 star "no spice" still tastes wonderful. Our favorites are Pad Thai, crispy orange chicken, and pineapple fried rice. Add pot stickers and fried egg rolls (fried spring rolls?) and you have a great Asian meal that is sweet and savory. Or like some of my colleagues I do lunch with you can spice it up to a real 5 star spicy treat. Nice to have a place that can please spice lovers and spice avoiders. The seating and building are also great... tho with pandemic They just have distanced room to wait for pickup. This is now one of my go-to spots for Thai food. The place looks a bit more modern with a clean and open feel to it. I like how there's both outdoor and indoor seating, especially on a nice and sunny day. It's located in a little plaza with a few restaurants. The parking isn't that big but there are still plenty of spots open. The place itself feels average size; not too big and not too small. We ordered Pad See Ew and Pad Ki Mao. Both were so good and packed full of flavor. It wasn't too overpowering, but it was more the enough to satisfy our taste buds. I liked how they serve complimentary soup too. It was light and refreshing to prep our stomachs for the main dishes. Service here is pretty good. They greeted us and seated us right away. They work pretty quick and efficiently, and they're pretty attentive when we need something. We're definitely coming back next time to try other dishes! Nice decor, uncomfortably cold at lunchtime on this winter day, every diner wore their coat. Simple flat priced lunch menu $7.95 for most everything. I had the Screamer, 4*, tender chicken and vegetables (zucchini, celery, carrots) in a spicey garlic sauce with steamed rice. Veggies cooked perfect, I really loved it! Would get this again. VERY tasty, but like most eastside/north Thai places very reserved on their heat index, I thought 4 star came out pretty tame. Swift attentive service. This was my favorite Thai place for years but oh how the mighty have fallen. I tipped heavily during the pandemic because I wanted them to make it. They're still in business, but I don't think they actually survived. A couple months ago, I ordered a lunch combo, and they shorted me the chicken satay. That's like half the meal, missing. Their online feedback form is broken and will not accept submissions- I think it's something about the date field. I sent several polite emails and never got a response. I order the same thing every time but portion size is wildly inconsistent. A few weeks ago they changed their Thai iced tea recipe, and it's really weird and fake-tasting now. More recently they changed the sauce that comes with fried tofu. It used to be a lovely vinegar-based plum sauce. Now it's a gooey, orange-colored sweet&sour sauce with peanuts. Kind of like what comes in a packet with a take-out egg roll, but not even that good. So the fried tofu isn't worth ordering anymore. It all makes me sad. read more

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I felt I needed to leave this one. I really wish I could say something nice about this food. But it would be untrue. We ordered 1) fresh rolls, they were very sticky (result of over soaking rice paper) and not tasty at all. Sauce was ok. 2) Larb gai, the texture was a little gritty, chicken seemed over cooked, I thought the flavor was not too great, my husband liked it, but I've had better. It was served with roughly chopped cabbage, which I found strange, but we asked for lettuce cups (traditional preparation) to eat it with and they gave us some. 3) Panang curry, VERY sweet but okay flavor, but again served over roughly chopped cabbage, which was strange and made it really hard to eat the sauce with your rice -- which to me is kind of the point of Thai curry! And 4) ... saved the WORST for last... Pad thai. I could tell just by looking at it that noodles were over cooked, because they were all broken into small pieces. (oh well, I've done this before when trying to make my own Thai food and I can still eat it) but I took one bite and the flavor was so off, it was literally inedible. Very bitter and just strange tasting. I was so puzzled by how they could've messed it up this bad, that I was tempted to have another bite just to figure it out, but it was so bad I couldn't bring myself to do it. It was that bad. My husband took one bite and thought the same. I HATE wasting food, but this plate went completely uneaten. When asking for the bill, we told our server the pad Thai was inedible and after a lengthy and extremely audible fight with the cook, he was allowed to take it off our bill. Our server was nice enough, but not very attentive. It was an hour before closing and we were his only table, so maybe he was busy with closing duties, but if we had gotten any real attention from him I might have given the place 2 stars. I know I sound really snobby in this review, but I'm honestly not. I do know good Thai food, I've traveled there twice and grew up in Hawaii where it's hard to find bad Thai food. So, I definitely know the good stuff, but I have adjusted my expectations in Washington, and have found plenty of good or at least good enough Thai food here. We found this place by pure chance. It is so good we a table of 2 ordered 6 different dinners. :) We got a little too excited. Customer service was awesome some of the best I have had in a long time. Super clean place. The wait staff suggested ordering the special which is an avocado green curry dish. My boyfriend does not like curry but loves this one. The vegetables cooked perfect not mushy. Having moved here recently, just about every place we have tried has been new to us. This was the first Thai restaurant we chose to get our fix after not having any Thai for about 6+ months. Upon walking into the restaurant, we noticed it was pretty quiet. It seemed that people were mainly taking their food to go, but our plan was to eat there. The place had a good relaxed vibe to it, we were poured water and were promptly asked if ready to order. I opted for a the more stereotypical choice, Chicken Pad Thai with level 4/5 heat, and Thai iced tea. My husband had their orange chicken with a 4/5 heat, and we split an app of crab delight. My pad Thai was so insanely good and addictive, the veggies were balanced well with the noodles, tons of flavor and good heat also. The bits of peanut on the side added a good bit of occasional crunch. The orange chicken was also tasty, had a good well adhered batter with good spice and glaze. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Service was kind without being overbearing. read more
