A great place to have a special dinner outside of the crowded touristy area of Puerto Vallarta…read morewalking distance from mismaloya beach. We took a 20 minute Uber ride to have a beach day outside of zona Romantica where we were staying. We decided to leave because we were hungry and realized that one of the restaurants we bookmarked was just a 10 minute walk and decided to check it out. We were there celebrating a special birthday so we wanted to have one nice dinner and this is the place we chose. We got there around 5 PM and we were the only ones there on a Saturday but it was off-season (Aug) so PV in general was pretty quiet. We were welcome by a friendly man who took us to the top floor with a mountain beautiful view which actually was a nice change from the ocean. The greenery was beautiful. This restaurant is known for their seafood and boy was it fresh. They don't have a specific menu, but rather they bring out a tray of their fresh selection of the day. Everything was beautiful and the shrimp was gigantic. We opted for the red snapper, lobster and the large shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Oh, and I have to make a point of mentioning their margaritas. Fresh fruit margaritas... So yummy. We tried the mango margarita with fresh mangoes and strawberry margarita as well. I just love drinks made with fresh fruits. I think it was my favorite margarita of the entire trip. I do highly recommend you check this place out. The food is phenomenal and the service is wonderful. The 20 minute Uber ride cost about US$15 so well worth it, especially if you do a beach day and make a day of it.

Food, service and ambiance were all AMAZING! However.... They don't take cards, so go prepared with…read moreUSD or Pesos. We will go again, we will just be prepared and wanted everyone else to know too.

It's thicker, more cheesy than what I've ever had before and very delicious. We paired that with the prime rib tacos, it was a plate stacked with meat and 4 tortillas under it, more than we could eat. The seasoning was great, it was diced so small that it was easy to eat. I got a virgin strawberry margarita, the wife got a coke. It was very affordable.

Vegans are easy please. Give them clear marked options, even if there is one option, we are pleased. This place had a few clearly marked options plus the staff was fully aware and can provide suggestions. The only downside it is a cash only place. Guacamole and chips - fantastic. The guacamole freshly prepared and chips fresh fried. Amazing. The 3 types of vegan tacos we got were vegan chorizo, mushrooms and cactus (trying for the fist time). The vegan chorizo was the best, slightly spicy but not overly. The poblano peppers were predictable but very good. The onions with it were a good addition. Nicely seasoned and prepared. The cactus was good, we found that it was less seasoned. Just stir fried cactus. The star of all the three types tacos was the fresh blue corn tacos. We could have those everyday. The other superb tasting was the salsas and fresh toppings. 4 types of salsas, white onions and cilantro. The salsa were of varying different levels of heat and even the mildest salsa was the best. The virgin margarita and virgin mojito were great. Margarita being slightly better even though we love mint. Good atmosphere, clean surrounding and great service and vegan food - what more can one ask?

The service was incredible...I wish I could remember our servers names. They were great! The meal started with 3 different types of bread with chimmichuri dip. It was sooo good. I tried the buratta salad with balsamic dressing. It was fresh and delicious. The meal seemed pretty average. My mom got the surf and turf and we were surprised that there was no sauce or any garnishes on the plate. What helped make this 5 stars were the desserts!! We ordered the flower pot and carrot cake. We were shocked that the carrot cake looked like an actual carrot and tasted sooo good. Usually when desserts are cute the taste isn't great, but that was not the case with this one. The flower pot dessert was my favorite. The pot was made out of tempered chocolate and was thick and so tasty. It was a great ending to a wonderful trip in PV! I'm going to really miss this place!

It was delicious and I returned for it the following the day. This omelette also introduced me to oaxaca cheese, which I now buy at Aldi and use in my turkey scrambles several times a week. I'm a big steak fan so I'm glad this lived up to my expectations. I decided on a tenderloin as I like my steak less fatty and this steak was perfect. I also got a side of mashed potatoes and started with a clam chowder. Since my visit, I've discovered a new love of crab cakes so I'll be sure to try those when I return in about 6 months. Despite being a steakhouse, they offered some decent vegetarian options for my vegetarian boyfriend. He chose the beans huarache but I think he'll try something different in the future. The view here is gorgeous during the day and peaceful at night.

I was placed by the glass for the view. (It can be requested, but not expected.) The martinis were great. I got the fried goat cheese and the ham & chicken croquettes. Live music was playing throughout my evening. First, just a guitarist and then, 2 others joined him. Great vibe and wonderful food. Just right for my last night.

We came here as a party of 4 for my friend's 40th birthday around 6:30 and caught the most amazing sunset. They had a professional photographer take a complimentary photo for us. The service was impeccable, so welcoming and sweet! All of our dishes were so good. We ordered: octopus, seafood croquette, egg potato, potatoes brava, asparagus, white sangria. The octopus was so tender (maybe the best octopus dish that I've had) and the seafood croquette just melts in your mouth. There was not a dish that I did not like. For dessert we got the orange flan which was so yummy and delightful. and the chocolate lava cake. The sunset view was gorgeous! And the price was very reasonable - we got drinks, dinner and dessert, and the total came out to be $44 per person. I hope to be back!
