Came here after our reservation at another spot didn't go through, and honestly...kind of a happy accident. We stopped because it looked cute and we liked that they had tables right on the sand. We got there about 20 minutes before sunset and WOW!! One of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen. Being outside made it even better. They light up tiki torches and have little table lights which is a nice vibe but it does get pretty dark out there. We loved it but if you're not into that kind of setting, just a heads up. Service was definitely the downside. It was painfully slow. Someone would come by, then it'd be like 30 minutes before we saw them again. We started with grilled oysters and margaritas. The drinks were honestly amazing. They had lychee and watermelon flavors that day and I ended up having 3!! No regrets. For entrees, my boyfriend got the salmon and loved it. I got the catch of the day (can't remember what fish it was) but it came with roasted potatoes and veggies and was really good. The only miss was my boyfriend's dad's soup. It came out cold and though they fixed it, it took a while. Overall, the food and drinks were great (minus the soup situation) and the sunset alone made it worth it. Just be prepared for slow service and getting approached by solicitors nonstop if you sit outside.

Right on the beach, toes in the sand if you want, Eldorado was right down the street from Rock hotel so we stopped a couple of times for breakfast and dinner The restaurant space is gorgeous. Obviously, the beach is an attraction, but the regular room is also delightful and opened to the pacific breeze. We ate several meals there so I can't give you a menu of everything we ate, but the service was always outstanding the food good and the ambience friendly All of the staff spoke excellent English, not necessary, but glad to share that information Next time we go to Puerto Vallarta, we will go back While everyone was wonderful, I am especially grateful to our frequent waiter Salvador, who seemed to go out of his way to make our meal memorable

We ate here 3 years ago and had an outstanding experience. Based on that, I had been looking forward to coming here for my birthday dinner for months. I guess it is now under new management or has new owners or something. Anyhow, we were seated quickly in a mostly empty dining room. We ordered our first round of drinks and also put in our food orders. I guess our server didn't like that we needed a little more time before deciding if we wanted another round of drinks because he completely abandoned us after that. It should be noted that they were not busy at all that night. Lots of empty tables. Food runners brought our food but the only time we ever saw our server again was watching him attend to other tables. The food was delicious but it's very expensive, which, had service been decent, I wouldn't have minded. In total, it was $270.00 USD for one round of drinks, 1 shared salad and two entrees. My SO got the surf and turf special (I don't remember the cost) and I ordered the lobster (110.00 USD) but I guess that still wasn't a big enough ticket for our server. We were completely without water for nearly an hour and no one seemed to care. Someone else stopped by after we were done eating to clear our plates and asked if we wanted dessert but after being completely ignored for over an hour, we were kinda done spending money in a place that clearly didn't care about us at all. We watched as they delivered cake and sang happy birthday to another table on the beach while we continued to be ignored. After waiting for quite a long time, we finally had to flag someone down to get our check. I tipped 15% which was more than our server deserved. Was it really so hard to check on us once and make sure we had water? Anyway, thanks for treating us like shit and ruining my birthday dinner. I literally felt like crying. 2 stars is generous and was earned entirely by the kitchen staff who actually have their shit together.

We spent the day on the beach at the Beach Club here. It was easy to reserve chairs on WhatsApp - and it does seem like you need to reserve them as it fills up fast. They require a minimum $500 peso/person spend for the chairs. Chairs are comfortable and clean loungers and the staff do a great job of keeping you out of the sun and comfortable (dropping new ice in, etc.). The water is great - smooth bottom, not too wavy, lots to do. Drinks were well made and not terribly priced. Our food was just okay - we got an omelette which felt under seasoned and then a club sandwich which was typical, but with great fries. It was nice to just have to sit there and have food and drinks delivered! Bathrooms are very nice and clean and there is also an outdoor shower.

To cut to the chase, El Dorado is a fantastic beachside restaurant. Food and service are superb. We came here for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. I started with the elote blanca (white corn) soup. It comes with two crab croquettes and a dash of truffle oil. Very good. JP started with ceviche. Now, this is somebody who is very picky about ceviche but declared this to be the best ceviche ever. For entrees, JP ordered the Seafood Mix which was comprised of octopus, mussels and shrimp in a most delicious sauce. I had the seared scallops with grilled vegetables. Resting atop a fabulous edamame purée these were absolutely the best scallops I've ever eaten. For dessert, I requested the chocolate torta (cake) which came with a small dollop of ice cream. The cake, with a streak of caramel, was great. But even for a big chocolate lover like me, it was an overload of chocolate. A smaller slice would have been better. JP had the key lime pie which was fine. Even though I put on the reservation that this was a birthday celebration, I wasn't sure if El Dorado was going to acknowledge the event. But all of a sudden at the very end of dinner, several of the staff came out with a plate on top of which was a big fat lit sparkler. Happy Birthday was written on the plate with chocolate sauce. Accompanying this were goblets of champagne. What a wonderful way to end a great dinner!

El Dorado was recommended to me by one of my friends who bought a condo at The Pinnacle. We visited for breakfast on our first day (we have 3 breakfast vouchers with our visit & chose El Dorado). The breakfasts menu for the Pinnacle guests is standard but good (eggs & a meat with potatoes or waffles, pancakes or French Toast are your options). The breakfast comes with a bit of fruit & either coffee or tea in addition to brioche toast. Overall pretty good. We noticed that they have beach chairs with umbrellas & were informed that it's a beach club that is 500 pesos (approximately $25USD) to rent for the day unless you spend 500 pesos on food & drinks) so basically it's a 500 pesos per person minimum spend. We were planning on having cocktails & a late lunch which would surpass the minimum so we agreed to go to the beach club after breakfast. The beach club includes cushioned lounge chairs, large umbrellas & towel service. We had 2 rounds of horchata coladas which were delicious & had a round of mojitos. For lunch, we had fried calamari, shrimp ceviche & tuna poke. All were good but the ceviche & calamari were my favorites. The beach club closes at 3:30 PM & we stayed until almost closing. The restaurant remains open though. Service is friendly & helpful.

Beautiful setting! Sitting at a table on the beach, watching the sunset! Marvelous. The only bad thing was the "street" vendors approached us non-stop. Trying to sell something. The cocktails and food were wonderful! Had fresh oysters, oyster Rockefeller and Caribbean lobster. All cooked beautifully! The vegetables with the lobster dish were amazing. There was live music and they were terrific! This was a good stop!

For my husband's birthday, we chose El Dorado for a dinner on the beach, and it was a first-time experience for both of us. From the moment we walked in, the place had an incredible vibe--between the décor, the ocean setting, and the live artists, everything felt special and well thought out. Our server on 1/8 was wonderful, attentive, and kind, which really elevated the experience. The food was a solid 10/10. We ordered the catch of the day seafood, and it was so good it honestly left us wanting more--that's how you know it's done right. It truly made the night feel memorable, and we're so glad we chose to celebrate here. The only small hiccup was that I had noted in the reservation that it was my husband's birthday and hoped for a little acknowledgment or celebration. Unfortunately, that never happened, and I tried to hint to our server without giving it away. That said, it didn't take away from how great the evening was overall, and it's not a dealbreaker by any means. It was still a beautiful night, amazing food, and a wonderful experience. We're very happy we went and would absolutely return.

This place is amazing. The ambiance of being on the beach is so relaxing. The service is top notch. Our waiter was helpful about the menu and the drinks. The food was spectacular. It was fresh and seasoned perfectly. We started with aquachile in a Hibiscus sauce, it was delectable. We then has the grilled shrimp. Our waiter suggested a different preparation then was on the menu. A Mexican chili sauce and grilled, it did not disappoint. The shrimp were huge and soooo delicious. The stone crab enchiladas were also delicious. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

We came here after our wedding, and it was the perfect, romantic spot to end the evening. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was spectacular (especially the oysters!) Dining here at night on the beach is extra special.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Sat at the bar around 430 last night and had two really great margaritas. Then came the chips and salsa and the tortilla chips were so freaking good. Not salted either, just prefer fried tortillas. Then came the meal... omg! Before the meal they brought out homemade bread and butter and this bread was some of the best I've ever had see the pics below. My mahi mahi dish was the best seafood dinner I've ever had. Light, tasty , freaking perfect I was so happy! Espresso martini to end the meal was the perfect way to wrap up a great dinner. Right on the ocean, very friendly service! Could not recommend enough!

We had a fabulous dinner on the beach last night! The food, the service, and the ambience were all excellent. They had live music which you could hear from the beach tables without it being overbearing. Eli provided excellent service, with great recommendations on wine and the scallop entree. The tuna poke appetizer was large and very fresh. The crab cakes were also delicious! Eli even brought me a light blanket for my shoulders as it was starting to cool off and did so without my asking. It was the perfect way to spend our last evening in PV!

So this review is for the bar I was there few days back hanging out and what a great spot to have few drinks. It's right on the board walk so your right on the beach. Went there had like 10 beers lol all the bartenders were super nice and helpful. I didn't get a chance to try the food but definitely will when I make my next trip out there soon.

I honestly could have ordered two. The house-made ricotta was creamy, the tomatoes were fresh and sweet, and the aged balsamic brought everything together perfectly. It was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, making it a great dessert after two flavorful courses. The service throughout the meal was warm and welcoming.
