We ordered miso ramen, bbq chicken and chicken katsu plate, and crab Rangoon and chicken kara-age appetizers, then shared everything. Total bill was about $60 after tax. The food didn't blow us away, but service was quick and portions were decent. My daughter didn't eat much of her miso soup, and we ended up taking most of it and some of the Kara-age home. Be careful parking on the street as the City of Pleasanton has special weekend no-parking hours because of the long lines for meadowlark dairy nearby (we got a $50 ticket!).

I cannot call YakiniQ a backup since the family always enjoys the food and ordering process here. I am glad we came here instead. Service is always fast, attentive and efficient. Being in downtown, after the meal we have a chance to also try and walk off the over-eating event.
