We stopped by on a Friday evening and there was no wait. I would give it a 4*, but there was a long wait for our food even when there were no new customers. If I could give negative stars I will. The disrespect. The lady that is in the entrance looked at us with a terrible face when we walked in. We were the second table to enter the restaurant and 2 more parties entered after us. I have to mention, the other 3 parties were white and we were the only Mexican. They took the order for the other three parties and didn't get to us until they got to the other 3 parties. The lady was very racist and did not provided any service besides getting a soda for us and she got upset when we told her the can of soda they gave us was flat. Nami was our server and she was amazing! This was our first time at a Japanese restaurant. We came for my son's birthday and we had such a great experience and the atmosphere was pleasant. Not great. The chashu was good, but very small. The noodles were low quality. The tonkotsu broth was thin, bland, and probably watered down. The ramen is overpriced at $17.50 and they still charged us an extra $3 for one egg. That's $18 for a dozen eggs using their Math, but Trader Joe's is a few miles away and only charges $3.50 for a dozen eggs. We also paid nearly $20 for a small, subpar sushi roll. I appreciate the ramen artwork on the walls and the wooden tree shelf behind the register. They also had a robot that brought our ramen. The calamari came with 6 big pieces and its dip was delicious. If you want the best ramen in the valley this is your spot. Recommended by a coworker this has become my wife and I's special treat spot. The tonkatsu ramen with black garlic oil needs to be on your bucket list. The chicken karrage is also excellent. The staff is almost overwhelmingly friendly and polite. If you ask for some extra sauce or silverware they promptly return with it. The vibe inside is very chill. There are not a ton of tables so sometimes you might have to wait for a table, but it's totally worth a wait.
