One of the worst places to eat. We ordered punugulu, benne masala dose, and idli vada combo. We got benne dose first and after waiting for more than 20 mins we got the idli vada combo. Never got the punugulu and had to finally cancel the punugulu order. When we asked about the delay the front desk guy argued back and threw a fit to even cancel the order. Eventually we were able to cancel, but overall very unpleasant experience. Please don't go here. read more

The sambar was simply delicious and fresh as were the peanut chutney and coconut chutney. Kudos for the eco friendly plates and bowls. Service was good too. I found this place in Fremont recently . This is like authentic south Indian food . The dosas are different here from any south Indian restaurants. They have bit thick soft dosas which is called set dosa . The chat is n sambhar is also super delicious n fresh here . Was very excited to see this open up in Fremont! The vibe is similar to Madras Cafe in Sunnyvale but with Karnataka style food. All the food is served in decomposable plates which was a pleasant surprise for me! We went for brunch, there was no line, and we were quickly seated. The prices are lower than one might expect but the quantity of food matches the price. We ordered idli sambar and masala dosa, it was evident the food was freshly made and quite delicious, we were happy. The disappointment was in the Bondu, I think we were expecting this specific dish (thought it would be some variation of medu vada) will skip that next time. Excited to see a new South Indian restaurant opening in this part of Fremont. We tried it out today. We found some of the typical Bangalore vegetarian food on their menu. Cho cho bath, Bisi Bele Bath, and a few more. Food is quite tasty and the service is quick. They are running the place with minimal staff, so you order using your phone and you have to clean up your table too. Food is served in plant-based disposable dishes. Kudos for the thought behind this, such small steps to be environmentally friendly goes a long way. I will certainly recommend this place. We will be going back for more soon! read more

Not quite sure why the mediocre reviews because I had a good experience here. With the abundance of Indian restaurants in Fremont it's hard to decide which one to go to. If you're up to a different experience of Southern Indian food and flavors this place is for you. It was particularly awesome because the whole menu is vegetarian! Yay! They specialize in dosas which we got. It was nicely fried and all the sides were tasty. We also got this onion masala pancake which was great. The side chutneys were a peanut sauce and a cilantro sauce, both which were very delicious. We also tried the tamarind rice, again wonderful. For those who are sensitive to spice, the food is delightfully spicy. You order through a QR code, then wash your hands either at the hand washing station or bathroom. They when the food arrives, the fun begins as you eat with your hands! After, you clean up and bus your table. We were so happy to try this place out. While the traditional biryanis, masala's and curries are nice the flavors we experienced here were new and delicious. Not only that, it was great for my partner because everything was vegetarian.
