Been getting take out 2/3 times a month from here since they opened. And it never occurred that I should review them. Until tonight that is , when I went to dine in with a couple friends. If you walk into a place on a Wednesday night, and all the tables are taken, that's a sign. You walk in and it smells incredible, that's a sign. You see people laughing and chatting while partaking from varied dishes, then that's a sign! We ordered the Naga special chicken curry, the brinjal curry and the shrimp mango curry( that comes with rice), and roti and naan. Portions are ample , place is clean and service is satisfactory. Our sever Gopal took care of us in a timely and friendly fashion. The food itself, I mean , the flavors are all there. Each dish tastes unique and you get a sense you are eating out. No home style simple cooking here, the spices are intense and each dish has a bite. Isn't that why you go out to eat? Prices are really good, if you consider what other places charge for entrees. And everything comes out piping hot and fresh. So don't wait till the weekend to try it out, go today! read more

Never quite experienced an Indian restaurant with so much attentiveness and kindness. Server kept asking how our food is and if everything is alright :) We ORDERED the special goat curry, butter naan and butter roti (we went to another restaurant before this haha). I appreciate how descriptive their MENU is as they do list the ingredients. The goat was tender, juicy and delicious. Server warned us that medium is super spicy so we went with mild which we did not think it was spicy at all. Naan and roti were good. Roti is a bit more dry than the naan. Would order the naan again. We had an amazing South Indian meal at Naga's Kitchen. The food truly captures authentic Andhra flavors--bold, aromatic, and packed with spice in the best way. The Karivepaku Chicken Fry was mind-blowing and easily the star of the meal. We also had the Gongura Chicken with chilli bullet naan and butter roti, and everything was absolutely delicious. The mango lassi was refreshing, and the elaneer payasam was the perfect, comforting way to end the meal. From the moment you walk in, the air is filled with incredible aromas. This is actually one of the better Indian places we have been to. Very clean and efficient, the flavors are authentic and amazingly spicy. Be careful as they mean spicy in both senses. Hot spicy is a given as their baseline is quite strong, but also each dish's amazing spice blend makes each dish quite special. I had their chaas and it was quite flavorful, though I do like it with some fresh herbs in it as well. The place was very family friendly and had a nice atmosphere. Service was great. The space strikes an inviting atmosphere and the staff felt genuinely warm with even the owner actively seeking feedback from everyone in a way that felt sincere Went straight for the bestsellers - Karivepaku Gobi, Mutton Seeraga Samba n Elaneer Payasam. Also tried the Garlic Naan with Coriander Paneer Butter Masala, Lemon Soda n Kesari. The cauliflower remains a standout generously crisp with bold curry leaf flavor. The paneer butter masala was a refreshing surprise packed with veggies and far lighter than the usual fare. The Elaneer Payasam stole the show it was delicate and brimming with the freshness of tender coconut. Every dish felt soulful and far from mass-produced. It does get busy in the evenings so a reservation is wise. All in all, a thoughtfully run kitchen delivering South Indian food with authenticity and heart, definitely my new favorite!! Really good Indian food. We don't eat a ton of it but every so often, we like to indulge. Some of the best ones we tried were in London, UK. The restaurant is located in a very small strip mall next to an Indian food store and nearby laundromat. A Parking lot is available but lots of green zone and limited spaces. It's a cozy, comfortable restaurant where a lot of East Indian families and single men came in to dine. It felt good to know we were going to have some real Indian cuisine. The fried cauliflower, Karuveppaku cauliflower fry was my fav. Crispy flowerettes coated with yummy spices and curry leaf. We got an order of garlic naan bread which was thin and nice to eat but I would've liked more garlic flavor. We asked for dishes to be mild but the chicken basmati bowl was really spicy for us. I'd say 6/10 level. It was not mild. Fortunately, we were pretty full and couldn't finish it so it was boxed to take home. The chicken pieces were at the bottom of the bowl and had to be all mixed up to eat. Staff was very nice and kept checking in on us to make sure everything was OK. One of the staff offered more rice to help soften the heat in the chicken dish. We declined but took the raita because that did help with the heat from the dish. Seeraga samba mutton biryani was good. Mutton pieces were tender and biryani rice flavor was good with saalan. I ordered for take out and I good food on time as promised. Very flavorful and fresh. Waitstaff were incredibly attentive, checking back frequently. Their naan to me stands out because I haven't had naan as crisp and thin as theirs and it's super addicting. Overall, the food was okay -- it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't particularly memorable. The biryani and the chicken appetizer both felt like they were missing depth and distinct flavors. The "special" chicken appetizer tasted like a simple, regular starter, without anything unique to set it apart. Ordered takeout here on a Monday evening. Ordered 5 different dishes and it was all ready in about 15 mins! Personally I thought the food was delicious! We ordered the vegetable biryani, chicken masala, garlic naan, and gobi-65. Always have to remind myself that their mild spice is definitely not like a mild at Buffalo Wild Wings! The restaurant has changed the name and ownership since our last visit. We were curious as the reviews seemed to be pretty good with the changes. Our first impression after walking into the restaurant was a lot more diners than before. So the vibe was upscaled with booths and service staffs working around. We ordered the special Naga's Apollo Chicken as the appetizer, the Tandoori Pomfret as the main course. The Veg Biryani was just to replace the roti and bread. We're not disappointed. The chicken was juicy and tasty. The pomfret was deep fried and covered with rich tandoori sauces. The veg fried rice was decorated with deep fried onions on top, chopped pumpkin embedded underneath the fried rices, served with yogurt and brown sauce. They were all wonderfully presented. I like the style of the water bottle and glass. They show the new management pays attention to details. The selection of the music is smoothing. It's very rare when the whole family is unanimous about anything including my 7 yr old. Little one who has picked up on food channel is now explaining the textures and complex flavors was hilarious . We shared the boneless chicken dum biryani- with an egg for poetry, the paneer cheese biryani, and the yellow lentil daal fry. We started with a specialty of the house appetizer of Karivepaku cauliflower fry that we had never seen before and we loved. I had never had Indian peanut sauce, and enjoyed it. Even better was the simple Raita, which had just a little sweetness and a panoply of subtle flavors, and I topped all the other dishes with it. Tried Naga's Kitchen in Fremont for the first time and was honestly impressed. I ordered the Chicken Biryani, Goat Biryani, and the Pacha Milagu Kodi Varuval -- and all three dishes hit the mark. The Chicken Biryani had that perfect balance of spice and aroma, with tender chicken and long-grain rice cooked just right. The Goat Biryani was equally good -- flavorful, well-marinated meat that was fall-off-the-bone tender. It's hard to find biryani that tastes both homestyle and restaurant-quality, but Naga's nailed it. The real standout for me was the Pacha Milagu Kodi Varuval (green pepper chicken fry) -- a dish that packed bold peppery flavor without being overwhelming. Spicy, earthy, and addictive.
