We hired Jason to inspect our inherited family house BEFORE we list it which sellers don't typically do apparently but we needed some peace of mind in regards to some very ugly stucco cracking. A tenant was concerned about mold because they were having some allergy symptoms and I was concerned about possible leaks in my aging roof and a few other problem areas. I hired Jason to do a full home inspection to assess if there was any mold and let me know what needed to be fixed on the property in general. Jason did a full and thorough inspection using special instruments to measure wall moisture and using a drone to capture all parts of the roof. He was able to reassure both me and my tenant that there was no toxic mold to worry about, but found a few areas where we could make changes that could greatly affect the air quality in the house. As he went through the house, he explained step by step, item by item, what things needed to be fixed urgently and what things needed to be fixed generally and provided clear, well-informed explanations for all of his assessments. His report afterwards was a perfect do-list for me with accompanying photographs of what needed repair and clear indicators on what would require a professional to fix. Because he himself does not offer repair services I could trust his inspection to be completely unbiased and that is so important. The report he produced came within hours of the inspection and is beyond valuable to me as a landlord wanting to make sure my tenants are safe and that the house is well maintained. He was super welcoming of questions throughout the inspection and afterwards and was immediately responsive to questions I texted after I received the report. It was such a relief to get another set of eyes on my house and I feel so much more intimately knowledgeable about every nook and cranny of this property now.
