I'm so glad I found this place! It's truly a 5-star service. I had a nail stuck on one of my back wheels. So I took it here to get it patched up. Within 5 mins, they took my wheel out of my car to get it patched up. The man only charged me 12.00!!! :) Super inexpensive. And he checked the other tires and added air. I'm so coming back to this place and recommended it to anyone. They also have a shady place to sit outside. I am def coming back!!!! read more

This place is awesome! I was so happy with how they took care of me, very nice and fast. I had a slow leak in my tired, the man helped find the problem right away! He spotted the nail in there, when I took it to Jiffy Lube a few days prior they didn't see that, I dont think they even looked.!!! The guy was so nice and fast cheap to fix the hole and I am going to come here for any future problems I may have with my tire!!!!! By accident I came here because I had gone to another tire shop and they didn't have what I needed. So I expected to pay a lot for a quick service. I was amazed by there professionalism and very good service. They checked all my tired and informed me about my back tire having a nail. They fixed it and changed the other tires. I have been going to this tire shop for YEARS I love the service and pricing. All of the guys are awesome ! But what isn't cool is that sometimes on google it will say that this shop is "permanently closed" when that is NOT the case. I found out that it's because someone has been altering their status to make it seem like this amazing tire shop is forever closed. I don't know who would do such a thing, I hope google fixes this issue and the person that keeps changing this shop's status stops. read more

Great place to get a flat fixed. Brought my folks toyota corolla to have an oil change at tom's car care and he noticed i had a nail in the rear tire. Told me to take the car here and the guys had it fixed in 20 minutes. The guys removed the tire and put a patch in instead of the plugs some shops use. Only ran $8 read more

This was my second time that I used Ramirez Tire, the first time was last year to fix a flat tire and they did a great job at a great price and very fast. This time, I called ahead a couple of times to make sure they were open and if they can balance my four tires to correct the shimmying steering wheel after rotating them at Hardin Hyundai and they could do it for $9 per tire (or $7 per in my case due to the smaller size of the tire). As this is a smaller shop their hours are not posted (or I missed the sign) but they close at 5:30 when asked today. Two guys worked together and took all four tires off and fixed the problem in less than ten minutes. Thanks, no more shimmying steering wheel and you saved me a lot of time and money... great to have your business nearby. read more

I love these guys! The men who work here are friendly and knowledgeable. Very considerate too! You can take your car in once a month for a tire pressure check and they'll pump your tires to standard- free of charge. Just today I had to get a tire patched because there was a nail in my front passenger tire...$9. PLUS, they checked the pressure on the remaining three, filled them all AND rotated all my tires...Rotation=$12. Be sure to leave them a tip because you'll be back. (I've been coming here for a few years but this is the first time I write them up for the awesome place it is!) read more

I purchased a set of 4 Nexen N-Fera Su1 tires from The Ramirez Tire Shop at a very affordable price. I used to be a frequent customer to the large tire corporations that always over charge and try to up sell you as soon as you arrive. This is no where near how they do business at The Ramirez Tire Shop. They give you the respect and honesty that we all deserve. The staff went above and beyond what was required of them to troubleshoot vibrations coming from my car's front/rear end. To some it up, they could have referred me to another shop to determine the cause of the vibrations, but they wanted to ensure that I didn't leave until I was satisfied and had answers. Came in for what I thought was a flat. My TPms sensor went off so I went to a gas station to fill my tire. It would not fill past 20psi. I thought I'd have to get a new tire. Came here and guy filled all my tires, checked the one tire I thought was issue. No problem. Said Sine gas station compressors are crap. No charge for the check. Sensor light went off. read more

I want to thank Jay who helped people the day I went. The facility was clean and organized, so I felt very comfortable about coming here. They are next to car wash and a gas station. Also, Stonewood Mall is across the way too. The had coffee and snacks, I loved that they had Kirkland coffee pods, oh heck yea. The waiting area is not huge but enough. Truly disappointed with this location. Lorenzo, the service advisor tried to charge us $25 for the…read morebrake inspection upon initial arrival. When I pointed out the banner at their shop that says "Free Brake Inspection" and their website which states Free Brake Inspection, he retorted that their website also states they do free smog checks, but he states they do not even do smog. (When relooking at their website, they do not mention free smog anyways.) Lorenzo stated the brake inspections were not free and the website got it wrong. When I asked him for the person in charge he stated Erika and Ezekiel were in the parts dept. It is a shame Lorenzo was the only advisor handling a long line at check in. He stated Corporate was aware of the brake inspection charge discrepancy. If they are aware and he is aware, why try to charge a customer for a "Free" brake inspection? After leaving our car here, we heard the next day of a list of repairs needed. Lorenzo stated they believed our brake caliper was seized but could not confirm it. He attempted to charge us an additional $289.47 for the brake caliper service and $152.10 for the brake fluid service in addition to the brakes and rotor replacement service charge we were expecting. The issue is that when we asked Lorenzo if he could confirm if the brake caliper was truly needed to be replaced, he could just say he highly suggests replacing it. From the beginning, this place was trying to scam. I reached out to Alex's Auto Repair in Cypress, who confirmed they could verify if the brake caliper would be needed. Alex's Auto Repair stated there would be no need to waste extra money if he could confirm the issue. Alex's Auto Repair serviced us, and simply lubricated our caliper without us needing to pay over $800 for the whole brake service like Downey Care Care was quoting us. Alex's Auto Repair took the time to verify the issue, charging us less than half of what Downey Care Care center wanted to charge. My issue with this location is they would have happily overcharged us for a service that was not needed. Take your car to Alex's Auto Repair, save your time and money. While Downey Care Care Center was busy playing around, we had to spend extra time and money booking a rental car. (Photo on the left is from Alex's Auto Repair who took the time to verify the concern and lubricate our caliper. The photo on the right includes one page of many pages of services recommended by Downey Care Center including replacing the brake caliper and fluid exchange had we chosen to go that route.) Makes me question if the remaining suggested repairs (not all pictured below) by Downey Care Care Center were even necessary.

They check for other problems, and will bring them to your attention, to assure your vehicle is in top shape. They were able to help me with my smog check and let me know what was wrong with my truck all the way around. I needed an oil change and they took care of it no problem. Also was able to tell me which tire pressure sensor was bad and was able to tell me about my stability track. On top of all of that they topped off all my oil and fluids. Check all of my filters. It was just a really good experience that I haven't had from a repair shop in a very long time not even the dealer does it like that anymore. I really appreciate how transparent they are. Five stars really aren't enough stars for them. And the best part is, it's a price you can't resist. Thank you guys!

There is no other tire place I will ever use. I don't care if they have a sale, if they have a better deal, if they give you a better options, nothing compares to the customer service that you receive at Ramirez TIRE shop. They will not only check everything for you, they will make sure that others recommendations are necessary, but they will help you save money all the way around. My first experience with Ramirez TIRE shop was over 20 years ago. I had gotten my tires fixed and I had also gotten my brakes done the same day. I had an accident that day and I remember blaming them for it and then I realize that it was the brakes that were done after the tires so I really wasn't sure who had forgotten to tighten my bolts up . I remember being so upset, that I went up to the tire shop and they were so helpful from the moment I arrived and from day one they were like, " quality no worries we've got you, we will take care of you" and since then, and after realizing that it probably was not their error on their part, I promised that I would support them every way possible because they were the real deal. We've had several cars and they are the only ones I trust. they have always supported us and this community. Jose and his family are amazing and I'm just grateful that I can take this opportunity to show my gratitude to a community staple that means so much to me and my family. Came in for a simple tire repair from a nail. He checked all my tires and made sure they were inflated correctly and he also found a second nail on the same tire I came in for repair and only charged me an extra $5 bucks to fix the second one. 2 tires blew out and old lady still charged me to get a new tire. This place uses refurbished or retreaded tires that are illegal to say NEW. DONT GO HERE OR UR SCREWED read more
