I visited Rula's Tires on a Saturday morning to get a quote for four tires. I only went to this location because a friend of mine said he got a tired patched really quickly. I wanted to go somewhere and be in and out. When I walked in, the employee (name on the shirt said Ant) was sitting down and did not acknowledge me for at least 30 seconds, even though no one else was inside. Thinking he might not have noticed me, I made some noise with my keys, and only then did he look up and say, Yes? I asked for a quote on four tires, and instead of walking out to check, he looked at the cameras and told me to drive my car closer to the door--literally two feet. Seriously? Are that lazy? I did it anyway since I was already planning to leave. After briefly looking at the tires, he quoted $150 for one brand (which I can't recall) and $199 for a better brand. I thanked him, and then he added that I could finance the tires. The suggestion felt unnecessary and left me wondering if he assumed I couldn't afford them or if financing was something his clientele typically needed. Either way, his lack of effort, dismissive attitude, and unnecessary comment was appaling. I left and went to another tire shop where I was greeted warmly, and the employee immediately came out to inspect my car. That's the kind of service I expect, and unfortunately, Rula's Tires didn't come close to delivering it. I would never have my car serviced here nor do I recommend this place. read more

Best tire shop for quick repairs, I always stop by here for nails in my tires. They have good prices for the patches and plugs, every time I go they are honest. I had a nail but it not puncture through, they took off the tire pulled the nail and did not charge me. This is a small shop, so it can get busy fast. I recently did my brakes there as well, price was good, and service was quick! I have never purchased any used tires or an alignment here, but I would prefer to buy new tires and do the alignment at the dealer. read more

their customer service sucks here. I called to inquire on the price of a used tire. The price was decent so I headed over. I realized I had been here before (this is the only place i ever been to that gives me a used tire and i had issues with it right after). i decided to give them another shot. I get here and they suddenly wanted to sell me 4 used tires or none at all. i told them i bought 1 used tire before and another man said he can do 2 used tires or none at all for more money than what was quoted. If your tires have hubcaps and you come here for a flat tire to be fixed...... they will definitely fix that flat for a reasonable price but your hubcap will be lost once the tires start rolling! For whatever reason upon removing the hubcaps they continuously Break the clips that attach from to tire and I end up losing the hubcap! It's happened to me twice. Besides that they are quick and prices are reasonable. read more

This place is a scam. I called ahead to verify they had my tire size in stock and was told they did. I drove an hour to get there and when I arrived, they told me they no longer had my tire Size in stock . That It was sold "30 minutes ago. Sorry" Another employee then proceeded to tell me they actually do have my size in stock, However, they are only selling the tires in a set and not individually. He joked around and attempted to sell me all 4 when I clearly only needed1 tire. I asked if they could make an exception and sell me one individually due to the inconvenience I experienced and was told no. He also began to tell me that my tire is patchable, even though I know for a fact, the nail is in a non-patchable area. I was already denied a service this morning for that exact reason. My dad went to the shop to get his tire fixed. They offered him a used tire. After a few moments, they put the tire on for him and my dad drove away. Come to find out, they didn't screw in the bolts all the way and it wasn't feeling good to my dad. He went back to the tire shop and now his bolts and tires are all jammed up. Don't go here if you want them to mess your tires up for good. Update: My dad felt bad about the situation and I think the person was pretty new and went too fast. They went looking for parts to replace the bolt. It wasn't that big of an issue as they fixed it right away and told my dad to come back for a free service of wheel alignment. read more

These guys are a joke to be working in this industry. If you come here make sure to get a receipt. Verbal agreements are BS. 1) They broke my girlfriend's ABS sensor and tried to cover it up by saying that you have to drive it, so that it can reset and shut-off on it's own. I had to buy a new sensor and when I told them to replace it they wanted to charge me for their clumsy work. 2) They lost the wheel-lock key. 3) I bought two new front tires and they gave us two different tires. 4) They never provided us with receipts; their motto is, "I will remember". If they can't stay organized just imagine what they do with your car. read more

Man, where do I start? All the employees here are wonderful, I came in randomly because I had a flat and these guys help me with four brand new tires. The pricing was super competitive with other places, probably the best pricing around in all of the Bellflower, Downey area. I really want to emphasize the hospitality these guys shared with me. They told me to stay in my car while they patch it up for me. When I went to get gas, I noticed that I still had the wire ties on my hubcaps. A few months later, and I've done what I should have in the first place....buy NEW tires. The tire I referred to in my previous review which was leaking air continued to have the issue. I took my car to America's Tire and they found that ALL 4 used tires I got had patches. Not just regular patches but bicycle patches, on places like the wall of the tire which should NEVER be done. They explained that the patching process requires a filling from the outside which was not done either. This was a safety hazard and the guys at America's Tire refused to have these used tires put back on my car since it wasn't safe. 4-new tires, and $1000 later I had safety and a piece of mind with a pair of new Nittos. My advice goes towards people considering buying used tires, and entirely towards this business since they are willing to sell you tires in such bad shape, and don't mind the safety hazard: DON't Do it unless you inspect the tires they are giving you, and make sure there are no patches or holes. Definitely, wait until you can purchase new tires if you are able to. read more

I basically just search on yelp to see what shop around my location can fix fire and this one pop up as the closes. Overall the patch tire was $10 which is a fair price but they got it done quick less than 25 minutes I was out, yes sure some tire shop like America Best Tire might do for free but usually long waiting and was out of my way that time. read more

I last month came to Rulas Tires never had issues with them they have always been great. They replace the two front tires in my car but they put the wrong size on the front to big of tires for my car. Well the next day driving with my son in the car my car veered to the left into on coming traffic and I had to turn the car wheel quickly to avoid getting hit. I then had to call triple a to come out my donut on. I then contacted Rulas to let them know what happened and they were not nice about it. Refused to give me a refund for the other tire I then had to pay for. So today I went back to them to fix and issue with my tire and they refused me service because I complained about there negligence. So avoid this company they are trying to make money and don't pay attention to what they are doing. Lucky to be alive writing this because they messed up. I went and asked for an alignment and they wanted to charge me $200 for the service without the parts because supposedly something else was wrong with my car underneath my car. Which is false because my family owns a car shop but we do not have alignment alignment service that's why I went to this place to get an alignment done basically they wanted to charge us more money and get more service out of us. Brought my car in for an allignment and bought a hankook tire 235/55r18 that was in really good condition for 40$ which isn't a bad priced as used ones go for about 60. Only issue I had was one of the people that worked there told me 50$! Just for a front allignment and an additional 50$ for a rear alignment usually alignments are only 60-70 for all 4 wheels but the other worker there told me 50$ for all four in the end I only paid 100$ 40+50 plus the 10$ fee because I brought a rim I told them to install in total 100$ which is not a bad price at all but when you go make sure to double check there prices on things so you won't feel you got ripped off. read more

BEWARE!!!! On two separate occasions; once when it was called "Eric's Tires" and again today, I had called to get a price on tires. Then when I showed up, they increased the price of each tire $10 on both occasions. Once I thought was random.... But now a second time... Too coincidental. When I got their "in person price," I told them that I got a lower quote over the phone.... Then the guy went to ask the boss, and they made it seem like they were going to do me the favor of giving me the lower price that they originally quoted me! I HATE to play the "race card," but I truly hope they didn't add the "Asian Lady" tax when they saw my face.... I hate that assumption that we all "have money." But why the 4 stars???
