Quick service with a wide selection of beverages, pastries, and prepackaged lunch options. I got the southwest power bowl and it was delicious. I also got the Iced Bees Knees latte (honey / lavender) and loved it. They have all the sugars and spices out in the dining area for your use. All of the packaging was sustainable, including the forks which were bamboo. Very impressive. For two people we got two drinks, two lunch items, and two pastries for about $40. read more

I don't know why, but this is probably the best place to get a snickerdoodle cookie and a hot chocolate. The two best things I've ever had are these. It's a Frankenstein of bakery delights - a thin pie crust bottom layer, a dense coffee cake center and a Danish top, with blueberries and apple slice on top. Very good choice, if I do say so myself. I bought a vanilla cake with cinnamon filling and chai frosting for $29. I had to greet the girl working which I was surprised by since no one was there and she clearly saw me walk in. I told her I wasn't sure what I wanted so I'd look and let her know when I decided. This is their smallest location and not much to look at but clean. The cake was moist but there was a tiny flavor of cinnamon and no one picked up any flavor of chai. It's unbelievably disappointing to spend $29 on a cake and not get the flavors you're expecting. I just made a cake a few weeks ago and my home. Not sweet but you could taste vanilla and the filling I included. Very disappointed!!! read more

We bought three cakes from Ramone's for a birthday. One was a Chocolate Carmel cake. There was absolutely no Carmel in this cake. It basically tasted like a ding dong without the filling. The other two cakes were tasteless. All three cakes were dry. Definitely not bakery quality and overpriced. Don't make the mistake of buying cakes from them. read more

I've never been a big fan of scones, as I find them a bit dry for my taste, but Ramone's mixed berry scones have enough berries to keep them moist. Their apple pandowdy (think bread pudding topped with apple pie filling) is downright addictive. Their lunch subs are great. And to top it all off, and what inspired me to post a review, are their custom cakes. I ordered a cake for my wife's birthday, and it was as good a cake as I've ever had from a bakery. All-in-all I love this place, and the fact that it's only a block from my office makes it downright irresistable. read more

Located within the city center shopping next door to the post office, this little bakery is a hub within the community. It always seems to have people coming and going whenever I'm there. Yes, it has late hours for a bakery - but in a town where pretty much nothing opens early - it is what it is. I stop in pretty regularly to grab a cup of coffee, bring your own mug and save the cup, they give you a discount. As well they usually have a great pastry selection most every morning if you don't arrive to late. Bear claws, danishes, scones, croissants, cookies and other yummy treats. Also, this bakery is known for its cakes. We have ordered several over the past few years, and they are always fresh and delicious. Birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and sometimes just because it's a tuesday afternoon - every time they are always good. Try the lemon poppy seed or chocolate raspberry combinations both are amazing. This is the little location of the Ramones bakeries, it may not be much but it's all we've got. Fresh Baked Scones and Double Chocolate Brownies This bakery has some very enjoyable pastry's and everything I've tried was super good. The last couple times I had breakfast scones of mixed berries and current cinnamon which were huge and had just the right amount of flavor to dough ratio. They have coffee, lunch and make special cakes to order. I really love the double chocolate brownie (they also have a version with nuts) which was rich and fudge like but with a good cake like base. I've tried a few different baked goods from here, and most of them are amazing! The only thing I've tried that didn't wow me was a chocolate chip cookie, which was just regular, so it still didn't disappoint. One problem about this cafe is that if you don't have around ten extra minutes to go in, you probably shouldn't go. Sometimes there will be three people in front of you in line and somehow it takes around 7 minute per person. It is well worth the wait if you don't have a pressing schedule, but maybe don try to stop if you're on your way to work. read more

Don't know how this bakery is in business. I've been in twice in the past 3 weeks, and both times had awful customer service. I asked the girl handing me my drink a question and I got a snide rude comment back. My Chia tasted like dirty water completely undrinkable..also the sugar cookies we bought where hard as a rock and tasted like card board. Last time I was in, the small cake we bought was dry and had lumps in the frosting.. waste of money I do not recommend this establishment at all read more

Gross, I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte (which I've tasted over and over again at various cafe's during Autumn because it's my favorite season) and it was disgusting, it tasted like coffee with a splash of cream. I tend to get this a lot which is why I make my own latte's and Cappuccinos at home. It's almost like they do it on purpose, make my drink unsweetened so I would have to put more sugar in it, therefore looking like a sugar fiend. Never again! read more

Just bought a cake there. Haven't tried the cake yet, but was extremely turned off by the young guy working the counter. He had his pants hanging down at the bottom of his butt cheeks and his underware fully exposed. Firstly, those kind of buns don't belong with the rest of the baked goods. Secondly, it made him look too stupid to know how pants work. My daughter manages a restaurant in town and was about to mention an opening to him (he was polite and seemed competant until he turned around), and instantly changed her mind when he exposed his backside to us. Good coffee and great baked goods in an otherwise uninspiring strip mall where the tenants change faster than you can buy something from them. Fruit tarts, cookies, are good. Scones are to die for. Someone want to send me some? :) They tend to have a good selection of newspapers to read, too. If you're new to the area, take your coffee and pastry, check out the Totem Pole, then drive around town aimlessly ending up at the freezing beach for an authentic experience from my teenage years. Its a fine place...I used to go there alot...but then...the service stank. Seriously, the last two times I went there, I walked out. On sunday, they had one person making drinks and the same person was taking orders. I asked the guy if he was alone, and he said no and that the other person was in the back. I left. I have done that twice, and the line is very long, and they have one person...makes no sense to me. I can easily spend my $2.00 at the other few places in town that have fine coffee.
