Went there after a work event to get dinner with some friends. Never had been inside a Ramos, only ordered take-out. Seemed fun. Service was atrocious, had one waitress who gave the table severe attitude and then overheard us talking about it and said with the snottiest of snotty tones "he spit on me when he ordered" which if I did, I profusely apologize, but also a simple "Hey this happened." would have been a mature response. Follow that up by the food taking an hour to get out to us, and then another hour to get the check, no water or drink refills, and the table next to us making sure to take the time out of their meal to tell our table that we were being loud. At a sports bar. On a Friday night. That someone had just walked into shouting "It's Tuesday!" and ordering a shot. Just think that Ramos might be a little bit too upscale with their clientele for me. Real talk. Save yourself having to pay 40 bucks for a pizza and a couple beers and just order the Pepperoni and Cream Cheese from DaVincis instead, runs circles around the Ramos one. :) read more

Nothing on their website or in the message you have to hear when they put you on hold is correct. The prices are significantly higher and when questioned, a person on the phone will tell you that it's because an owner died and no one at the restaurant can change the website or hold message, but that the prices are now higher. The owner did die several months ago, but it's in terrible taste to use this death as an excuse, after raising prices significantly across the board, to continue to advertise lower individual item prices, specials, and events that no longer actually occur. The person on the phone giving this terrible excuse also seemed to be a blatant liar. Following the excuse, when I asked to speak to a manager, the Ramos employee on the phone then said she was the manager as well as the only employee at the restaurant at 5pm. In town for a concert. Ordered ahead and it said it would be an hour. We were ten mins away so we got there super early. Staff helped and got the pizzas to us within a few minutes. Both workers we spoke to were extremely friendly. Pizzas were soo yummy!!! Def recommend! read more

Pizza was okay, wings were acceptable. Service was awful. Came to pick up a pizza and wings. Barmaid gets my order and I'm ready to pay. Then she proceeds to walk away and talk to a table for 5 minutes. Then a male employee realizes me standing there. Instead of walking up to me yells at me from behind the bar approximately 15 Ft away and says, "hey you need something?" I said, "yes to pay for my order." Nick "the male employee" walks up and confirms the order and says," it will be 10 15 more minutes longer. " I said,"okay" and asked for an alcoholic beverage. New to the North side of Lincoln on 48th and St Paul is Ramo's Pizza This s is a welcome addition to the north side of Lincoln. Ramo's is known citywide for their Pizza and BBQ. Hopefully they will match the quality of the original location. First couple nights open. Place is 1/3 full at 8pm on Saturday night. There is someone greeting and trying to tell story of the building and Ramo's. Like we don't know Ramo's in Lincoln. This guy is borderline annoying. Even asking aquard questions like "do you live a couple bocks away? Rather than do you live in the neighborhood. Hopefully he is s not the manager. I ordered the Italian Sub to compare to my norm at the South 48th location. The hard part is that even though they are the same brand, they could vary wildly from location to location. I will have to stop back a few times to try their food to correctly judge. The Italian sub came out and it was as good as the South location. They may need a couple months to get the kinks worked out. We will have to try a few more times to know for sure. 4 stars for now based on other stores reputation. read more

I've heard about the original location, but never been. I was excited this location opened on 48th. There was some street parking and a parking lot in the back for customers dining in or picking up call-in orders. The space was really clean and and we found our way to the corner booth so we could get the lay of the land. Shelli was our very hospitable server. They also serve Coke products and this is a huge plus to me! We started off with some Bosco sticks (breadsticks with a cheese center). They were a good kickoff. We opted for the 1/2 rack of ribs and 2-topping pizza. We chose brisket and cream cheese to be adventurous. The ribs were really good, but could have been warmer. The pizza was evenly made and also came out looking great. Shelli was attentive and checked on us often. The sides that came with the meal were some standard Mac and cheese (nothing extraordinary about it) and loaded bake potato casserole (reminded us of a warm potato salad). Would try different sides in the future just to see what else there is. The location has struggled over the years to keep a business going, but I think Ramos can make it. They do offer take out but they don't take orders for a later time. You get your order when it's ready according to them. There are at least a dozen pizza places in Lincoln with better pizza than Ramos. The crust is thick and the toppings are light. They don't spread any toppings to the edge of the crust. The building they are in was a Pizza Hut many years ago. Too bad it's still not a Pizza Hut. read more

I just discovered this place not that long ago and I've been really pleased. Their glutenfree pizzas are cheaper than the other places I used to order from and I think the flavor is better. I can't say much about the atmosphere as I've never actually been in the restaurant, why would you when it's free delivery in the Lincoln city limits?? The delivery time is reasonable and is usually within the 40-60 minutes they quote you. Delivery is also every day which is convenient. The drivers have always been very nice. I have had a couple issues ordering salads without croutons, always seems to be a source of confusion. Make a point to mention each time, each time cubes of gluten staring menacingly from my salad. That being said though, they've been so accommodating! They've either given me credit or, one time they even re delivered me a new salad :) now that's impressive service! read more

Read a few reviews and was staying at hotel north of town. Thought what the heck, I like to try local restaurants. Would I come back..? ALL DAY LONG! Crust was perfect. Don't pay much attention to pizza sauces but it was delicious. My recommendation, pick what ever your favorite topping is, and add cream cheese. I elected sausage, cream cheese, and jalapeño. I give it as close to a 10 outta 10 as it gets. Very delicious and very grateful they went 25 minutes out of their way to deliver. Ask for extra dipping sauce so you don't run out. We got into the hotel late and to be honest I would probably give this place a 2.5. The pizza we ordered was half cheese and half pepperoni onion and it was ok. Please know that as a New Yorker I am a bit of s pizza snob so I am not at all saying it was ok by NY standards. It was however ok in terms of we needed something to Eat on a late night and this did the job. The jalapeño poppers we got were not good and appeared to be frozen and fried (not fully). Their pizza is pretty good, but their biggest selling point is that they deliver until 3 a.m. most nights. I currently work as a night desk attendant, so that's a huge plus for me. Didn't complain because my family and I have been lifetime Ramoes (south) fans. Gave the North location the benefit of the doubt and ordered wings from them tonight and waited an hour and a half. Got the completely wrong order and decided to call and complain. Was told if we wanted a refund we had to return the original order we were delivered and wait another 30-40min to pick up the fresh order. Not only were the wings wrong but they were cold and clearly had been sitting out for an hour, at most. After calling 3 times I finally got ahold of a manager and told him how bad the customer service was based on the fact I've worked in the food industry. Got told at 8:15pm that the wings were coming out of the oven and would be here in 15 minutes. We received the new cold wings at 9:05pm. So disappointed and the worst wings I've ever had in my life. Ended up throwing away the replacement wings. The managers excuse was that they are busy. I've worked in a restaurant off and on throughout college and if I make a human error as a server my managers have never given the customer the benefit of the doubt and made sure to correct and make the customer happy.
