Their special design cleanout system is the only one that has actually worked for my home because my home is surrounded by large fir and maple trees. Don't waste your money on those leaf filter or screened Gutter systems they advertise all the time on TV... Thousand of dollars of wasted money.. because they always clog up unless you live in the city. Sorry about the confusion. I will continue to refer them to anyone. Why only 4 stars? Ramon's company is locally based in Scappoose Oregon and he uses local folks for his Services. I love and appreciate that he uses folks from the area as well as products from the area like Malarkey Roofing which is manufactured right here in Oregon. His crew was able to do a complete tear off and install of my roof in one day! With only some final touch-ups needed the next day because it simply became too dark for them to see and be safe. I was having a couple days where my brain wasn't obviously working quite right and he was ever so patient with me regarding the quote that he had given me that was VERY clearly written in black and white yet I misread it. I had a myriad of odd questions and never once did Ramon not give me his full attention to answer questions in person, text, phone or email. His crew also did power washing for me as well as gutter services and I could not be more pleased his company truly embodies the quote-unquote spruce up factor and while it's not listed on their services it should be because his company does actual full roof installation. When they finished the job, I could see only very tiny moss on my roof, but it was very very small. That's what sold me on them. You get immediate results after the cleaning rather than having to wait on the moss inhibitor powder from kicking months down the road. Having said that their prices were in line with 3 of 4 quotes I had gotten and I was able to call someone on the phone and ask several questions that they did a great job answering. The only issue I had was that they had to come back to my house two more times to get the job done right. The first time they had a miscommunication with my gutters that was stated in my quote but wasn't done, so they came back and did it. I managed to catch them where they weren't that far away. The second time, was because I requested it because they missed washing a gutter and the ends of my gutter on my dormer were not quite clean. I took pics and sent it to them for proof. They did call me back the next day and apologized and had someone come over in the afternoon to clean the missed gutters and double check all gutters. They did clean all the debris quite well, in fact it looked better than when they started. I really appreciated that. Roof looks great, gutters look great and I'm satisfied, however I was told I would get before and after pics and it's been a few days so far and I have not gotten any pics. I would use them again but definitely recommend double checking their work to make sure nothing was missed.

The reviews were right - RA Construction takes the time to go up and inspect and measure your roof to make sure their quote is comprehensive and on the mark. Some of the other vendors just "eyeballed" it from the street and their quotes came in noticeably higher. I was able to upgrade to higher quality Malarkey Vista shingles for a cost similar to what other vendors were asking for lesser quality shingles. My roof was done in just a few days, and each day the crew made sure everything was cleaned up. My back patio was cleaner when they left than it was before they started! Communication was great and my questions were answered promptly. One last thing ... I have a window on the second story of my house that doesn't open, and thus washing the exterior side requires a ladder and crawling onto the roof ... suffice it to say I am not able to clean it myself.
