Ricardo said he didn't want to use spikes to climb since it would harm the tree, so he threw a rope over a higher branch and used rope and carabiner equipment to climb up without hurting the tree. Ricardo used safety equipment and he and his dad made sure the job was done well. He communicated along the way, making sure he was working on what we wanted. He took off branches carefully, lowering the main section down by rope. Then he took off chunks of the big limb in question and dropped them to the ground. He and his dad totally cleaned up the area when he was done. The cost was perfect for our budget. Ricardo communicated well and showed up on time. The job was to return the trees to the original topped height and bring them in to the fence line making them look like a manicured hedge. There were 3 trucks and all work was done by climbers passing limbs to a ground crew on my side. I was impressed by the organization and crews ability to work in my extensive garden without damaging it. Some of the limbs were 5" and lowered by rope. My fence and garden survived.
