The listings on Zillow and Trulia clearly state that video tours are available, but when I called to ask where we could view the video tour, Tracy from Expert Properties told me no video exists because they "weren't able to get one before the current tenants moved in." This directly contradicts what the listing advertises. There were also no photos of the exterior of the building, only a few poor-quality interior shots. When I asked if they could provide any photos of the outside, Tracy said none were available because of "mud" and again insisted that we should just pay the $110 and apply anyway. At that point, it felt extremely suspicious. Expecting prospective renters to pay non-refundable application fees before they've even seen the outside of a property (while advertising tours that don't actually exist) is unreasonable and raises serious red flags. Renters should be very cautious before paying application fees under circumstances like these, because professional property management companies do not behave this way. This seems to be a scam operation with good reviews that look fabricated. UPDATE: after reading the reviews on their second website (why they have two websites, I'm not sure, but I think it's because of all the bad reviews on their original site)- it's clear that this IS a scam operation. They will take your application fee money knowing full well you're not approved BEFORE they take it, they will steal your security deposit however they can, and the apartments are dirty (I guess that's why they don't do viewings at all). Wish I would've read the reviews before even interacting with this company, but hopefully this review deters future renters.

I have previously hired professional cleaners for 200 dollars. I own a rental property and would be thrilled if someone took care of the place like I did so I couldn't recommend renting from them. If you do take lots of move in and move out photos so you can prove your case because they may try to charge you like what I'm dealing with. Not taking pictures cost me a lot... Not to mention I had been repeatedly harassed by an unstable person living there and was told I may be evicted due to the situation.

With Covid - 19 I told him over the phone and it was also noted in the Agent Details on the MLS listing that he and his buyers were required to wear masks and booties in the house, that the agent is to use gloves and is the only one to touch anything. He verbally agreed to this with me. Come to find out the agent and his buyers didn't wear masks and touched everything in sight including counter tops, drawers, door knobs, you name it they touched it, all 3 of them even sat in our chairs. One of the potential buyers even used one of our bathrooms with the agents permission! This is a good way to get something stolen and your medicine cabinet raided. Other agents we have talked to, had over, and worked with all said - "No" you don't ever do that especially with Covid around, that there are special protocols for showing houses now. I discussed this with De Vries and he said that when he brings the buyers back for a second look he will ask them to wear masks and that he will stay outside while they go thru and look at the house. Stay outside while the buyers are inside our house alone, I don't think so!! De Vries now claims to have a "medical condition" that prevents him from wearing a mask, then why wasn't he honest with me on our initial phone call? Alan De Vries is not a person to be trusted and seems to do what he wants when he wants and disregards homeowners requests.
