This place is solid! Let me start by saying that I am not a lover of pho. I tried this place as recommended by my mother in law who wanted Pho. We came here on a Friday evening. We were immediately seated and we ordered seafood broth, spring rolls, and a shrimp fried rice. The portions were plentiful and spring rolls were delicious. I did try the seafood broth with the vermicelli noodles and it was incredible! Our orders didn't take long and the waitress told us to wrap the spring rolls and dip them into this tasty sauce. Pretty good pho place on the island. We came a few times and always get the appetizer platter. Its a good value to get to try a bit of everything. Their pho is also pretty good as well, soup is light and flavorful, comes with a good amount of meat. Service is quick and friendly. A lot of free street parking outside. read more

A Vietnamese place that opened up few months ago in the neighborhood, never noticed tbh but it's a decent place to get a quick Viet bite. The owner and server is kind and attentive. Decor is modern and clean. The food was decent, good portion size. I like their summer rolls the best from the platter, my sister loved the chicken wings. The large bowl of beef pho was big but wish the broth had more flavor and more noodles in there. Support local businesses! read more

THE GRILLED PORK HERE IS AMAZINGGG. Its so tender and so juicy, marinated meat vibes. I would go back just for the meat. The soup was nice but I felt it was missing elements that could make it great. The summer roll with avocado added into the shrimp was a refreshing bite, and the peanut sauce was sooo good. The viet coffee waa watery nd not concentrated enough to my liking, which was a tad bit disappointing. There is one bathroom, spacious and clean. Nice family restaurant with courteous waitstaff who kept our tea cups filled. We started with the shrimp summer rolls which was about the same as other restaurants. We then had the vermicelli with grilled pork and found this to be very tasty with fragrant Vietnamese flavors. Our second entree was the large size traditional beef noodle pho. And it was packed with noodles and a variety of beef cuts. The broth was slightly bland and the beef was slightly overcooked. But some sriracha sauce and lime fixed all that. Came here as first customer at the very moment of restaurant opening. Ambiance - minimal and modern vibe with some vietnam decor in the mix. Nothing too outstanding. The outside of the restaurant also doesnt stand out so definitely being where the location is you can drive right by it without realizing. Decor would get 3 star at best. Service - Street meter parking. Doesnt seem to be a parking lot, so parking is very limited. Server is very attentive and food was hastily served. Cannot give rating for service for when place gets busy. Food - Ordered: Cold Vietnamese Coffee Appetizer Platter #9 special Pho with beef balls Coffee wasn't strong like normal viet coffee compared to other places but definitely very bitter. No urge to keep drinking. Appetizer Platter is interesting because you dont see it often. It had summer roll (contains mango, guess its their signature summer roll), a small portion of salad, viet spring rolls, vietnamese sausage and chicken wings. Definitely enjoyed this dish. The #9 obviously is a staple dish at all pho places. As someone that has authentic viet food almost daily (mother-in-law) you can start telling the difference from good pho. So lets start, Soup- it is hot, which most places arent hot enough and everyone knows if the soup isnt hot enough it basically ruins the pho. But i must say, the beef broth wasnt as rich as i would have hoped for a pho place. Soup was watery and slightly bland for a beef bone broth. So thats a huge disappointment. Rice noodles- nothing too crazy, its a fair amount for a large. Since the soup is hot enough the noodle wasnt clumped together. Meat- meat was a good portion, had everything. Again because of the hot soup. Meat cooked perfectly... All in all its one of the newer pho place on the island. And I hope it would improve or at least maintain its quality. Even tho im giving it a 3 star, its mainly because nothing stood out and for a brand new pho place to just be mediocre at best... i have trouble giving it any other score. read more

Been here 3 times already and each time the quality is well maintained. I love the pho here because the soup base is nice and beefy but not overly salty (not heavy on msg - don't get that thirsty after eating) or greasy. I've tried the beef special, pork chop, and grilled chicken pho and have not been disappointed. The pork chop and grilled chicken is well seasoned and not DRY!!!!! From the moment I walked in the young hostess speaking broken English was acting uneasy and this is pretty common for me amongst asian establishments - as a young middle eastern man. I proceeded to ask about one of the items on the menu and was met with "pay first." I guess my immediate facial reaction indicated I was insulted - so she asked me what I wanted and after I responded she immediately goes "pay first." I paid and got my food of course. Delicious food and great prices! Had the hot tea to start. Ideal on a chilly night. We were in the mood for pork chops/rice and they did not disappoint. We also tried the pho with pork chops on the side. In both cases they came out already sliced, which was nice. The pickled vegetables that came with the dishes were perfect--just the right amount of tang. Loved the appetizer platter! Attentive service too.
