Delish excellent food service and ambiance. Our favorite place to eat Thai. Always fresh and perfectly cooked. Love it here

The food is always delicious. My favorite is the tropical fried rice with pineapple and chicken. I like the small intimate ambiance. The service is quick and friendly. They offer 6% off, when you pay in cash.

I was a bit iffy about coming here due to the reviews but I was so glad to try this spot out. The prices for each dish is very reasonable and not as expensive as the other Thai locations in SI. At around 6pm on a Tuesday there was quite a few people wiating for their orders to takeout and dine in. Service is a bit slower due to the very limited amount of staff members that work here. The food and drinks are amazing and I can't believe I didn't come here sooner. I'll definitely come back whenever I'm craving for some Thai cuisine.

Forest on Thai is a place that stands out as one of the only true Thai restaurants on Staten Island. Their soups were made with more herbs than you'd get at most Asian takeouts. The same can be said for their noodle plates, which I found to have more herbs and more of an overall home-cooked touch to them than most of the noodles you get at takeout joints. What truly sets this place apart from most Thai takeout restaurants on Staten Island is the variety of their meat selection. As a pescaterian, I found many options on the menu, and they even make their seafood fried rice with real crab ! I ordered a Yellow Curry Scallops dish which was absolutely delicious. They make it with baby scallops, and for $11, the portion was fairly large. I highly recommend this restaurant, it's surely going to satisfy your appetite and the quality is great for the price.

I almost didn't order from here because there were no reviews, but I'm so glad I took a chance. It's a decent Thai place on the island when there aren't a lot of options to pick from. Got the shrimp shumai, Thai spring rolls, beef pad see eew, chicken pad Thai, and Thai iced tea. The staff was super friendly at pickup. My 7 year old picky eater loved it. We will be back!

We were seated right away and then waited 30 minutes till the waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order.. During that 30 minutes she was running back and forth accommodating the one other table. She basically served them until they got all their food and then came to us. At least take our drink order you know? We were starving. We finally ordered and we ordered 2 Thai iced teas, scallop curry fried rice, pad Thai, and eggplant with shrimp rice dish. Everything tasted great but there was no kick to it. Like isn't pad Thai suppose to be spicy? Isn't curry suppose to be spicy? The dishes were spicy at all but still good. The Thai iced teas were delicious! We finished our first one quickly and ordered 2 more rounds. We weren't able to finish the second round but our waitress offered to put it in a to go cup for us to take it home which was great!! Extra star for that! A lot of places never ask if you want the rest of your drink to go! I would def come back here if I'm craving Thai and want to stay local.

I ordered takeout and found a METAL WIRE in my food

My opinion, think this might be the only authentic Thai spot on staten island. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

Prices here are not bad at all. I ordered the chicken bento meal up at the counter and it was out fairly fast and the counter guy was pretty friendly. The food? It was exactly what I expected for a $12 bento box. The chicken was very good, the dumplings were just ok, the California roll was good. I didn't expect a five star meal, but they gave me exactly what I wanted and it was a good serving size. There's no reason NOT to give them a try if you're in the area.

    ## Review: Zero Stars for Zero Accountability **Title: Avoid…read moreQuick Grill Japan - Incompetent Management & Missing Food** I would give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered two of their "2-for-1" deals through DoorDash, expecting four items total. Instead, I received only two. When I called to resolve the "mistake," I was met with the most unprofessional "manager" I've ever encountered. Rather than taking responsibility for a clear fulfillment error, the manager told me it "wasn't his problem" and told me to take it up with DoorDash. He then tried to gaslight me by claiming I had to manually order the items twice to get the deal--which is mathematically and logically nonsensical for a 2-for-1 promotion. I even tested this logic with other restaurants nearby; surprise, surprise, that's not how it works anywhere else. The manager's refusal to acknowledge a simple screw-up resulted in me spending an hour on the phone, frustrated and hungry. While DoorDash eventually stepped up and provided a refund, the restaurant itself showed zero integrity. **Bottom line:** If you enjoy paying full price for half your meal and being told it's your fault by a manager who clearly doesn't understand the basics of customer service (or math), this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away. They should be ashamed. **Never again.** Kevin R
