Definitely an improvement. Broth is super tasty. All the adds on are there for you! Wish they had bahn mi's on the menu. Complimentary tea. Grilled pork was amazing. Def worth a stop by on a cold rainy day. Service was quick. Interior hasn't changed much. Prices are affordable.

Average Vietnamese place in Staten Island, everything was fine, not great, not terrible, just fine. I won't go out of my way to go there, but if I am in the area and craving pho, I would stop in. The pork chop was extremely thin, and not well seasoned. The crispy squid is probably the star of the show, it was better than all other dishes we tried. Service was prompt and efficient. The space is no frills, but spacious.

I haven't been to Pho Mac in a few years! After some Black Friday shopping, my aunt wanted some soup and luckily Pho Mac wasn't too far away. We went during the early afternoon and we were seated quickly. My aunt had the seafood pho and I had regular beef pho with tendon and brisket. My aunt was very surprised to see how large the portion was and she was able to take half home with her. As for me, I gobbled it down. The broth was clear and not cloudy- very tasty. I added a little bit of sriracha for some spice.

Came here for post running fuel ! Spring rolls were very crispy and good. I got the beef cubes over rice and it did not disappoint! The beef was made really well, the outside was very kinda crispy but tender inside. They got the sauce down for sure. Friends got Pho, they said it was mid.. but the house milk tea was good. Service was good, everything came out in a decent time.

Love cilantro and sambal ! Good pho and pork chop for staten island. Service was very mid but its all about the food at the end of the day! They didn't have most of the drinks I wanted but the summer rolls were good. Very refreshing and tasty. I would go there again just to eat pho.

08.04.2023 Friday @6p Called in for pick up. Love the stuffs there. Nice, friendly and funny. This has been my only choice of Vietnamese foods in the Island. Been eating here since Grand Opening. Never let me down rather I order Pho, Rice dishes or appetizers. Spring roll is always crispy and perfect crunch even for a take out order. The beef in the Pho is good quality beef! The broth is the important part of any soup noodle I get and so far still hasn't disappoint me.

Cozy restaurant with really good food. The garlic squid was phenomenal. Appreciate that we were greeted with warm tea and smiles. Staff was really attentive and quick. My husband and I both ordered pho. Comes with all the fixings. The broth was delicious. I'm surprised it took us so long to visit but we will definitely come again.

On a cold and rainy Saturday evening, we visited Pho Mac for some warm pho. The owners are Cantonese and provided great service and tea, which is unusual for pho places but greatly appreciated. We took some time reading through the menu and they were very patient with us. They also have upstairs seating as well, which was needed as the restaurant got busier as it got later. We ordered the pho with grilled chicken, vermicelli with grilled pork and spring roll, and Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was delicious and refreshing as always and my boyfriend had a great first experience with pho. The chicken was nice and tender, but some parts of it seemed undercooked. The pork was interestingly thinly sliced but it was very flavorful and the perfect combination with the vermicelli. I liked how there wasn't an overwhelming amount of vegetables with the dish, which I find to be an issue at many other pho places. Overall, Pho Mac was a pretty good pho place and I would come back again!

Been wanting to go here for a while. Finally made it Nothing fancy. But the Pho was great. I got the beef. Meat was plentiful and delicious. Spring rolls for an appetizer. Also real good. Service was prompt. Prices fair. The place was pretty busy for a Wednesday night Definitely will be back

Very happy that I found this place on a cold snowy day. Ordered some food for takeout and everything was delicious. Will definitely visit more often.

Fried Calamari

Best Vietnamese spot in Staten Island by far. Coming from Brooklyn, I was concerned about restaurants lacking in quality. This place hits the spot. The meats are cooked right, the chicken is tender and juicy. The fried calamari is crispy. I was hesitant when the staff recommended the curry, but they definitely do a great job with it.

My go-to place when I'm craving Vietnamese food on the island! I usually get #3 or #4 pho and it never disappoints. The meat is lean -- not fatty, but also very tender. They give a substantial amount of noodles, with great broth, leaving me extremely satisfied and full. I usually get delivery but I ate inside once. It is on the smaller side, but the service is wonderful. Don't expect anything too fancy, but it is a quick and easy place to get a bite and the prices are very reasonable. I'm a fan.

Food was good but for the price... not sure about that. The pho I ordered was really good as well as the appetizers.

And, on top of all the flavor, you could tell it was salty--a lot less of a sweet pho--and it was amazing! More salt= ("Thumbs up baby") ...that's a Project Hail Mary reference... basically it had more salt and it was amazing! The noodles were the thinner kind but really good, not too clumpy but still had enough stick so that you could chop-stick a good bite down the hatch. Beef... amazing! Meat balls, stellar as always (though I wish there was more in it) and the tripe was good like tripe should be. Beautifully done. I haven't had pho in a while but I know good pho and I know bad pho and this really good pho with its own signature, unique flavor! The venue wasn't tiny but it definitely was limited. My brother and I went on a Friday night at the end of May and there were about 4 or 5 parties ahead of us waiting. We had maybe a 30 or 35 minute wait ...definitely worth it though. I wonder what the business is on a weekday evening in a different, more colder month...? Friendly staff. I'm not sure if this is standard cultural practice or not but my brother and I noticed someone from a family at one table pour what looked like a dark-reddish drink from their wine glass into one of the sauce bottles that belonged to the restaurant and placed it back in the center of the table... perhaps my eyes deceived me but I know they poured their drink back into the sauce bottle that I'm pretty sure they placed back at the center of the table... maybe they didn't end up leaving it at the table and it was a family brought sauce thing but I'm almost certain it belonged to the restaurant. (Maybe also it was completely empty and that's why they poured their drink down it... I have no idea why or what but it was weird. ...if you as the customer are at all concerned about stranger's backwash in your table sauce I would recommend avoiding the table sauces altogether... The decorations inside were homy. I'd give this restaurant an 8&1/2 or 9 out of ten.

Highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back!

We also loved the menu design--well-crafted with cute illustrations that added a nice touch. For food, we ordered: * Pork Noodle Soup & Beef Noodle Soup - Both were comforting on a windy February day, but the broth was on the lighter side. It actually got better toward the end without the vermicelli noodles. * Deluxe Pork Rice Platter - Definitely the highlight! A flavorful dish with tender, well-seasoned pork. * Spring Rolls (4 pieces) - Tasty, though the accompanying lettuce felt more like scraps rather than a generous portion. * Rose Lychee Drink - A cute touch, especially with their own branded bottles! Service was quick, and the staff was kind. Overall, a great spot to try, especially if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere and a well-presented meal. Would come back to explore more of the menu!

Wow, that was one delicious and flavor-packed sandwich. The roll was fresh, light, and just crusty enough to make it feel French.
