    Grilled Pork Chop Combo
    Kanea M.

We recently stopped in on 3/24/24 for a lunch of about 7 people. 1 out if the 7 highly recommended this place but that person said they were sorry when they realized the owner seemed to be absent due to the quality of our service provided by the young man. He was inexperienced, he wasn't confident in the menu and was definitely taking his time with getting our items ordered to us. The rice was undercooked and the tea was STASH tea and so those dropped the rating as well. Food and service need major improvements. The rating is 3 due to the restaurant's appearance and cleanliness. Spring rolls were greasy. Pho was fantastic. Summer rolls were mediocre. Pros: clean, aesthetically pleasing, food made fresh and you can see the preparation. Cons: undercooked rice; non authentic tea; no complimentary tea upon sitting; greasy spring rolls; no chili sauce on tables. wait staff lagged; food took too long to arrive for 3/7 guests at our table. We had to keep asking for certain things that should be already available such as plates and hot tea.

The decor is beautiful. Very welcoming. I ordered a pick up online and it was easy. The woman who rung me up was super friendly. The to go order was well put together along with all the add ons to the soup. Wish they added Chili Oil on the side (I'm sure if i asked they would have gave it). I got the Classic Beef Pho. Broth was flavorful, however wish there was more meat to it. 3 stars, but i will definitely be back to try more of the menu based on the first impression for sure!

The classic beef pho, Vietnamese spring rolls, and deluxe rice combos are all hits! This is a small spot tucked in a plaza - you don't have to worry about parking! The staff are very welcoming and there is a bell on the table to press if you need any help. I love that their silverware is gold and everything is very aesthetic. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into small details. The classic beef pho is a big bowl that comes with all parts of the beef and has beef balls too! You can ask for the bean sprouts to be steamed if you don't like it raw. The Vietnamese spring rolls are crispy and fried to perfection with a thin wrapper and juicy filling. The deluxe rice combo can be done with chicken or pork chop - both options are great, their grilled meats are delicious. Shoutout to their smoked sausage - one of the best I have ever had.

Staffs are friendly. We ordered the food to go. The portion sizes are large. The chicken broth doesn't have enough flavoring & there's no traditional orange fish sauce. They gave some other kind of sauce for the grilled chicken and grilled pork chop. The place is nicely decorated. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5

I ordered for delivery for the first time. We got the thai iced tea, spring rolls, and curry chicken with rice. Overall the food was pretty average. Nothing extremely bad nor good. I love the packaging of their drinks though! The thai tea had a strong alcohol taste, but I'm not sure if that's how it usually is. The spring rolls came with fish sauce but there was very little. It wasn't even filled halfway. The curry chicken was very spicy but it has a sweet underlying taste which was pretty good!

I had their take out for dinner and the prices are friendlyyyyy. The parking lot tho, is a fake mess. Ppl park crazy stupid in there like look at ur line please, its slanted parking lines so be aware ppl are going to have their wheels over the line and block a spot. The spring rolls are crispy and the autumn roll is great I love sausages hahahaha pause. The enchanted milk tea is fun bc of the container cup. Its wiggly hehe. The pho is good big big portion and the combo deal is a steal. But the beef balls aren't anything special it taste like supermarket bought ones. The packaging of bean sprouts and jalapenos r cute and the grilled pork is amazing! Love the pickled veggie so i imagine their banh mi would be bussin.

Placed a large order on New Year's and delivery was fast. With an order of 20 items, everything was included surprisingly. The orders were neatly packaged. The portions for the rice dishes are quite large and can be shared among two people. The classic banh mi sandwiches were a good size as well but lacked flavor. Pricing is comparable with the Vietnamese restaurants I go to so this place is worth the try.

One of three tables. Nice ambiance!

This is one cute restaurant! The place is small with only 4 tables in door and one outdoors. But it was well designed and somewhat chic. A little different from my usual "divey" Vietnamese spots. But as I always say, taste is foremost than looks. This place is somewhat unique. Manned by some young entrepreneurs, it's got class and a different take on the classic Vietnamese fare. We ordered the Beef Pho and Vietnamese Ice Coffee. The food was delicious but certainly not the same as what we were expecting pho to be like. For one the beef broth was dark and more like beef bouillon. Normally the soup is lighter and lots of pepper and a touch of star anise. This case it was more like a beef broth with five spice. Still good. Just not as expected. The ice coffee was well presented but not thick enough to be the typical Vietnamese ice coffee! In all, I would still recommend this place as it's a refreshing twist on the old menu items. The service was friendly and the place pleasing to the eye!

Space looks nice but quite tight with only 5 tables. There are only two chefs cooking so food often takes a while to come, especially if you're ordering it to go. The pricing is quite high, which customers are willing to pay due to how limited Vietnamese restaurants are in Staten Island. Their food selection is varied and takes on a more modern twist than traditional Viet. The beef stew and curry chicken was flavorful, albeit it being quite oily. The grilled pork and chicken were very mediocre and definitely seemed overpriced for the amount. The classic beef pho was extremely salty which was disappointing for its price. The banh mi was good for what it's worth, literally. The chicken wings came with a wing piece and half of a drum, which was a bit odd lol. Overall, the beef stew was the highlight of the meal and would definitely recommend it! Asides from that, the rest I would probably just get from classic Vietnamese restaurants, which will be more original, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The enchanted milk tea is a slightly less sweetened version of a milk tea, which comes in a cute bottle. Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Came on a Saturday night about an hour before closing, they had one other party and some takeout orders going. Not a big space, maybe around 6 tables. A pretty clean space. We got a beef pho, grilled chicken rice dish, smoked sausage, fries, and spring rolls. No complaints about the food, it was all very decent and came pretty quickly. Portions were decent. The fries advertised Vietnamese seasoning, tasted like regular fries, spring rolls were a cute fat and short shape (in my opinion) also decent, sausage reminded me of Taiwanese sausage, subtle sweet flavors. The pho was good, and chicken in the rice dish had a good lemon grass seasoning, while it could've been more grilled or charred the flavors were good! They have a pretty creative menu for a Vietnamese restaurant with some cool drink options too.

11.13.2023 Monday @3:04pm Walk-in table for 4. Got seated right away. Friendly, quick service. Lemon Grass clams were too salty. Spring rolls have some burnt but hot & crispy. The raw filet Mignon was good thick cut but the broth is bland. The spring rolls dish or beef pho didn't come with the usual side dish of mint leave, basil leave, cilantro & bean sprouts like the norm. Overall in my opinion is more of a fusion Vietnamese foods.

Ok first of all this place is gorgeous!!! Everything is so beautiful here from the utensils to the seating. The service is amazing with the servers being so very helpful and friendly. The ambiance is really nice and causal. I really recommend this place if you just wanna get some lunch or dinner with friends or come here for date night. I'm vegetarian so I got the tofu and mushroom pho and IT WAS AMAZING!!! Genuinely one of the best veggie pho I've had. Usually the veggie phos I've tried elsewhere will be a lil bland, but y'all this place doesn't disappoint!!!!

The food was good. Portions were perfect. I like the variety of appetizers and drinks with the staple Viet noodle and rice dishes. The ambiance was very family owned cozy type feeling. They also provided very attentive service. Definitely a nice little addition of Asian cuisine in Staten Island.

And, on top of all the flavor, you could tell it was salty--a lot less of a sweet pho--and it was amazing! More salt= ("Thumbs up baby") ...that's a Project Hail Mary reference... basically it had more salt and it was amazing! The noodles were the thinner kind but really good, not too clumpy but still had enough stick so that you could chop-stick a good bite down the hatch. Beef... amazing! Meat balls, stellar as always (though I wish there was more in it) and the tripe was good like tripe should be. Beautifully done. I haven't had pho in a while but I know good pho and I know bad pho and this really good pho with its own signature, unique flavor! The venue wasn't tiny but it definitely was limited. My brother and I went on a Friday night at the end of May and there were about 4 or 5 parties ahead of us waiting. We had maybe a 30 or 35 minute wait ...definitely worth it though. I wonder what the business is on a weekday evening in a different, more colder month...? Friendly staff. I'm not sure if this is standard cultural practice or not but my brother and I noticed someone from a family at one table pour what looked like a dark-reddish drink from their wine glass into one of the sauce bottles that belonged to the restaurant and placed it back in the center of the table... perhaps my eyes deceived me but I know they poured their drink back into the sauce bottle that I'm pretty sure they placed back at the center of the table... maybe they didn't end up leaving it at the table and it was a family brought sauce thing but I'm almost certain it belonged to the restaurant. (Maybe also it was completely empty and that's why they poured their drink down it... I have no idea why or what but it was weird. ...if you as the customer are at all concerned about stranger's backwash in your table sauce I would recommend avoiding the table sauces altogether... The decorations inside were homy. I'd give this restaurant an 8&1/2 or 9 out of ten.
