No one likes to go through the discomfort and pain but the team ensured a smooth experience with top care. I also appreciate that they take their time and don't rush you. They offer suggestions to improve your oral health but I have never felt pressured by them. The facility is clean, offer coffee and water and inside there is a whole array of comfort options and free fast WiFi. I have been going to Dr. Rana for about 14 years. I have always had a comfortable and satisfactory experience. They are like a family, and very caring, professional and happy. I had two crowns replaced yesterday, a procedure lasting 3 hours. But while having to wait for the ceramic crowns to be made, had pleasant chats with Talli, and Sam & Dr. Rana. The young man that took xrays was very friendly but was rough inserting my plastic mouth guards, used for xrays. Scraped my gums twice. Not a fun visit today . I have been going here since last March. Since then , they lost one dentist, two hygienists and are charging me for things I didn't authorize. They tell me I owe over $115 for something my insurance doesn't cover but yet when I questioned it I was told the cost they charge is around $18. So I asked why the $115 charge. No answer. FYI .... They told me I should get crowns on all of my teeth with an estimate of over $60,000 dollars. My teeth aren't the best due to gum issues but seriously? Snd they acted like I was an idiot to even question why and how that would change the health of my teeth Are you kidding me? Will never go back. We moved two years ago from the bay area and have been reluctant to changing our dentist after 15 years with them. It was difficult to make a change. Dr. Rana's office was exceptional. They were professional, attentive and very patient with our needs and concerns. The office was clean with state of the art equipment. When being checked out I personally have never had such a thorough explanation of cost and any future procedures that may may be necessary. We didn't have to be surprised by a letter from the insurance company explaining what was not covered. The staff did this upfront! I recently had 3 crowns replaced and although I really don't like to go to the dentist, I always feel 100% comfortable having my dental care done at Dr. Rana's office. When I went back for minor bite adjustments, they were so nice and accommodating. They took care of my issue and I felt they really listened and took time to understand what was going on with my bite. This office will nickel and dime you if you let them, they charge you for literally everything and try to talk you into ridiculous procedures that are unnecessary. They are way over staffed which is probably why they try so hard to rip their patients off. I was diagnosed for any and everything they could think of. Including crowns that I didn't even need. Not to mention the hygienist was awful the cleaning felt like all she did was polish my teeth. And then tried to talk me into some $60 fluoride treatment also unnecessary. This place is clearly all about money. And they attempt to do orthodontics in their office which is a complete joke. Whatever they can get out of your insurance they will. BEWARE! read more

Best place for dental or ortho services. I have been going here since moving to blue oaks in Roseville. I have never felt like they are trying to do something that is unnecessary like at some dental offices I've had in the past. They show you everything if they say you have a cavity they show you where it is. My husband and I both go here and aren't pressured to do anything. I also did Invisalign here to fix my bite and it turned out perfect. Dr. Rana is very nice and she listens to any concerns you may have. Most of my extended family has already been going here, so it was recommended to us. Originally our appointments were cancelled at the beginning of COVID. We recently were rescheduled and felt so safe. The Dentist and Doctor where safety gear (space suits), every area is cleaned and wiped down before you come into the office space for your appointment and all the staff are very friendly and supportive. We have kids that are on the spectrum, so going to dentists and doctors are not always easy. Both kids were comfortable for many reasons- the staff explained what they were going to do, they were patient with all their questions or concerns, there is a screen in front of them (you) that you can watch movies, listen to music etc. and they communicated throughout the appointment to make sure they felt ok. The appointment/exam/cleaning was a pleasant experience. At the end, the doctor/dentist went over all concerns, set up a phase plan to address them and made sure you had all the information needed. Nothing felt pushed about having to get things done and there were options. I am so glad that we are using Rana Dental for our dental needs. read more

Today was my first visit to the office after reading the positive reviews for the purpose of getting my teeth cleaned. They scheduled me for an hour, but refused to clean my teeth. The front staff is new, the chair I sat in was torn badly, their x-ray machine was antiquated, and only an associate dentist was on staff among one or two hygienists. I was not impressed. Then, Angelica proceeded to tell me in a condescending tone that the hour appt is to "get to know me" and required by law after I asked why they couldn't take 15 minutes for plaque removal, brushing, and flossing. I asked if she read my paperwork because it has everything you need to know and I shared I don't get cavities, no medical history, nothing hurting... I just want my twice yearly dental cleaning which is what I asked for when I scheduled this appt... there's nothing to talk about. She then shared that perhaps this was not the right fit for me. We went to this dentist sight unseen because we didn't have a lot of options with the crappy state of Ca plan that I was stuck with. (note:They no longer accept DeltaCare USA, but DO accept regular Delta Dental) I am so glad we switched! Dr Rana and her staff are so friendly and helpful- great for adults and children. She is very thorough and answers every question in detail. The waiting room shows oral health videos to keep the kids occupied. They have fantastic new modern equipment- digital xrays, mouth-cams, paperless registration. I especially loved my exam with a small pen-sized camera. You get the results instantly on the monitor overhead while you are still in the chair. You can see with your own eyes, the problem areas the dentist sees. And when I brought up a question about my son's exam on an earlier appointment, she could pull up the photo of his tooth within seconds. Fantastic! I can't recommend them enough. It took 2 months to correct with pain slowly dissipating. Extremely poor communication by the office staff. I just moved to the area so I looked online for a dentist and ended up going here. They told me I needed to have 7 fillings. I haven't had so much as a cavity in years, so that seemed odd to me. I went to another dentist for a second opinion who told me I didn't need a single filling. This other dentist reviewed the x-rays that Rana Dental took and told me my teeth were perfectly healthy. I've had bad anxiety about going to the dentist for years because of some really bad experiences, but Dr. Rana and her staff made feel comfortable and relaxed. This dentist is interested in money only. She will recommend the most expensive service and will continue to pressure even when the patient asks for lower priced options. She referred my husband to an oral surgeon who wanted to charge $2,000. for the pulling of a small tooth. I led my him out before she finished her fancy presentation for pulling a little tooth for $2000! There was no infection. The tooth wasn't bothering him. I reported back to Dr. Rana and she said that he didn't have to have the procedure! She sent my spouse for unnecessary surgery!!! An added note to this story is the oral surgeon called my house and told me she could pull the tooth for $150. I don't think the two of these dental professionals were acting in good faith. The front office is incompetent and their record keeping is horrible. Nov. 2016 I had email correspondence with Lacey regarding sealant that one of my sons supposedly needed. I was very confused by this email because my son, a few month's prior had already had the sealant put on. I informed her of this and she verified that I was correct and apologized for the error. Within that same email correspondence, I asked to reschedule my dental appointment for a time that I would be able to have myself and my children all attend at the same time. In email, an appointment time was agreed upon and confirmed. Here we are, Feb. 2017, a couple days before my appointment and I get a text confirming the appointment for the old appointment date and time. When I spoke with the front office, I informed them that I had correspondence confirming the new date and time and I forwarded it to them. Unfortunately "they aren't able to accommodate that day and time now" and they wanted to reschedule my appointment. Needless to say, I'm no longer a patient of theirs. Like most mom's, I have a very busy schedule and don't need to be wasting my time with a dental office that isn't organized. If you're unable to keep accurate records of dental work in addition to keeping your calendar in order, you're not the right dentist office for me. read more

If there is anything wrong, raise my left hand. I watched Netflix the whole time, too, on the swivel TV provided for me.
