"Brown stew chicken" but it's red and overly sweet
    Kay L.

I've purchased breakfast from here previously and was disappointed with the portion. I ordered callaloo and salt fish and received 2 tablespoons full and 3 fried dumpling for almost 9 dollars. This time I decided to try the food. The brown stew chicken wasn't brown. It was red and sweet. I had to call and ask if it was barbecue chicken. The soup was also extremely watery and barely had any food. The food was also very oily. I won't be back. They might be Jamaican but the food is not authentic.

Good delicious home cooked food at a reasonable price and convenient location- kinda slow service but like we say "soon come"

The service is distracted. I ordered, but missed lots of part of the order. No attention to details. But the food was good.

Their fries are too thick and tasted old. Like if you don't eat them fresh out the fryer they start going hard because of their thickness. I also wasn't a fan of whatever seasoning they put on the fries. As far as the burger itself, I've had better smash burgers elsewhere. While it was the highlight of my meal. I think other places do a better job of them. All in all, I personally wouldn't purchase it again but I wouldn't be opposed to eating it if someone else does, if that makes sense? Lol it's just okay in my eyes.

I don't know if the oil was fresh today or what but everything was really good. It wasn't greasy or oily, but here comes the downside. The burger is as thin as it gets like it almost feels as though the bread to burger ratio does not add up now granted I got the $10 lunch special so it's a single Patty and maybe a double patty would fill somebody up and add a little bit more weight to the burger, but it also didn't taste very seasoned either. It was truly a mediocre experience and I hate to say that the sauce also did not live up to the hype and I wanted this to be a really cleaner version of five guys, but sadly did not with that being sad. I would come back to try the chicken tenders and the lemonade and the banana pudding, but the burger was really a letdown the space though is beautiful, clean new spacious lots of seating

This KFC, or rather Korean Fried Chicken place, opened up back in April on 1st Avenue, with a new…read moreone having very recently opened on 2nd Ave and 73rd. I went here a while back to order lunch for takeout, and it was pretty good. After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.

My first ever order of Boong's wings, since wings are hands-on, was a bit messy, but oh sooo good, and worth it. LOL But, as I write this, I realize that the boneless chicken pieces I have ordered twice, are not messy, even tho I'm hands-on with that meal, too. LOL. so, I could eat those in the shop, and not feel like my hands are a total mess. SERVICE is friendly and helpful. ASK if you have questions. :) I've had the chicken wings, and the boneless fried chicken. I like the sauce choices, and the complimentary small container of kimchi . You need to ask for it if you want it. And, right there!! Boom!! That's a BENEFIT OF READING YELP REVIEWS. Right?!! :) That part of my take-out container that is open, is open for a reason--to keep the crunchiness of the chicken. If closed, the heat from the food would make it less crunchy. As if steaming it. So, the restaurant gives you your takeout container with one part open. Make sure it stays open. I still have to try the ramen, because I'm curious about the machine -see my photos--the machine helps you prepare your ramen sold in the colorful packaged ramen available in the shop. There is a MILD-SPICY-EXTRA SPICY. SELECTION. See my photos of the COLORFUL RAMEN WALL. There is seating available inside-about 6 tables. I'll update when I try the ramen, and I'll enjoy it inside the shop.
