Been craving pizza like this and Ranch PDX DELIVERED. Coming from the Bay Area $6 for a quarter pie and a side of (delicious) ranch is a steal. Their ranch has a nice dill flavor, which I'm normally not a fan of but this was very tasty. Complimented the pizza perfectly. I don't eat meat often but pepperoni pizza is my weakness, they were perfectly cooked with a slight crunch. 10/10 would highly recommend! There is no seating currently due to COVID but there is a Brewery right around the corner, so grab a slice and a beer and you are good to go! read more

This pizza is hands down one of the best pizzas I've had in Portland, and I would be remiss to not mention that the breadsticks are an absolute must as well. The crust is crispy, as are the pepperonis and I couldn't get enough. Dare I say, it was even better heated up in the oven the next day. Definitely use up that side of ranch, and maybe even consider buying extra to take home with you, you will not regret it! The only thing I would suggest is an email confirmation with online orders, I love that they offer online orders to make it easier but just to limit running in to people in the entrance in a COVID world it would be awesome to get a confirmation on what time to come in to pickup. This particular location is a little confusing as of late. The hours are erratic. Last we were aware they were closed on Thursday and Friday, which is... not a great day to close a pizza joint. And now it looks like it's closed on Sunday when that wasn't previously stated? The food is unbelievably good, and the staff is friendly. Without consistent hours we will have to find a new regular pizza a place. We are deeply disappointed in this lack of consistency. The only reason I'm leaving two stars is because of the food. I desperately want to leave one due to how erratic the hours are recently at this location. read more

I have searched high and low for a great pizza in town and this place is it! The thin wood fire crust you find at a lot places is tasty, but that just isn't what I'm thinking of when I'm craving pizza. The pepperonis were small and crisp like they should be, they were in abundance on the pizza, and all of the other flavors brought it all together. There was good cheese, but not too much, and the crust was like the best focaccia I've ever had. And while I'm not traditionally a ranch with pizza person, I had to give it a try here and it was fresh and flavorful (actually the best ranch dressing I've ever had). I've been craving good pizza for awhile and decided to grab some pizza in Portland.. I got two quarter pie, one pepperoni and one #4. Both were very good. I love the deep dish style, very filling for a quarter pie, make a great quick lunch or grab for dinner! There's a bit of a crunch on the outside, great soft, chewy texture for the dough bread. I'm a sucker for basil, so with basil on topping definitely add that earthy herb freshness! I love their ranch, super tasty dill/chive ranch. WOW. I search for Detroit style pizza in every city I go to, and I thought I had had the best. Ranch PDX might have just become my new favorite ever. This pizza is the bomb. Everything is fresh and flavorful, and the crust is perfectly crunchy. They were offering takeout only due to covid, so we ordered online and picked up at the store. I do not ever eat ranch with pizza, but I tried theirs because of reviews saying it was amazing. Make SURE you try the ranch as it complements the pizza perfectly. I'm not a huge fan of deep dish pizza, the thinner and crispier the crust, the better. Ranch has done it right. The crust is not at all doughy. It's light and airy with crispy cheese baked around the edges. They have limited options, 4 choices, two are veg and two with meat. Overall, pretty darn good. Good pizza at this new Ranch Pizza location. The crust was slightly crispy and the cheese blend it was really good on my cheese slice. All individual slices of pizza come with their specialty ranch and as a native Midwesterner. they are really speaking my language! However, the pizza was a little on the cold side and honestly, the individual slices are overpriced. The food itself is good and I'm sure will continue to improve the longer they are open. I'm sure the cold pizza was just part of opening week adjustments, so I'm definitely going to give them another try. Drink selection includes beer, cocktails and wine. The food options include individual slices, whole pizza and sides like salads, breadsticks and an antipasta plate. I visited the new Dekum location and there was already a steady crowd of people checking it out. This business location has been empty since the old gelato place moved out. It was good to see it being put to use and not just sitting vacant.There's three booths you can sit at outside, so it's great if you have a dog or if it's a nice day. Top notch ingredients lay the foundation for these pies that keep my crave coming back. Excellent thick crust and tasty sauces. My go to's are the pepperoni and the Hawaiian versions. One of our favorite pizza places in Portland!! We always get number 4 with extra side of ranch, and sometimes garlic bread. We dip the pizza with ranch and omg it's so good! Add some beer with that, it's game over! We usually get leftovers (for two of us), to get us another meal the next day. Still very delicious even when reheated! My husband came upon Ranch on his own and insisted I try it the next time we were in the neighborhood together. Thankfully we live where we do because we'd be here on the daily and most likely 20 lbs heavier if we didn't. Their pan pizzas are made thick and cooked to perfection as well as sliced in squares. I always forget one quarter of the pie is technically two slices because the square is cut in half diagonally. One quarter is plenty filling. Their homemade ranch dipping sauce completes the slice and is almost better than the pizza. Almost. We're fans of cheese ($5) and pepperoni ($6) so we've only tried those two. Our friend ordered Hawaiian ($7) and it looked better than any Hawaiian pizza we've seen. We'll try that one next time. Ranch does have a lunch deal from open to 5pm which includes a quarter pie (cheese or pepperoni only), small salad, and a soda for just $10 or upgrade to beer or wine for an extra $4. There's also happy hour beer, wine, and Montucky sold for a $1 less and $9 pep or cheese and drink. Their pizza is delicious and the price is just right which is why we make an effort to drive here at least once a month. Seriously make the effort. You won't be disappointed. read more

My life is forever changed. This is honestly probably the best pizza I have ever had (and my dining buddy agreed). It's soft, yet crunchy, so flavorful, but not so over-powering that you can't have a few slices. We got a pie with half pepperoni, half Number Four. Last week I ordered delivery as a little comfort food on one of those rainy days. I was So excited to dog into it but It just wasn't good. The crust was so burnt that it was hard to bite into, and it was sooo salty. Is it possible to have too much pepperoni on a pizza? Yes it is. It's hard to impress me when it comes to pizza. Pizza is just something I do. It would be like trying to impress the late great Hugh Heffner with any naked chick out there. So when I saw their list of pizzas and came to their Hawaiian pizza...that had spam on it, I was floored! I mean the other toppings were pretty legit too...pineapple, scallions and chili oil all can hold on their own with any other protein but we're talking about spam! I didn't care that I was all by myself and that I had to order a whole pizza just to get it, I knew I was going to eat this square deep dish pizza no matter what! I was happy to see a new local place pop up next to Tamale Boy, where a gelato place used to be. I must admit I am not a huge pizza eater , and I had never previously eaten ranch dressing with pizza. The salad I ordered was really good and I wish I had stopped there. This Cesar salad was no Costco shortcut, it wa house made and delicious . Breadsticks were good but the marinara dipping sauce very bland. The pizza was thick crust, and in the case of my pizza , was very doughy and uncooked inside. I did not know if this was a style choice or just bad luck. I ordered a cheese pizza, but only a light sprinkling of cheese lay atop my pile of dough. I absolutely loved their pizza! I got the number 4. I think what makes this pizza is the dough. Then there's the amazing charred cheese crust on the edges. Also, there toppings are a perfect amount sprinkled all over the pizza. Not too overwhelming, but enough for every bite. Now whenever I CRAVE pizza, it's this place. However, about their ranch; it's good, but it's ranch. Don't get me wrong, I almost always dip my pizza in ranch. But, in my opinion it was just good ranch. Exceptional pizza. Just exceptional. I am normally a thin crust kind of guy, but will totally chow down on some Ranch pizza whenever possible. These pies are one foot by one foot square, semi thick crust. We've had the "Meat Tornado" 3x now, which is pepperoni, bacon, house-made Italian sausage, whole milk aged mozzarella, red sauce, Pecorino-Romano and fresh basil. We've had the "#4" twice - Sausage, ricotta, Calabrian chilies, whole milk aged mozzarella, red sauce, Pecorino Romano and fresh basil. The "Meat Tornado" feels like a classic meat lovers kind of pie, and it is super tasty. The "#4" is really a unique take. The surprise element here, I think, are the Calabrian chilies. I don't believe I've ever had these before and they really elevate this pie to a new level. They aren't super spicy, but you might just have some flop sweat on the old noggin' before you are done. Also- pies here come with sides of Ranch, cuz, you know... its the name of the place. And I'm not normally a Ranch aficionado, but it really compliments the pizza nicely here. Delicious! High recommend! We ordered the radicchio Caesar salad, a full pie with pepperoni, olives and sausage, and a 1/4 of their special pie. My son sad "this salad is REALLY good!" after one bite. Both pizzas were yummy there and still yummy the next day (reheated in the oven for 10 mins at 375°F). We particularly loved that the olives were not sliced black olives, but rather a mix of coarse chopped green Spanish olives and brown kalamata olives. Their house ranch was super tasty too! Quite literally the best, most flavorful and delicious pizza! I live out of state and make it a priority to get Ranch PDX each time I visit. It's turned into the first stop after I get off the plane. Nice little neighborhood pizza spot in Portland. They have a cool lunch special for $10 a slice of square pizza and an option for salad. The pizza is very flavorful as well as the salad. All of the pizza comes with a side of homemade ranch "hence" the name. I opted in for the pepperoni and the Caesar salad and iced tea.
