    #4 Whole Pie - DEKUM

10/10 would come back every day of the week, crispy crust and soft center. Nice service my new favorite pizza

It's just phenomenal pizza. The care they put into the toppings is next level. It's not just canned pineapple, it's hand cut and drained - non-soggy pineapple. It's not just ranch, it's homemade and garlicky-ive yet to find better. They next-level every ingredient they add to your pizza. They don't skimp. Not on quality or quantity. If you like Detroit Style pizza, I'm not sure you'll find better on the West Coast.

If you don't like ranch on your pizza, Ranch will change your mind. Probably one of the best Sicilian/Detroit-style pizzas I've had in Portland. I ordered the #4 and the combo of sausage, ricotta, peppers, and basil was packed with flavor with a nice little kick of heat. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the crust was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.

Wow, this bad boy was serious. When they handed me this box I thought they handed me a box full of encyclopedias. To my surprise there was a pizza in there. Also to my surprise, the pizza was fantastic. It's a heavy and filling pizza. Hunker down and be ready to stuff yourself. This had everything I wanted. It's a Detroit style situation but more dense. It's the real deal. That's all I'll say. I don't need to get into much more detail (4.7 Stars)

Detroit style pizza with at least two locations, but a little bit on the higher end of pricing. I ordered online and it said it would be ready quicker than I expected, nice! You can choose quarter, half, or full pies. I got a half and half pie. "Hawaiian" split with "#4" Of course I added two ranch! I said to myself 'it better be good with this name'! It was delicious! They even hooked it up ;) much appreciated!! The pizza is phenomenal! Thick, crispy, buttery crust with quality ingredients smothering the top! Not all may love it, but the pineapple is super fresh! Watch out for the jalapeños, you are going to need that ranch! I even got a message once ready for pickup.

Hands down, the best pizza I've eaten in Portland. I almost dropped the box because of how crazy heavy the pizza was, and yet, somehow, the Sicilian-style pizza is crazy light. You can eat a ton without feeling stuffed. The sauce is rich and flavorful and it has the perfect combination of cheese. I am normally not a fan of crust, but this pizza takes all of the toppings to the edge, and, with the way it's cooked, the crust crispy, but still airy. Ironically, with this pizza, it's my favorite part! Erg, maybe it's my favorite part of the pizza specifically, because the real winner is their ranch dressing. It's insanely flavorful, and seasoned just right. It's so good, they even sell it by itself! I highly recommend you give them a try.

Picked up a pizza and it literally had NO cheese on it. We deconstructed the the entire pie, not a sliver of cheese. SO disappointing for nearly $40 bucks.

So glad I finally tried Ranch. It is rave worthy! Beware of the Calabrian peppers, maybe ask for less. The crust is perfectly crisp. Service was prompt. Thankfully went on off time and day (Wednesday evening). No one was in there, which was perfect for getting our order quickly.

Number Four {sausage, ricotta, and chilies)

5/5 would recommend. This place exceeded my expectations. Delicious Detroit style pizza, hefty portions, and perfect for sharing! Great price ($9.50 - price will vary depending on pizza type). Although I felt like their flavor options were very limited. I ended up ordering the 2 quarter size Number Four (sausage, ricotta, chilies). The pizza was a soft focaccia like bread. Lots of toppings. Super cheesy and paired with the free house made ranch was absolutely delicious. I even had leftovers! Service was speedy quick! Staff were helpful and nice. Ambiance was inviting. I would def come back!

The #4 was absolutely delicious. Usually don't like thick crust pizza but this was the exception.

We're talking "Fred Meyer cheese counter" quality. Nothing bad, but just not great. The assortment of "dried fruit" was a small cup of dried cranberries. Meh. The real issue I have regarding our visit was the automatic 20% gratuity. I really hate this required tipping movement within the restaurant industry. I do wish they would just raise the prices and leave the tipping to me and my server to hash out. Sometimes the service isn't worth 20% of my bill. Really. Normally, there is a notice in Open Table or on the venue's website to alert of a required tipping policy. I saw neither prior to our arrival. In fact, I didn't notice any warning on the menu either but it was dark in the lounge and I may have missed the small print. I typically avoid restaurants requiring a service fee or mandatory 20% tip. This time they got me but I doubt we'll be back.

Willful Wine at The Grant House ended up giving us one of the sweetest date nights we've had in a…read morelong time and we didn't even order wine. The Grant House is the oldest residence on Officers Row, originally built in the mid-1800s as part of the Fort Vancouver military community. You can feel that history the moment you walk in! The tall windows, the creaking wood floors, the way the rooms still hold that old-world dignity. The house was originally built with logs but then replaced. But from the looks of it some was preserved from the inside, which you can get a sneak peek when walking out of the bathroom and back into the dining space. For drinks, I had their cider, my fiancé chose a zero-proof drink, and both were delicious. My cider was bright, fruity and crisp, and his drink tasted thoughtfully layered, not sugary or flat. For dinner, we ordered the Garlic Caesar Salad, Butternut squash tagliatelle and the Seared pork chop, and they all felt like autumn served on a plate. The pasta was velvety and comforting, and the pork chop had that perfect balance of sear and tenderness, a dish that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate it. But what truly made the night unforgettable was Pam. She was an absolute delight, warm, present, and a talented host beyond measure. She played soft, romantic jazz piano through the evening, and at one point, my fiancé and I ended up sharing a slow, quiet dance right there in the dining room. The Grant House setting adds to the charm historic, softly lit, and easy to settle into. Pam made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. So excited to come back for the holiday dinner.
