He provided us a with a viable solution and quote to fiberglass our 40-year-old plaster pool. It should be noted that SBPFR quoted against six other pool repair providers. Our decision to select SBPFR was based on numerous criteria, and they were judged to be the best option. We were right and delighted with this selection! Demolition work began on time, including draining the pool, covering our gazebo to minimize dust and removal of all the old tile. Leading up to the beginning and during the entire project, Miguel kept us up to date with the progress--excellent and timely communications all along the way. The entire project from draining the pool, to all the fiberglass and tile refinishing work took exactly one week plus one day, from start to a full pool. Trying to keep this brief for my own time. From January to March I was supposed to spend 160 a month on pool cleaning, but pool was still dirty. So they charged an additional 120 in February for extra chemicals because I had a difficult pool. But end of March pool had a lot of algae and looked like it wasn't even being brushed. They wanted another $360 in more chemicals. This would bring my YTD to $960, averaging $320 a month instead of the agreed $160 per month, but the big problem was pool was dirty! I'm not paying 320 a month to have a green pool. Maybe if the pool was clean and they came to me asking to adjust the rate that would work. But I can't keep paying extra fees to have a dirty pool. The pool was so bad my new pool service had to charge an extra fee to get the pool started. They couldn't believe I had an active pool service. La pool guys had in fact been there earlier that week. Oh I forgot they did a filter cleaning duirng this time which I requested because pool flow was getting low. After the filter clean, pool flow was still low and pressure was at 20. They told me that's normal. Had to pay another service to come out. They cleaned it and got pressure down to 10 and a good flow. They said it looked like no cleaning was done. So add that to the money wasted this year. Other problems: They skipped cleanings without letting me know (holidays, rainy day, etc.) Only when I noticed the pool was dirty and asked about it, they would confirm they skipped last week. I need to be told when skipping weeks so I can clean the pool myself or make alternative arrangements. Requested service for an equipment issue. Their tech came and went and said they fixed it, but checked it and nothing was done and the same problem existed. Had to call a different pool service for repair and wasted time

The saltwater pool turned a not so pretty shade of green just in time for St Patrick's Day. Another pool tech highly recommended TC Pools for ongoing maintenance. Thankfully, Tom was up for the challenge and restored the pool to its former glory. Saltwater pools require an expert to keep them looking good and TC Pools is that expert for me.
