***9MAR2023 UPDATE*** Today is the day!…read more DOUBLE-CHECK Luis and Miguel were on-scene well before the concrete truck arrived. What we're they doing? DOUBLE-CHECKING everything! Luis and his team have left nothing to chance. THE CONCRETE POUR! So quick! The truck was here and gone in like 20 minutes. "MAKING IT PRETTY" As Luis said, "for the next 4 hours we will be making it look pretty." And that's just what happened. LONG STORY SHORT... Best price, flawless comms, superior service and always on time! CALL LIRA CONCRETE!!!

We are so pleased with Luis and his team! They came out in July during the hottest days of the…read moresummer and got the job done! Luis was very understanding & was able to work with us in terms of our budget. He also took the time to answer many of our additional questions & concerns. Luis & the Lira Concrete team were very knowledgeable, very polite, always arrived early, & have a great work ethic. In addition, Luis & Lira Construction did not overcharge for our design in comparison to a few of the contractors we spoke with at the time in regard to diamond joints, rebar, & etc. Another positive thing we wanted to highlight is that Luis is licensed, bonded, & insured. He was very transparent throughout the whole process. We are thankful & have received many compliments from friends & family regarding the concrete work in our backyard. If you're looking to get some great concrete work done & want to support a local & veteran owned business we would highly recommend contacting Luis & the Lira Concrete team. Friendly Suggestions: (Not professional advice please differ to a concrete contractor for further suggestions & advice) * Research & then discuss with your contractor which PSI & thickness of concrete would be the best fit for your home or business. * Talk about the number of recommended breaks in terms of the concrete * Research & discuss the type of finishes you would like for the concrete work with your contractor, in addition to any areas of the concrete where you & /or your family are planning on having a gazebo or patio cover on the concrete. *Map out your landscape & if feasible hire a landscaping team /contractor to work along side your concrete contractor * If you're wanting to put in a fire pit and or a grill discuss the gas line in regards to your concrete work (based on the work & design may need to consult gas company /city /HOA). *Discuss with your contractor the need for more soil around your concrete if needed * Point out any outdoor drains or areas that will need to be accessed post concrete work & how the contractor can accommodate * Discuss the water drainage & the need for the concrete to be slightly sloped ( speaking very generally here contractor will know the correct terminology ) so that water does not collect /pool when raining. * Also consider discussing a retaining wall if needed for areas near fencing or walls * Discuss details of when the concrete will be poured & notify your neighbors or close by businesses of when the concrete work will taking place out of courtesy due to the noise level * Have water or water bottles available for the construction/concrete team * Speak with other highly recommended professionals in the field of construction &/or concrete work ( including YouTube & Instagram videos/reels) who can provide background information that can assist you as you speak with your selected concrete contractor

I used this company for my front and backyard landscaping and patio and cement. The contract we…read moresigned said the project would take 3-4 weeks to complete. Due to weather delays and lack of professionalism from this company and Reynaldo Ponce my project took over 4 months to complete. The irrigation drip system that they installed never worked properly and my new plants (close to $500.00 worth) died. He said we had a 2 year warranty on everything but that's only as good as a man's word and Rey ghosted us ever since. We had to pay another company to fix his mistakes. Save time, money and frustration and find a LICENSED CONTRACTOR, and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I wish I could say my experience was positive, but unfortunately it was not. My husband and I hired…read moreRey to landscape our backyard, build a retaining wall, pour cement, install drains, and lay sod. He asked for money upfront and, after more than nine months of excuses and broken promises, he never finished the job. The work that was completed was poorly done. The ground was never leveled, leaving the sod uneven with holes throughout. The retaining wall blocks he delivered were not the ones we requested. He brought cheaper materials that we had specifically said we did not want. He also never finished installing the drains, leaving an important part of the project incomplete. Each week he assured us he would return to finish, but he never followed through. What was supposed to be a professional landscaping job ended up being a frustrating, costly, and disappointing experience.
