There are normally several food trucks that surround the Barrel which gives you a lot of food choices. Inside reminds me of the old town bars with wooden tables and a floor that is covered with saw dust. You can bring your food inside and then imbibe on great selection of adult beverages they have to enjoy your food with. Dog water bowls are provided throughout the establishment if your pups thirsty add well. Fun place to stop and fill your tank!

Our kids (14 & 12) are experienced pool players; we typically play together as a family or let them play a game on their own while we enjoy a few rounds. We've been in 4 times this week alone and were welcomed every time. Today, we were abruptly told they couldn't play due to a 16+ rule by a young bartender who has always allowed us to play. He mentioned that the owner doesn't like kids playing and there is a sign. While there is a sign posted behind the wall and not clearly marked, it has been completely ignored by staff and other families for the years we've been coming here, and certainly wasn't mentioned during our other visits this week. Even today, it seemed to be selectively enforced. If a family is respectful, knows how to use the equipment properly, and has been welcomed all week, there should be some common sense and hospitality applied--especially for repeat customers. To allow it for days and then suddenly change the rules on our 5th visit is just poor hospitality and frankly feels slightly discriminatory.

She was very communicative and involved in the planning process. The space is very beautiful and perfect for 20-50 people in an intimate setting. The food was very good, and all of the staff were very sweet. They answered whatever questions we needed answered. It is a bit of a hands on venue, and you have to hire someone to set up your decor or get someone to help, but that was totally fine. We also did our own music and rented their speaker. Overall, the evening went very smoothly and I would recommend Bristlecone!

I especially appreciated that the venue, catering, lines, and tableware, were all under one roof! The only things I really needed to find for the meal were a cake and a bar service. The staff that were present during our reception were so helpful, kind, and all around wonderful. I couldn't have asked for better. We received so many compliments on the food and on the venue, overall. We had about 43 guests total, including us as the bride and groom, and it was the perfect, intimate size. We are so happy with our decision to have our reception at the Bristlecone Inn!

While it is industrial space it was cozy and just the right size for our group of ~120. We live in Seattle so planning an event remotely can be challenging, but Rebecca made it very easy for us with her excellent communication and great recommendations for party rentals and bartenders. Day of the event we were able to gain access to the space with plenty of time to set up and be prepared for our guest. We had a Studio staff member on site during our event for any support we needed - she was great! Plenty of parking for guest and a quick Uber (10 min from our hotel). I highly recommend The Studio for an event. We would definitely consider it for another party.

We did pay extra to have the Edison lights put up, (click on the photo to see them) which I recommend. We also used candles in hurricane containers which I also recommend as it gave the event a bit of magic. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are doing a week day event, you cannot get in to do decorating until 4:30p since this is a place of work. It did make our start time of 6p a little tight. We had the event catered but used disposable/compostable products. The kitchen area is open and perfect for a buffet. We also arranged for a Sweet Cow ice cream truck to come for dessert, which was a big hit and fun way to end the evening. I would do another party there given the chance.

Everything from the pre-planning (many emails back and forth from CA) to the clean-up went without a hitch. The venue provided everything including a stage with speakers and microphone, upgraded full bar and awesome bartender, tables and chairs with linen, a delicious taco bar with the chef interacting with our guests for the first 2 hours, staff that worked behind the scenes and kept everything clean, tidy and running smoothly. When I asked about a cake Chef John said he could do that as well. We're still talking about the strawberries and cream cake he made which included Neufchâtel cheese in the frosting. The venue has beautiful hardwood floors, large windows, and a door to the outside patio, right on the river. We were able to hang decorations and we're asked often if we needed anything, any help. Leanne Jewell is the event manager and she took great care of us. When we originally booked the venue the plan was to have it mostly outside with 30 people. Just days before it became apparent we would possibly have snow or rain and 50 people. Leanne reassured me not to worry, they would move the party indoors if needed. Planning everything from another state had me a bit frazzled but I can assure you they know what they are doing. I was so impressed. Thank you Riverside Events, we had a fantastic time.
