The store is very organized. The vegetables are beautifully lined up and present a colorful display! Shelves are well stocked and in order. The floral section has so many fresh flowers! People were shopping but it wasn't crowded. There were several sales that we took advantage of. There was an issue with some Randall's coupons that had no dates on them but could not be accepted. Service has got to the the worst I've ever experienced. The self checkout is always open and seems to have long lines 80% of the time. Employees are just checked out! Prices are 15/5% higher on average and selection is more of a convenience store versus grocery store. Meat is often days away from going bad and often freezer burned. Fresh produce is a contradiction in terms are most of it is going bad. Cheese and dairy often has 50% off stickers on most of the products due to the lack of movement. Bread selection is about 10 feet long and 4 feet high. Bakery if you come first thing in the morning, everything is frozen and in the process of thawing. The fresh deli is just sad. There is a place where you can eat, but it is just not used and often very dirty and a place used for employees to take breaks. Most of the baskets are full of little pieces of garbage. The restrooms are often dirty and the pharmacy is just a filthy dusty mess. The pharmacy carpet is falling apart, and there is duct tape holding it together and plaque on the walls look like they've been thrown up there as frisbees with inches of dust across everything. There's really not much to see here. It's really just a place that looks like it's paid off and Randalls keeps it somewhat in business. Honestly, it would be great if they moved out and an H-E-B pantry store moved in even a Walmart pantry store would be great. It's clear the Albertsons brand doesn't really respect anyone in pecan Grove and is willing to just let this thing hang out taking up valuable real estate. read more

BEWARE -- Store Management will not make proper restitution for selling me a "defective", Gift card that had been TAMPERED With prior to my purchase.. The scratch-off security-feature had already been "scratched-Off" and the vital "PIN" was erased , BEFORE I had purchased this gift card. These defects could only be determined after tearing/ opening the gift card packaging. I demonstrated these gift-card defects to customer service staff and store Director "Chuck". who insists store policy "is to do nothing " for these gift card Tamper-fraud on customers. I went to the Randall's in Pecan grove. It was clean, and organized. I love Randall's.

After the response from the general manager I decided to try again and guess what? The ad said $4.97lb but the sign in the market still said $5.97 and some products were priced at $6.97....for thin sliced. THEY WERE ALL THIN SLICED! I like this store - but you need to use the app and track sales. Pharmacy is usually fast and autorefills reliably. Easy to find stuff and prices are reasonable with coupons and rewards. Bakery is much better than some - great cheese bagles - they don't have everything. All in all a pleasant place to shop. read more

If I could I would give this store negative I bought a ZZ plant pot today at around 2pm today Jan 8th at Kroger in Sugar Land. I took the pot back to Kroger around the area in the same day due to rotten on the plant and ask if I can exchange. The store supervisor Irene Rodrigruez gave me an attitude and told me that I have to take it back to where they got it. She said the other store falt no her store. I told her but I though Randall is randall why can't I do it here since I am already here. Then she answer me in a very childest attitude way " did you see that pot here" Iy blew off my mind to see such an bad attitude costumers service I received when it wasnt my fault. I see some low stars for Randall's on 359, and just wanted to say that I like the local store. It has a great selection of meats, and the 50% manager specials are a great way to save (I buy and freeze). It a smaller store, so now and then some things go out of stock, but I find everything I need and the people that work there are nice, helpful and put up with my toddlers' antics (running down aisles, rolling on the floor, insisting on eating something I just put in the cart "now"). The beer selection is varied enough the carry beer my beer snob husband will drink and there are enough organic options to save me from trekking to Whole Foods too often. Went to Randall's yesterday. It sometimes is an unpleasant feeling to walk into this store off of 359. Some of the employees are very disrespectful. They stand and huddles trying to judge certain customers. Seems like some of them are racists and they stand and stare as if they own the store. I wish management and whoever views the cameras would pay attention on how some customers are treated. Everything seems to be funny to some of the employees. If their there to ridicule customers. The only reason this place is still open is b/c it is convenient. The food is often one or 2 days away from expiration, they dont have what you need and they only have about 5 ppl on staff who have a clue. Their manager does not know how to work the registrar!?!?!? Most of the time the fruits and vegetables are old, so are even rotting. Nice people but don't expect them to ask you if you need any help. Cause they aren't that type of store. First stay away from the wrapped cheese, even when close to expiration or at date they just re wrap it. Ex employee knowledge there. Anyway, wife got one of the 5 buck premade sandwiches there this past weekend and what followed was 13 hours of not being able to hold down food or water and a visit to the ER due to pain and dehydration. There is a reason Randalls all across the greater Houston area are closing and it's not just financial, it's because of the disappearance of caring about quality and customers. The Randall's is nice and clean. The people are friendly. But I give this store 2 stars because its laid out in an extremely nonsensical manor. People typically learn the store they go to often. But we've had grocery stores long enough that most have figured out the "flow" that makes sense. Well, this Randall's chose to buck that trend of putting like items together. Instead its a mad house or a puzzle of grocery items. I wish this store would visit every other grocery store and take notes. The customer service is awesome. Carl is amazing and works so hard. His management staff is great. We appreciate donations they make to our school. However, the food can be overpriced, so I make sure I shop consciously. You can find good deals (if you really look). They often have daily specials. Would hate for this establishment to go away. I do shopping here very frequently. The items may be a bit more costly due to the convenience of the location between several large neighborhoods compared to other faraway grocery stores that are cheaper. But the membership card deals and sales prices are pretty clear and easy to understand if you can find them. (Which is less common in stores than you'd think it should be) Item categorization and ease of finding everything is decent, variety is pretty good, and the quality of most food and drink items are good enough to warrant a trip to test their goods. Easy parking lot, easy baskets (Though some are starting to break), and decent checkout staff. My one complaint is the difficulty of finding helpful staff in aisle. I have trouble finding uniformed staff, and when I do, they usually know nothing about the products there and cannot answer my questions when I need to find something, which is odd. This place I visit on the regular because it's literally around the corner from my house. The place is over priced!!! Everything is old and or rotting. I recently bought 2 packs or corn when we took the clear plastic off there was mold everywhere. Ahhhh didn't even bother to complain. Today I went in to get the day care a dozen donuts. They were on sale for 0.50 cents. I got the register and noticed I didn't have my card on me and had left it on my key chain in the car. I explained that to the very old and RUDE cash register lady. I told her that unfortunately it was not registered and would it be ok to borrow another one. She said NO I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU ANOTHER ONE PEOPLE LIKE YOU WASTE OUR MONEY!! Excuse me?!?! I was so dumbfounded I couldn't believe she was talking to me like that. I told her I demanded a new one end of story. I was sooo upset. My ID wasn't accepted and neither was my Military ID. Without looking at either ID's, the employee Mashell Hughes, denied me service and suggested my ids "could be fake"! I'm 25. Came in this morning to get some deli meats. Sign on counter states deli service available from 7AM to 9 PM. Got to the counter at 7:48, waited until 7:58 and finally had to leave. While waiting I tried knocking on the counter top and also said hello numerous times in a loud but not yelling voice. No response. Randall's used to be the grocery store of choice for our family but ever since they were bought out years ago the quality of customer service and some of the products have gone way downhill. We now only use Randall's as a last resort when we need something and don't have time to drive to the better grocery chains in the area. Well this trip has convinced me that it's still quicker to drive further and go to a different chain than fight the poor customer service exhibited all too often by Randall's. Fantastic service and helpful knowledgeable employees. I've been to many different Randall's and even grew up near one. This store is my favorite. Fresh pizzas from an actual pizza oven. Fresh produce that's reliable and well stocked. If you don't have a Randall's card then it would be costly to do your shopping there but since I easily and quickly got a card I've enjoyed the fair prices and great deals. Well, I am glad we have the store in our area. Produce is higher priced but so much nicer than HEB. Pay for what you get. Love their meats. They have limited space and run out of smaller, more reasonable priced milks (especially buttermilk Grrrr.) I just want regular milk in different sizes - not these greenie weenie milks. There are some of the nicest people that have been there so long. But what has happened in the bakery and cold cuts meat section? The birthday cakes look like Fiesta cakes - not tempting with waaaay over-colored icings. Decoration art is bad. And they have so much trouble understanding English. They put out stale bread! Miss the warm narrow French bread in afternoons. Many breads are hard as bricks. I won't pay $3.99 for sour dough bread that would have been delicious if it was fresh. The man in back of bakery, who hardly spoke English, said he would put out some more the next day. So I go back the next day, and the two loaves he put out were as hard as the older two loaves. Not buying it! What a shame. The bakery is a loss. In cold cuts, I generally stand there a while waiting for someone to come over and slice some sandwich meat. They are always preoccupied. Miss the older, mannerly people that used to be back there. The man manager is very nice. He worked so hard to help people when Covid first broke out and hardly any paper goods available. Highly disappointed with this store. For starters, the overall layout makes no sense whatsoever. Any experienced grocery shopper will say the same. It just makes no sense. Secondly, the staff is so beyond rude it's ridiculous. I've had several bad shopping experiences here with the staff. Today the cashier tried to put my fresh produce in with cleaning supplies! When I corrected her I got nothing but attitude back. Sorry I don't want a touch of bleach with my broccoli, my bad. The thing that sets me over the edge is that in the now 9 months I have been pregnant I have never been offered help out to my car ONCE. I am 5 days away from my due date & have a case of water in my cart, how do you not offer help? Ridiculous. Produce/meat is subpar. There have been several occasions where they are out of produce items (specifically corn). I am going to just take my business down the road to Kroger or HEB. I suggest you do too. I'm very surprised at the negative reviews. I go into Randall's several times a week. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The manager and assistant manager are great and I have seen both work the register and lend a hand wherever they are needed. I've never noticed anything unusual about the set up of the store. This store gets 2 stars because of the wine and beer selection. Everything is over priced. I would never consider doing my actual grocery shopping here. I come here if I need to grab one or two things. Which seems to be the case for most of the customers checking out. I never think about getting any type of meats because they have an extremely poor selection and have double and sometimes triple the price per pound from other grocery stores. They do not rotate the expired items they just put them on sale so people will think they are getting a good deal but really they are buying old food. I picked up taco shells that I later realized had expired 3 months prior. Oh and bread. They are known for selling moldy bread!! If you choose to buy here make sure you check the date on EVERYTHING. It will make anyone upset to purchase with your hard earned money just to find out you have to throw it out because it is expired/stale.
