Very irritated with the pharmacy staff - rude and short tempered and couldn't be bothered to call when a script had expired. Their reason? I was lucky they even had time to fax the doctor. I called nearly 9 hours earlier! Once I arrived they were argumentative and said they had 100 orders ahead of mine. Really? 100? I seriously doubt that. I transferred my script to Walgreens and had it 20 minutes later. read more

Stars for being nearly empty so I don't have to deal with crowds. Cashiers too busy talking to each other to even greet any customers, shelves poorly stocked with old food. We were overcharged for food because the cashier was too busy chatting. Time for an employee overhaul! read more

I am a die hard HEB'er. But if ever I need to shop quickly, and want no muss, Ill hit up this Randall's in a heartbeat. Yes, Randall's is pricier than most. BUT, to their defense, its a well oiled machine. In the past my review would say something like "they don't have enough Organic choices, they don't offer a store brand Organic choice, and their generics are higher than HEBs name brands"... BUT, as I found out on Thanksgiving when they were the ONLY place still open (thank you Randall's Gods)-- they DO NOW!! They have many more Organic choices!! I am preferential to HEBS/Central Market Organics, but Randall's did impress. Customer Service is impeccable. There were 3 of us ladies looking for heavy cream, and that entire section was emptied. So an associate comes by, and we ask if there is any in back, and as kind as could be, he goes in back, we open the case door and he starts asking how many we need. I was standing there contemplating going home and just making heavy cream, so he put a huge smile on all our faces by finding a case!! Then, I'm in produce and cant find one single sweet potato, not Organic, not regular.. Find a kind man in produce and ask him if there just so happen to be any more in the back, and just as pleasantly as the cream guy, he says "let me go check.." He brings out a box of nice, cold, sweet potatoes! Score!! Not only did he have some in the back, they were Organic, and since the regulars were sold out, he said "Happy Thanksgiving" and pulled the Organic stickers off of them, so they were like $1 for 4lbs each.. I was stoked!! I will say that I like their bakery items a bit more than HEBs. Their cakes, pies, cookies are pretty stinkin tasty!! Use the Remarkable card, and there is always a cool discount at the end. Overall.. they are still higher than I prefer, I feed 5 on most Organic/clean foods, and I am so very opposed to change, lol-- but I DO like this Randalls!! read more

This store has a lot to be desired. Sale items are often not available, very unfriendly staff (especially the customer service area) with the exception of 1 meat counter employee. Randalls as a whole need to ditch the card/coupons where you have to download them to the Randalls card. That is so much of a hassle. No one has time to search the circular then sit down at their phone or pc and load these coupon items. HEB you just walk in, no worries if you forget to download some coupon. Always get the sale price regardless if you have a card or not. read more

Disappointing... produce goes bad very quickly. It's not safe to assume things you buy here aren't expired. I grabbed some spinach dip and realized it was 2 weeks past the use by date when I got home. Chips were also stale immediately after opening the bag. I went there yesterday because we forgot to get a boutonniere for my daughter's date for the prom which was later that night.. We had gone to the H-E-B plus it Hutto and were told that they could not make us a corsage they only had premade ones that were ugly and fake. They were not very friendly a bit dismissive. I then went to this Randall's where I shop at a lot, went to the floral department and Renee the floral manager offered to make me a corsage and said it was no problem. She was very nice and if you need anything floral I would suggest going there. read more

I went to this Randalls for the first time a couple of months ago. I started out at the starbucks they have inside. Everyone there was super friendly. I then went outside where there was a very nice man outside Barbequing. He was super nice also. Everyone treated us with the upmost respect and courtousy. This store definately deserves 5 stars. A lot of cats give randall's shiznit cause they are "so Expensvie" but I call bull oney on that. yes, they are more pricey on items then HEB but if you catch stuff on sale ,this place is tip top and on the spot. PLUS, its not nearly as crowded as HEB Plus. that place is a hoople house all the time. its like being on Slo-pac at 530pm.. ugh. any way, . I always find quality meat on sale and they carry Tab in the Can. Hello. Tab is awesome. Clean and organized. This store reminds me of the Albertsons stores in El Paso. I drive the extra 6 miles to this store vs going to the HEB down the street bc their produce is always fresh. I've spent too much money on poorly maintained fresh veggies and fruit. I'm happy to have found my favorite brand of Almond milk (Califa Farms) at Randall's. Plus they're kombucha is easy to find! DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE ORDERING! BEWARE! They use substitutions. They substitute High Count/Low price items for Low Count/High price substitutes. I received 30% of my order and charged me 80% of the total. It is not worth it. They won't do anything if you call them. read more

Good selection of foods for the health conscious. I am a busy person and most days have to pop in a lean cuisine for lunch. This randall's has the best selection of my favorite microwaveable lunches! They also have little tags all over the store to make it easy to find gluten free, low calorie, carb friendly and diabetic type foods. Pretty nifty! Takes the guess work out of having to run around the store and reading every single nutrition label. I'm lazy like that Only thing they could change is their prices. A bit pricey. But I still come here because I hate the HEB plus so deeply in Round Rock. read more

This grocery store isn't capable of getting 4 or 5 stars from me ($15 a lb for tenderloin? we're in cow country people, lower your damn price on meat!) however it gets 3 because it's a hell of a lot better than HEB. Didn't notice any big price differences from either store, not big enough to torture myself through a shopping spree at HEB at least. This place is clean and never packed like HEB. Sometimes you'll get a line but it moves fast so it's worth it. I would recommend people to go here. read more

This Randalls store refused to accept an online gift card I purchased via their OWN website AFTER I spent money on it, yet they continue to sell them online. The store manager displayed unprofessional behavior when 'explaining' this to the recipient of the online gift card I sent. If this is the treatment people receive when trying to prepay groceries for family members who need help buying food, this store is not worthy of customers. I have sent these cards before. I live nowhere near a Randalls or SafeWay location, so I have to buy them online. They should be happy I spend money at SafeWay that would otherwise not be spent. This is the only Randalls store that causes problems. HEB is just down the road. Shop there instead. Update: The regional manager called me to apologize and provided additional training for local employees. Problem solved. Unfortunately, my family member now refuses to go back there, so the money I put on the gift card will go unspent. read more

Pharmacy lured us to transfer prescriptions and said we will get $75 if we transfer everything from SAMS club. We specifically asked if they accept our Humana health insurance, they said yes - 100%..no worries..ALL LIES!!! We got everything transfered and they tell us, sorry we do not accept Humana! That mess is still not fixed. My doctors are sending refills to Randalls etc. Always used to shop there. NEVER will again! read more

Today was my last visit to Randalls EVER! Everytime we have visited the location on Gattis School Rd., we have been insulted by the MANY meandering employees. As a customer, you should NEVER have to step away from what you are shopping for to give them room to do their job. Secondly, we have been challenged numerous times as to the number of items we had when using the express lane. I understand that the express lane is for shoppers in a hurry, but there is NEVER an acceptable time to be rude to a customer. Today we were berated because we had 17 items and used the 15 items or less lane. Screw it, there are many other places to shop, and the prices are better elsewhere. Plus, as an added injury, they continually OVERCHARGE for marked items. Today we were charged full price for an item with a 50% off sticker. No savings here, and the employees clearly hate the customers. Bye-bye sumbitches! read more

Growing up in Hawaii one of the main grocery stores that I went to was Safeway. When my family moved to Texas we were super bummed that there was no Safeway.... Then we found out that Randall's is the same company as Safeway!!! Yah! My family and I were super stoked to see the Safeway products and things that we loved. Usually I don't like to buy the store brand things but I assure you majority of the Safeway food brand items are delicious. Such as their O organics products. I hate wheat pasta even though I know it's healthier for you. Until I tried the O organics whole wheat pasta. Which tastes soo good. I was pleasantly surprised! My anti veggie or anything healthy husband actually ate it and loved it. Anyways, sometimes the prices here are cheaper then HEB and some other things are a bit more expensive but I definitely think the quality of meat and what not are better here and worth the extra spending. This locations staff has wonderful customer service. The only complaint I have is the restroom. There is only one restroom and it looks kinda scary and has a funky scent. Being preggers and constantly running to the restroom is the reason why I even care about what restrooms look like in establishments... Other than that this is a great place! Thank goodness for the cake!!! My daughter's wedding was last Saturday & she'd ordered 2 pricey cakes from a fancy Austin bakery. When neither were going to be chocolate, I also ordered a fudge sheet cake from Randall's. One of the expensive bakery cakes was inedible, it wasn't baked through, so we threw away $150.00+ worth of cake. Guests loved the $30 Randall's cake though!! The woman who took my phone order was also very patient with me when I was explaining which chocolate cake I wanted, they have at least 2 kinds. The pharmacy staff was pretty rude when i dropped off my prescription. The blonde lady cashier in the pharmacy looked almost angry that i had dropped off a prescription, and when i asked if i would get a call she looked even more angry. I think i will have to take my script somewhere else. I cant imagine having to deal with that every time. read more

The only reasons I shop at this Randall's is to buy my basic items (milk, bread, diapers, etc) and its also a place I go to when I am not in the mood to deal with the HEB crowds. If I have a shopping list full of 30 items, ill be lucky if they have half of what's on my list! Their "discount" card is worthless because the retail price shown before discount is always priced high and now they've started this discount where you have to waste time searching their website to load coupons onto your store member card in order to get the discounted item at the discounted price. What's the point of that?! The meat department is ok but the beer selection is pretty pathetic. The store clerks also have this policy where they thank you by addressing you by Mr or Ms "last name". Unless your from Louisiana, my name is hard to pronounce and they butcher it every time! It's often the same few clerks who do it too! Just stop trying! Normally. I'm great with names but tonight.. Not so much. However, I have to RAVE about my experience. First off, so clean and organized! Love! Everyone was so nice and helpful. I injured myself and am on crutches.. A gentleman greeted me and helped me unplug the motorized cart so I could scoot through the store. Then, the group working cashier lanes and bagging, helped me sign up for a Randall's card and helped us load our groceries quickly. And let me ride the scooter to the car without any worry of bringing it back inside - just said it was all taken care of. It's the little things that make customers loyal. read more

Randalls offers great deals, especially when using the Just For U app on my phone. It takes a bit of time to go through the personalized deals and coupons but I save so much money. I shop there at least twice a week, usually more. The best deals are often on cereals, snack items, sodas, meats and frozen foods. Gift cards are often discounted or give me double the fuel points so I purchase them often. And the deals on fuel are hard to beat, I usually pay 30 to 50 cents less because of their club discounts. The checkers and pharmacy staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem is that their produce is not always fresh and can be over-priced. read more

What the he*l is wrong with your store employees? I just went shopping and three people walked in with a shaggy haired dog. I called the store from the produce department and the guy who answered said he would call the manager up. Nothing happened. By the time I reached the register, the three with the dog were behind me on line. I went up to the customer service desk and spoke to the guy who answered my call just a few minutes before. I asked him what happened, and what did the manager say? Nothing! Someone finally came up front and instead of addressing the animal situation, this "manager" walks over to me! Don't you people know what the hell to do? Don't you know how to communicate with each other? I told this guy, assistant grocery manager by the way, what the problem was and as I walked out, he walked away down the aisle, returning to the back of the store!!! Never spoke with the dog people at all! Really? No seriously? I went back in after him as he walked away and got his attention. All he could say was "but they're leaving, but they said they were leaving..." Now he's giving me bull***t. And what was his excuse when I called it in ten minutes before? He told me "I've seen people carry small dogs through the line..." I asked him what his store policy was and he told me "service animals only" and in the same breath, he said the dog in the store was NOT a service animal. I guess your entire staff needs retraining in your policy. I guess someone needs to tell your store employees that it is UNSANITARY to have dogs walking around the store with uncontrollable fleas or dog hair shedding, especially in the produce department! My friend lives a half mile away and shops at this location because she hates crowds and this store is NEVER crowded. I can see that there is a huge lack of serious management in that store, especially at night. I can see that no one cares what goes on in the evenings. And that assistant grocery manager person that I spoke with is in no position to be a manager of anything. He had all the courage in the world to make excuses to me to my face which was nothing but crap, yet no courage to walk up to those three people and confront them. All the Monopoly crap in the world is not going to save this store if they can't follow health and safety laws when it comes to things like this. I agree with the other reviewer who said the only that would save this store is putting a Whole Foods in its place. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. read more

I shop at this Randalls often. Its a nice store and its a lot less crowded than HEB. I do have a problem being lied to. This pimpled faced kid lied to my face, believe his name is MAX. I was getting an 8piece chicken and two sides for $9.99. It was part of a deal they had. When I get my total its nearly 16 bucks. I asked Max if the price was right, because I did the $9.99 deal. He said yes it was correct, without even looking at my receipt. He quickly dismissed my concerns and was VERY vague with me. Long story short, I didn't have the right sides and had to go back to customer service to get my money back and get the correct sides for that deal. Max did not take the time to explain the issue with my price total and did not provide the customer service, ive come to expect from Randalls. I have never had any problems with any other employees there, hopefully this guy is just a bad apple among the group. Cheers! read more
