Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend to hang out and check out some breweries in the DUMBO area. This was one of the spots that was on the list that day. Upon arriving in front of their "patio", there was no one outside to assist. There was a blackboard that said to just scan the QR code on the table and order via the Toast website and someone would bring out the order. It took some exploring to figure out that there was a corridor on the left side that leads to the main room, where we finally found civilization with maybe just one bartender? They looked understaffed. We were looking for the rooftop access and apparently you have to enter the main building entrance just to the right of the "patio", pass the security turnstile, and take the elevator to the top floor where you'll follow more signs, walk up some stairs and voila! This place is confusing as hell and such a struggle to figure out with minimal assistance. Once we got to the rooftop, the experience was a lot better. We were seated by a staff member, walked us through on how to order using the Toast website, split the check, etc. They only had three drafts available compared to about seven in the main/patio area, but the views and good weather made it worthwhile to settle with the limited selections. We each tried the "Y'all Ready For This" ($9) and "Orange You Lovely" ($9), which were fantastic to try for those beer enthusiasts. We also ordered a side of Chips and Guac ($10) to snack on. To sum everything up, this place is not first time user friendly. But once you figure everything out, it's a pretty good time with great views on the rooftop and great beers. read more

Very fun bar that's super spacious with games and lots of room for big groups. They have a wide beer selection with good prices, and they catered a group event I was at with good light bites. Two of us got well drinks and when they rang up the tab we were astounded that they cost $21 each! The menu said $14 and I never would've ordered had I known the price was so much more. They upcharged us because they used a different tequila because we requested plain margaritas (instead of the flavored ones on the menu) but didn't disclose it was significantly more expensive. Usually visit the Williamsburg location, however, I figured I'd venture out a little further to see how the bigger location was. Came here with two friends and had a good time. Cocktails are included in the bottomless so it makes you feel better about paying $30pp because realistically, two drinks and you get your moneys worth. The hostess/our waitress was very nice. My friends and I enjoyed the bottomless so much that we didn't even get a chance to explore the rest of the restaurant. Rooftop in dumbo is laid back and chill Definitely love that a lot of people don't know about it because it will be ruined Service is absolutely amazing. Everyone is super accommodating and friendly. I came in with my toddler and they were truly great. Brunch is delish and the drinks are as well. I recommend the breakfast tacos, the cucumber Margarita and the French toast for sure. Everything is simple but excellently presented The only downside are windy days, everything will literally be blown away, but that's not their fault. Decor is cute and comfortable The view of NYC is to die for. Parking in the area can be difficult due to closed streets Access to the building is on sands street and there's indoor and outdoor seating apart from the rooftop I will definitely be returning soon. Went here for brunch! We had a reservation, arrived early and were seated right away. We enjoyed the ambience and the pitcher deals - we loved the strawberry basil one especially! Stopped in with my buddy. We were here to grab a drink before heading to dinner. Nice spot to hang with a group. They have video games, table games, self serve taps. We sat at the bar and were served quickly. We both grabbed the kolsch. It's a nice light beer. There's is a very good example of it. I wish we had a little more time here. It was a nice place. Very cool spot to hang with a large groups of friends. Drinks were solid and food menu was inventive and interesting. We reserved their elevated seating section for a group birthday outing and it was nice to have our own semi private space up sit and chill away from the masses below. The space is very industrial but still warm and inviting. Staff was very cool and helpful too. Good amount of parking at night, we got there around 8pm and right off the BQE so it's super convenient. We happened into Randolph to A. warm up and B. use their restroom. Oh, they serve craft beer, winning! We were too early to enjoy their HH specials but we did enjoy a few of their beers before heading out for our next NY adventure. Our bartender was especially friendly and took her time to review their Randolph brew options. I settled on their Saison. This is a typical Saison with a nice dry finish. Plus 1 ordered their Bridge beer which was a beautiful pilsner with typical Pils crisp light finish. Two very well done craft beers. There were a couple of stouts that caught my eye but I had many miles to go before my next adult beverage. There are plenty of bar bites and full dinners to choose from and a really strong bourbon, whiskey, and scotch options if you are going high octane. Nice friendly pub if you are in the DUMBO area. Pro tip: Make this your pit stop before or after doing the bridge walk! read more

Ugh I have such a good time here always! I used to always go to the Williamsburg location then DUMBO opened and I love it even more. It's such a great vibe, the people that work there are alwayssss so accommodating and so nice! The drinks and the endless beer choices make Randolph an easy favorite. They have shuffleboard, feather bowl and the views at the top are elite. Try to get there on the earlier side so you can be one of the first on the roof when it opens at 3pm, but it's a limited menu up there. Such a great time always! read more

A very cozy chill brewery. They check that you're vaccinated and have gender neutral bathrooms. You can place your order through your phone so it makes everything so simple. I'm not a big beer fan myself, but the cider I got was very smooth and more on the sweet side which was perfect for my taste. Got here for brunch on a Saturday and the place was pretty empty. The staff was very friendly and the entire process is pretty much zero contact, right from getting into the building to ordering and paying, which was great. They only had 3 beer options on the rooftop, which is disappointing since they're a beer spot. However, the breakfast bowls are huge and pretty delicious. Wow what a great place! Came here as a group of 4 to catch up over drinks and grab a bite to eat. Views are spectacular. You see all of lower manhattan and are basically right on top of the Manhattan bridge! Once you're seated you scan a QR code and order from your phone. the food just comes out once you add things to your cart. Beer was very good- they have a wide selection and the names gave us a good laugh (Dumbo Thick IPA). We decided to get pitchers as it made more sense for us since we all wanted to try the same beer. We were pleasantly surprised with how reasonable this place was with prices and portions- you get much more bang for your buck compared to Manhattan. Food was also great- I had the burger and waffle fried which were surprisingly good considering I assumed this place to be more focused on the drinks. Overall- great brewery/rooftop spot in DUMBO! After crossing over the Brooklyn Bridge my husband and I were tired, thirsty and cold since we have chosen to do this trek on one of the coldest day of the winter! As usual, with the help of Yelp we found Randolph Beer, a very fun place near the bridge where we could crash and warm up for a few before heading back to NYC! The place takes up most of the space on the second floor building at the corner of Prospect and Pearl Street in the DUMBO Section of Brooklyn. There are communal tables as well as various tall bar tables throughout; there are sections with comfy couches and armchairs, and a large bar counter as well as a more private section to the side for families or large groups. There are plenty of games and TV screens to keep you occupy if you so desire. It was crowded and loud in the early afternoon, so I can imagine how crazy it gets at night! I loved the hip and electric atmosphere, their self-service selection of beers on the wall, their fresh water canisters located throughout the space and most of all the disclaimer on the menu that all proceeds at this time go to the victims of the fires in CA!!! We settled for an oyster stout, Death from Below and just a stout, Fig and Cacao- 16oz for $10.00 each; both were rich in flavor and taste!! We studied the menu which was very eclectic, offering from very healthy dishes to bar food; we shared an order of Chicken Wings which was fine. The ambiance here is ... funky? Lots of games and things, different spaces to sit, definitely making use of the old industrial space in Dumbo! But they have a great draft beer selection and while the website ordering system took a minute to figure out (tipping? Still not sure how that worked) it does have good descriptions for the beer. One of the largest selections of tap beers I've come across. Various types of seating. From communal tables, to intimate couches, to tables for four, it's got it all. Randolph provides whatever you need. It's not in a prime location for weekend activities, but I imagine the place can be packed with work day crew over the weekdays. There's a self tap station. I have no idea how it works, or how you use it, but it's there. If you don't want to deal with that you can deal with other humans, such as the bartender at the bar. You know like before Watson or Skynet takes over. They have games in the back, which makes it even better for groups. As I explained though you can be couple here on a date and it'll be fine. I just have no idea what it's like here on a Saturday or Sunday as the neighborhood could be a little dead around that point. read more

Sat outside. Loved that we didn't have to wait for a hostess or waitress to order, we sat down and scanned the barcode at the table which allowed us to each place our own order on a shared tab. My friends and I came here after work on Friday to celebrate my partner's birthday. We really enjoyed our night at Randolph Beer. Atmosphere: Upon walking in, I was impressed with the space and how favorable the layout was for both large and small parties. The reservation process online was easy and guaranteed us our table for 2 hours. Uniquely, the brewhouse is cashless but you can request tokens at the bar to play the games (Ski-Ball, Foosball, Pinball, etc). I liked how clean the place was, as it provided a slightly classier vibe than your typical drinking spot. While the place was busy, it didn't feel overcrowded and we didn't have to shout all night to hear each other. Service was very friendly as well. Food/Drink: Interesting menu consisting of both your typical bar foods and healthier options such as cauliflower rice bowls. I had the Burger with Waffle Fries. I was very impressed with the food- the Burger was juicy with a buttery taste, and the fries were also tasty. I also tried the Fried Chicken sandwich, which was also very good. Food was a bit expensive, (the Burger was $17), but the quality was above your typical bar standard. All food is ordered at the bar and there is a fun self-service beer on tap section. I came here, since I was starving and waiting for an event, across the street. The bartender had a hard time explaining the beers, or didn't care to spend 2 minutes telling me about them. The service is what I would call lackluster, just like the beers. I asked about one of the beers and said I would try it. They served a full glass and when I tried it, it tasted like cinnamon/ginger.. not my style and I mentioned that I didn't like it, The bartender, really couldn't care less. I ordered a different beer, but the bartender left the beer by me and charged me for it, even though the whole thing stood there. They have a couple options but we decided to go with unlimited drinks for 90 minutes and for 43$ and anything extra like (bacon,fish,chicken was added to that amount) the unlimited mimosas were great and they have lots of options and beer options as well. COVID-19 outdoor dining update: came to Randolph for an office farewell happy hour on a Thursday and made a reservation for their new rooftop space a few days in advance. First off, this was literally the only place in DUMBO I could find that would take a reservation for 10 people, so props just for that! They have tables on the ground level too, but the rooftop is really the way to play it (even if you're just a party of two, spotted lots of smaller groups up there as well) - tables spaciously distanced, and great views of the surrounding neighborhood/Statue of Liberty. The drink and snack selection is very pared down from the last time we came here, but all solid bar snacks that are easy to share with a big group. They give you paper menus and napkins in a complimentary tote bag, which I thought was a cute touch (I have never turned down a free tote bag). Servers are all masked up and they also offer you the ability to order online if you're uncomfortable with interacting with a server. I ended up getting the Rooftop Reds rose instead of beer, and it was so good: on the dry side but tasted like strawberries. Need to get a bottle next time! read more

I've been to the NoLita and Williamsburg locations of Randolph so I was excited when I heard the DUMBO location was opening up because HH options around here suck. Unfortunately, their opening was delayed several months due to plumbing issues, but they finally had their soft opening and I went for a work event. First of all, the layout of the place is really weird. It's a split floor, and very winding. The beer ATMs are closer to the entrance than the bar (where you need to go to get a beer card), so that's awkward (especially when it's packed). Lots of tables though. There's also tabletop shuffleboard and a pinball machine. The upstairs area is tiny (3 picnic style tables that you can reserve) so not a lot of room to move around. Waitresses came by pretty often, so that was nice. Draft list had a lot of variety. Most beers were $10 for 16oz, which isn't the best, but at least they're good beers. But the beer ATM list is different, so hard to maximize your choices in one fell swoop. In terms of food, they have a full menu. We just did a bunch of appetizers to share. The waffle fries with cheese were yum (melted cheese on top and a dipping cheese on the side). Shishitos were also good, bit pricey at $11. And the Big Ass Pretzel was as advertised. I'm a sucker for beer cheese. Will definitely return, but maybe on a night where the whole neighborhood isn't there for the opening. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

Called ahead of time asking questions about a reservation they said to just show up since it was opening time (5pm) and they can accommodate me. I showed up at 5pm, they guy at the front said it's reservation only. Okay no probableM. I made a reservation (paid zero dollars for the reservation on Resy) and told the guy I made the reservation. He said okay I don't see it, showed him the confirmation on my phone and he said it I set till 5:45 the time was 520. That was the earliest I could make it for. Okay no problem. The email says to Show up 15 minutes early. I don't understand what the hassle is. To put the cheery on top I get upstairs to the rooftop and it's empty! Why make me wait all that time and make me make a reservation and the place is empty? Hmmm besides that interaction and waiting everything was just as expected. read more

My boyfriend and I go here often because we are locals and have even recommended this place to friends. Last weekend (Sunday) we came to watch football and asked the bartender if he can put our game on and received the rudest response. He said this is not a sports bar and we should just go somewhere else. We could not believe how he spoke to us so we asked to speak to the manager who acted like she could not care less. Have to say this beer place is super noisy so much so that I had to lean in to hear what my father was saying across the table from me. I came on a Saturday around happy hour time. Our server was really friendly and professional. The fish tacos were on point and came out quickly. The pale ale was a great complement to both dishes that I had. However the cheesburger that I ordered was overcooked even though I requested medium rare. I didn't say anything to server because I didn't want to wait longer. LOVE this spot! I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and I've never had a bad time here! I absolutely love their warm grains bowl with shrimp, their big-ass pretzel, and the wings! The food here is DELICIOUS! I also do love the service here -- they always greet me with a smile, and get me anything that I need ASAP. Honestly, i love how service here is so friendly and upbeat. The ambience itself is pretty great -- especially during summer. I loved how the dinner menu was categorized (start & share, in a bowl, on a bun, etc.) I'm not a beer drinker, but the fact that it doubles as a brewery is a bonus. It was quite the wait for our meal. I ordered the Korean fried chicken which was prepared with a sweet & sour glaze, ginger & jalapeno slaw, house pickle, and fries ($18). My friend had the grilled chicken sandwich prepared with fire-roasted pepper, jack cheese, sambal aioli, and fries ($17).
