His staff is truly magical, diligently listens to your needs, and somehow always manages to work with your schedule to find a convenient time for your family. The office is extremely clean, organized, and is designed with kids in mind - everything about the visit is so much fun. It's also extremely efficient and Dr. Armakan and his staff are so communicative. We first saw Dr. Armakan for a severe lip and tongue tie that really impacted by micro-preemie's ability to eat solid foods. He came highly recommended by a leading occupational and speech therapists in the area and I can see why - he's an expert. He took time to really assess my little one and explain his findings. We were able to complete the procedure right after our assessment which saved us another trip and so much time. They handled a wiggle baby like a champ and provided clear instructions for what us parents should expect and could do to aid with healing. The procedure was perfect and we had a great outcome! I was so pleased with the care my little one received that we switched dentists and brought our toddler here, too. He was so enthralled by the office and happily hopped in the chair. The hygienist offered kid friendly options our other pediatric dentist didn't have (like chocolate flavored toothpaste for cleaning!). The exam was much more thorough than our last dentist, too. Dr. Armakan also talked about his pallet and a lip tie that had previously gone unnoticed. Seeing a good dentist is much more than just looking at teeth, especially in the pediatric population. The fact that we have been using him and recommending him to our friends is because he is very good--good at what he does and also how he treats his patients. He as well as his staff is very friendly, personable, understanding, caring. In twenty years I have seen some turnover in his staff but, the culture of the office is such, they are all professional yet warm and caring. Dr. Pishdad is a patient, low key doctor. He, of course, runs a business but thinks of the patient first. He is not pushy with the treatment he suggests. He tries to conserve the teeth instead of ripping them out. He listens to you. He is real not fake. And is very good at what he does. I feel that even his prices are very reasonable compared to other doctors that I had tried in the beginning. He takes most insurances. During one visit, David got mad and stated, "Did you see your teeth before coming to me?". In a separate visit, Medhy stated, "Since you're the expert, you tell me what I should do." All because I asked a simple question. They do not like to be questioned about their work. They take offense and become child like. Instead of listening to me as a paying client, they want to inform me how great they are and how most people would be thankful in my position, as if they're GOD! Sir, I paid for a service.
