When I had an emergency during the holidays while my own dentist's office was closed, my husband encouraged me to call Dr. Carlson's office. They were able to fit me in with Dr. Stanton. Long story short, I was so pleased and impressed with my experience, I'm making the change! Gina and Michelle at the front office are wonderful...so kind and caring. Rocio, Dr. Stanton's dental assistant, has a big heart, sweet disposition and is very eager to insure the physical and emotional comfort of the patient. Then there's Dr. Stanton: He is THE BEST! I'm a challenging patient, but Dr. Stanton has such a gentle caring manner. He really takes the time to understand the patient's issues and makes every effort to waylay fears and anxiety. I felt he genuinely cared about me and accepted my quirks without judgement. He took ample time to explain everything in detail and insured I didn't have any other questions. I was very anxious going to someone new. I first scheduled x-rays and and cleaning. Front office & hygienist were profesional and friendly. I had a concussion a few years ago that left me sensitive to certain sounds and I was anxious about the dental drills. Dr Stanton met with me after my cleaning and carefully introduced the sounds to me to see if removing the crown was going to need a special approach. Things went well and he was able to remove and replace the crown with no problems. I really liked that they were able to make the crown in their office that morning and I didn't have to walk out with a temporary. The appointment from start to finish only took a few hours and I was comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend.

Dr. Stephan Barrington is my new dentist and I am so grateful I found him and this office. He and his assistant took great care of me and never seemed rushed or distracted. I was able to get a crown and a filling all in one appointment. The permanent crown is done that day! No waiting weeks with a fragile temporary. My husband guilted me into going to a dentist (not because my teeth were disgusting lol) but because we were paying for my dental insurance & it was going to waste. SO I googled nearby dental offices & made an appointment with A Smile Shoppe & I wasn't looking forward to it... WELL to my surprise - from the moment I walked in I was BLOWN AWAY. This is not just any old dentist's office. This place is so clean & modern and the receptionists are all super friendly & sweet. I was still cautious & nervous about what was going to happen once I went back. Well ANOTHER SURPRISE! My technician was amazing & my cleaning was not painful OR messy!
