I've done the fake lash extensions for years now and they just don't do it for me anymore. I also don't want to look like Mr. Snuffleupagus when I'm trying to look cute. If I do get falsies I'm lucky if they last a week. I've also done magnetic lashes too but those don't stay on well resulting in the corners being undone. I wanted my lashes to look as natural as possible with some curl to it. My lashes naturally lie flat and even with mascara, they don't appear to stand out. Lash perms can give your own lashes the extra curl needed. Most of all the perms last for at least a month! Odette was sweet, calm and patient with me given this was my first time doing this. She explained the process and checked in with me often since the perm solution they put on can cause mild stinging. I felt that but it didn't cause serious discomfort. In the days ahead, my eyes did crust up but what I was left with were a beautiful set of lashes that were of my own, just a bit enhanced to give you that va-va-va voom oomph to your look. If paired with eyelash primer and a coat of mascara, they stand out guaranteeing you won't get that Snuffleupagus aesthetic. I would definitely recommend lash perms for a special occasion/vacation. My session lasted an hour allowing for relaxation. In fact, I took a 20-minute nap while on the table! Parking is a breeze with Posh Beauty situated in a large strip mall with adequate free parking. I left a vm at 5:30am for my 4:30pm appointment. I told them I was sick and didn't want to get anyone there sick. They told me I'd be charged $30, and it could go towards my next service. A few days later, I was charged $30 without my consent. The owner has specified that the $30 would go towards my next service. So I'm not sure why they charged my card. I'm not planning to return, it's not run very well. I'll travel further for better service.

Thankfully, I caught the reminder in time to cancel, with plans to reschedule when I got back from out of town. A few days later, I received another reminder. When I asked my daughter, I found out she had also scheduled appointments for herself and her other sister. Since the cancellations were within 24 hours of the appointments, I understood there would be a fee. Per their policy, I expected a $30 charge for each late cancellation. This was our first time ever needing to cancel on short notice. To my surprise, not only did they charge my card $60, but they also charged my daughter another $60. I don't recall ever giving consent to keep my card on file, let alone to be charged like this. The way they handled this situation was unprofessional, and this experience has definitely left a bad taste. We won't be returning.

She has taken zero accountability or action to resolve this. Even though she fried my hair, she will not refund as she says "a service was provided." Romelia is the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with and should not be allowed to be in business. Romelia disappeared and left me in the chair for over an hour with bleach on my hair while she did laundry/other things. My hair is absolutely fried, I had bleach spots that did not blend, the hair all around my face completely broke off, which will take YEARS to grow back and I was charged for a bayalage, even though she only did a partial highlight. And the worst part is that I reached out to her in an extremely kind manner to resolve this multiple times and she has taken zero accountability for her mistakes. In fact, she read my message I wrote in tears and chose not to respond for 4 days (although she had time to continue posting on instagram) which is extremely unprofessional. I went into the salon with inspiration photos but also seeking Romelia's advice because I told her I wanted to go blonde but my most important goal was to maintain the integrity of my hair. She told me she could do what I asked without a problem or damage. I left with yellow hair, bleach spots throughout and my hair looked like a skunk in a ponytail by how streaky she left it. It was not blended at all and within 2 days, all the hair around my face began breaking off. I messaged her with photos and she asked me to come back in to fix it. I asked her if we could do a root melt to blend my base color into the highlights and tone my hair to fix the brassy blonde. She told me the only two toners in the industry that were available were warm and ash. I know that color is a wide spectrum and that this was not true. I told her I didn't want to be grey and that is exactly how she toned my hair anyways. At the end, I told her I no longer felt blonde and wasn't sure I would get used to it. She told me that she would not charge me and then asked if I wanted a few waves in my hair, I told her yes if she had time and then she proceeded to charge me $50 styling for waves that took her 2 mins and fell out within an hour. A true professional can admit their wrongs and also admit when they don't know how to fix their mistakes (therefore referring you to someone else). I left with grey hair, more bleach spots and my hair falling out into even further chunks. I had to get bangs today by another stylist just to try to hide the damage because my hair is 3 inches long in the front and along the sides now. I have huge holes in my hair (that goes down to my mid back) that I will now need extensions to fill in for the next several years while it grows back. Every stylist in the salon that fixed my hair was shocked at the amount of overprocessing and breakage I had. PLEASE learn from my mistake and do not go here if you value your hair/sanity.
