This company came out an installed my unit through Choice Home Warranty and the Nathan Rankin came out, He finished the job and said absolutely nothing to me and just left my property without a word and when I called to ask him why my brand new unit was struggling to start he told me it's normal. I have 2 units and as soon as he finished in my attic and left, my other unit stopped cooling and it was fine before he installed my new unit. I reached out to him and he said he was coming the next day and cancelled the original time and then sent me a text saying he would be here later and that was just a flat out lie! I reached out to him 2 different times and he he said the same and never showed. They charged me $1370 and I now have a brand new unit that sounds like crap and is struggling to run and the unit that was working fine before he got here is now blowing nothing but hot air since he left and it's only a couple of years old. I'm putting in a report to the BBB 1st thing in the morning. I think he messed something up and just left after being paid. Stay Away!! A lot of talk but not honest at all!!! Hopefully the Better Business Bureau will look into this company and do something about them. I'm hiring another company to come check my air conditioning and if it's something he did I am having my lawyer contact them to start legal proceedings. 05/30/2024 I hired another ac company to come out to my house and check why my new unit that was not working properly and why my other unit was blowing hot air even though it had no leaks and is only 2 years old and I had Nathan Rankin email this morning upset about my review and told me to never call his company again and I now know why. A reputable business man would have want to talk to a dissatisfied customer to see what the problem is instead of saying don't ever call my company again, which I didn't call them to do the work in the 1st place, they were sent by the home warranty company. I reported this to the home warranty company but there is nothing they can do other than not use them again which is what they said they were going to do. He let the coolant out of my other unit and I have proof because my other unit is only 2 years old and it has never been touched but the king valve had been opened and the cap had oil on it and he tried to put the cap back on using Teflon tape and I have photos to prove it. For a unit to be blowing very cold air and stop as soon as he left my property and started to blow hot air, there had to be something done to it and this company said that the coolant was either let out purposely of he made a mistake and did something wrong, granted this company that told me this has been in business for 30 years and they said that they would gladly provide me a statement of all that he found wrong to prove that there was a mistake or something done intentionally. They also aske me why the brand new unit is sitting on rocks instead of a ac foundation base and it cost over $3000. The same company that made the unit that he let the coolant out of is the same company that provided the smaller unit 2 years ago and it came with a base. I never do reviews but thought that this guy had done a good job until I found out I was mistaken, i see why he left and did not check to see if it was cooling or come in the house to meter the air like Brandon did, he knew he had screwed me over! I should have waited until Brandon was available and maybe I would not have had this problem and have to pay another large amount of money to find out what the problem was and simply put, the problem was the guy who installed it and he had the audacity to call me a liar. read more
