I've tried their matcha latte multiple times and it's honestly comparable to some of the famous matcha spots in OC and LA. The matcha is smooth with a medium bodied mouthfeel, a velvety texture, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their thai tea is also excellent but my favorite drink has to be the hojicha black sesame with boba. The hojicha has an amazing roasted aroma while the black sesame salted cream adds a rich, nutty, and savory depth that makes the drink incredibly addictive. The handmade boba is the real highlight. It's soft yet chewy at the same time, it's just the perfect texture. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and I appreciate that they offer a stamp card for returning customers. The shop itself is on the smaller side, but the retro vibe, cute art wall, and full length mirror make it a fun place to hang out and snap a few pictures. This has become a staple in my drink rotation and I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.

Before walking in, there's also a posted sign that says only 10 people at a time. We counted about 6 people, and proceeded to walk in. The decor is timeless and vintage. Super cool to look at and enjoy. We turned around and there was the cashier. It definitely is a small as can be. We took a bit of time looking at the menu and then deciding our drinks. We were a bit indecisive, but settled on their Rose Salted Cream and their Hojicha Black Sesame. The cashier was a bit interesting and didn't bother to help us or explain anything. He had us repeat our order a few times out of inattentiveness. It wasn't loud in there, but he definitely wasn't listening. Immediately after our order, he goes on his phone. Another worker had finished making a drink for a customer, and had to nudge the cashier to let him know the drink was ready. Even then, he wasn't on alert about it and made a face at the customer who stood up to grab the drink. Our drinks came out fairly quickly. We took our photos and left to sit in the car. It was quite small and stuffy in there. Our drinks were delightful! You can definitely taste the hojicha. The black sesame didn't overpower the drink, as for the rose salted cream, it was flowery enough. The boba itself was definitely handmade and perfectly chewy. I can understand why this store's drinks are a favorite. I deducted a star because of the service and attitude. We walked out the door saying goodbye, and even then, they didn't seem to care. The customer service here is lacking, but at least the drinks are decent. I might wait to see if any changes are made to their workers before coming back to try again.

It's one of their most popular drinks and for good reason. My wife's drink, the Moon Princess was in my opinion, even better than the Matcha Storm. I don't know how to really describe it, but it was a taste that I had rarely seen. It was super refreshing, a mix of floral and oolong, it was just the perfect drink. I was pleasantly surprised when driving by the area that there was a highly rated boba place I hadn't been to before. When I walked in, I was surprised by how busy it was. There was a line for the kiosk and after I ordered my drinks, the line was consistently to the door. There was a very wide selection of drinks to choose from and I appreciate them having unique flavors and twists to drink. I was contemplating between a matcha einspanner and the oksusu (corn) matcha latte. When I asked if there was a way to mix the two, Taylor was super friendly and helpful to explain how each drink was made and differed from one another and then took the time to give me options on how I could change up my drink. I ended up going with the oksusu matcha latte because the Korean in me loves corn drinks but Taylor had the barista add a rim of matcha syrup that you typically get in the einspanner. I loved the oksusu flavored foam with the little crunchy puffs. The matcha flavor was a little lighter than I typically like but still props for the unique take. My hubby got the Hokkaido milk tea. It was definitely a very sweet drink with a caramel like syrup in it which is different than how we've had Hokkaido milk tea at other boba places. If you aren't into super sweet drinks, I would recommend going lighter on the sweet level. You order through the two available kiosks here.
