Oh, how I wished I'd taken photos! But I was meeting a friend I hadn't seen in several months for a late lunch and we were so busy catching up! Lovely fresh flowers on the outside of the building, crisp and clean interior, plenty of seating in indoors and outdoors. We chose the covered outdoor section, because of the weather was lovely today. My iced lavender latte was phenomenal, perfectly sweetened. My friend had the iced dirty chai, which she loved, as well. The menu was so vast that we had difficulty choosing what we wanted to eat. I've already determined that I will go back with my husband to try more items! But for today, I ordered the mushroom Swiss Panini, and she ordered the Caprese on a ciabatta bun. We chose these sandwiches already knowing that we would swap a half to be able to try both! We were not disappointed. The bread on the mushroom Swiss was buttery toasted goodness, and cheese to mushroom ratio was just right. Stopped by after my mom's doctor appointment. We were a little excited when we saw it on Yelp. They have very cute outdoor seating with shade, which is what initially drew us in. I ordered some of their most popular items, including the prosciutto avocado toast, a summer salad, and another avocado toast that I honestly forgot the name of. Overall, they were not very good except for the summer salad since it was fresh fruit and felt refreshing. A bit disappointing. The service felt quite cold and impatient, and it honestly felt like we were being looked over from head to toe. The server seemed young, but not very welcoming or energetic. Interesting place that is sort of industrial, wide open inside. Order at the counter and they call your number to pick up at the food station. There is a lot of variety on the large menu, maybe too much to decide while waiting in line, but that's not a criticism. I got the prosciutto avocado toast and it was fantastic, much more prosciutto and Parmesan than I was expecting. It was quite good on the ciabatta bread. The salads looked amazing so I'll have to try one next time if I can convince myself not to get this avocado toast again. And the lemonade was just the right mix of tart and sweet. They have their rules on the table, which tells me something, not sure what, about the proprietor. Overall it did not detract from the meal, just an FYI. read more

The indoor dining area has a very calming elegant ambience with some seats of velvet upholstery and high back chairs! I got the Asian chicken salad wrap but I was a bit disappointed because it was good, but just so insanely messy, the wrap was so soggy that the tortilla was falling a ripping apart, the dressing inside was getting all over my hands and dripping down to my wrists, on top of that I came here to study so my hands were all dirty from the soggy wrap and it just wasn't enjoyable to eat because of how messy it was. As you can tell by the picture I gave up trying to eat neatly with this wrap and I dumped the salad out on my plate. I came alone so I didnt get to try that many items on the menu, but I got the prosciutto Avocado toast, jalapeño and cheese croissant and their tropical green tea which is part of their fountain drinks. The exterior was so beautiful, from the flowers to their patio dining area. The interior was nice and nostalgic- it felt like a university dining hall with the layout, and the drink and sandwich pick-up counters. The sandwiches were large, definitely getting your money's worth portion-wise. Unfortunately, my caprese panini had the thinnest layers of fresh mozzarella and pesto (I was basically just eating tomatoes and jam). The jam was overly sweet to the point that I felt I was eating dessert rather than lunch. Otherwise, my boyfriend enjoyed the California Chicken Sandwich, which came with a generous side of ranch! The ranch was one of the best I've ever had (I tried it in an attempt to overpower the jam on my sandwich). For drinks, we shared a peach Italian soda, which was so creamy and refreshing! The cashier and the barista were very friendly! However, the employee at the deli/sandwich kitchen was not. He was dry when I thanked him (I don't even know why I thanked him, all he did was call our number and walk away before I even reached the counter). We noticed our ranch was missing. Not sure why it wasn't placed on the plate or the tray, when there was plenty of room... When my boyfriend went up to ask for it, nobody acknowledged him, and luckily he saw the ranch just sitting there on the counter. Somewhat disappointing in the customer service department (The jam did not affect my rating, as I don't know the basis for a balsamic onion jam- maybe they're meant to be extremely sweet? Following an early morning appointment in Redlands, I decided to get some breakfast, and Four Corners Eatery (FCE) came onto my radar. The menu looked intriguing, so it was off to FCE. The walk up to FCE is very nice, with a well-designed plant wall and a sort of alcove-type front entry that creates anticipation for the food to come. I had the Caprese Avocado Toast and a Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, totaling ~$21 all in. The orange juice was excellent, as it should be, given its $9.95 price. I did not see it being squeezed, but I assume it was, and it certainly tasted freshly squeezed. The Caprese Avocado Toast, at $10.45, was generously topped but lacked much avocado. I was expecting avocado toast to really highlight the avocado, yet this dish put more emphasis on the "Caprese" toppings, including a plethora of marinated tomatoes, a hint of mozzarella, microgreens of some sort (did not taste like micro basil), and a nice drizzle of reduced balsamic vinegar, all on a Ciabatta roll. If there was a drizzle of olive oil present, I could not see or taste it. Overall, the Caprese Avocado Toast would have been a hit with 50% more avocado. Inside, FCE has a very open floor plan with high ceilings, concrete floors, and hard walls, so even small amounts of noise seem to be magnified by the environment. When I first arrived, noise was not an issue because the place was about 15% occupied. But before I left, a couple of tables of ~6 eaters came in, and the noise level increased dramatically. One adjacent table was particularly noisy, occupied by 6 cacklers who seemed to want to talk over one another, all while upspeaking and prolonging their vowels. I do take exception to FCE's vibe. The place uses a Euro-industrial male voice to announce order numbers. What message is FCE trying to convey? Are American Patriots not welcome? I also take exception to FCE using so much plastic, particularly plasticware, for dine-in customers. The plasticware even comes individually wrapped, in you guessed it, more plastic. Plastic waste and microplastics are a huge environmental and health problem in the USA, with microplastics being detected even in the brains of infants! I challenge FCE to significantly reduce its use of plastic, starting specifically with dine-in customers, and at least head in the right direction environmentally and health wise. read more

We were driving through San Bernardino on the way home from Big Bear and needed a place to stop for food. Of course, I turned to Yelp! I asked for a sandwich shop that has a pet-friendly area that is good for kids. This place was the winner. The sandwiches that husband and I got were delish as well as the latte that I ordered. The kicker is that they had FAB kids meals. Grilled cheese AND PB&J meals with drinks and chips. Perfect for my picky eaters. The patio area was great for the pup. After several hours at the nearby (and fabulous) San Bernadino County Museum (q.v), my cousin and I were famished and looked for a nearby place for a bite and beverage. Luckily, Four Corners was very close, so we checked it out. This casual eatery has a laid back vibe, indoor and outdoor seating, greenery decor, interesting lighting, and a menu offering many items, in addition to a case with pastries. My cousin ordered a pastrami sandwich and coffee, and I ordered a sandwich and salad combo of 1/2 veggie sandwich and the spinach and quinoa salad. The coffee and other drinks are made at one counter, and the salads and sandwiches are made at another counter. My 1/2 sandwich was huge with veggies protruding from between the bread slices. My salad was also large, and colorful with garbanzos, olives, feta, and quinoa on a bed of spinach. All was delicious and hit the spot. My cousin liked her choices, too. 1st time here. My coworker had a sandwich the other day and it looked really good so I thought I'd try it. I got the 1/2 salad 1/2 sandwich. The Kale Caesar salad was excellent. The Turkey cranberry sandwich was ok - there was very little turkey (1 slice) and a ton of cranberry, so the ratio was a bit off. The bread was really good though. This is an update review from its former business. It is currently Four Corners Eatery & Coffee Bar. As you can see from my outside pic, this is a straight-forward eatery and coffee shop. Before you enter towards the left, there is a cute little patio on the right (east side), see pic. The interior is cavernous: the coffee and drink station is straight ahead and the salad/food area is on the east side. This place is a bit off Redlands Blvd (and the beaten path) but makes for a calmer environment and experience. This is enhanced by the soft music playing in the background. Also, and greatly appreciated, was that their chairs had small cushions on the bottom of the chair legs so when you moved them they didn't screech on the concrete floor. On this mid-morning and week day, break, there were a fair amount of customers. But there was still ample room for us. You can see from my pics, the prepared food items. We had the "Glorious Morning" muffin. I've attached pics of their menus for other options. Check out my pic of their menu QR code: it worked on my desk top computer and cell phone - FYI. Our cup of cold brew coffee was good, see my pic. But the Glorious Muffin was very good. I guess this place has been here for 5 years and was called something different before, but it seems they still are having some growing pains. With that being said, their sandwiches are HUGE and DELICIOUS. They use quality ingredients and large portions that could equal 1-2 meals. I placed an order online for pickup and estimated wait time was 20 mins, so I waited 15 mins before heading over. It was a decently busy day there, but nothing I would call chaotic. Finding the pickup area was confusing as there is no clear sign besides a small translucent one not facing the entrance. Waited about 25 more mins for my food for a grand total of 45 mins for 2 sandwiches, but it ended up being worth the wait. Staff was friendly. Overall: amazing food. Good portions. Friendly staff. Came here for a little family get-together and the staff seemed a little unhappy about that. We were all moved twice because we were "taking up the space for their lunch rush" which we never really saw. A few more people came after my family all got there but we never saw a huge rush and the place didn't fill up. I didn't think it would anyways as it was a Saturday morning. Food was okay here. Nothing to write home about and the coffee was VERY strong which I would've appreciated if I hadn't ordered a flavored sweet latte that ended up just tasting like a strong cup of coffee.
