He told me I could go to an auto parts store and get 1 and they would discount the oil change. I went to O'reily and got the filter then went back. Gave the tech the filter and they changed the oil and filter. When they gave me the bill it was for the full amount, I reminded him I went and the filter. He went and got the manager, I paid $20.84 for the filter, he discounted the bill $10. I said that the tech ask me to go get 1 and he said he was paying what they charged for the filter. Auburn Tire helped me with patching my tire and then when that didn't fix the leak (because a cut…read moreon the side of the tire), they replaced my tire in less than an hour! But, after they replaced my tire they told me I should also replace all my break pads and my rotors... not a cheap fix. I decided to wait and ended up taking it to a place in Phenix City near where I work instead. He told me my rotors are COMPLETELY FINE and do NOT need to be replaced. He told me all I needed was new break pads on the front and an oil change... which cost less than half of what Auburn Tire had tried to charge me. Suggest getting a second opinion after looking into Auburn Tire.

I remember when cars was damage there was no hesitation in taking care of the customer's issue. 6 years later, I do not know what happened to that standard. I have never heard of a company providing bad oil for vehicles and then not having any accoutnability for it. My mechanic advised that the oil was extremely bad. Both my vehicles engines have gone bad behind the oil provided by Take 5 and the manager talked to my wife soooo disrespectful about this situation, i will never take my car to Goo-Goo car wash, Take 5 or any other company associated with Driven Brands. I usually wouldn't put this type of review but when your manager dodges any accountability, talks to my wife crazy and then accuse me of sabotaging my own cars, there is nothing else to talk about. These folks care more about their bottom line than doing the right thing. There is no excuse. If I could give a 0 star I would. I will be filing a BBB report and I will not be letting this go. Your managers need to be fired and your quality of oil has caused issues to more than just my cars and the reviews from FL and the other area stores have similar stories to mine. Your quality of oil is crap from top to bottom and the level of care for your faithful customers is crap. If you want to make sure your car gets good service and good oil, do not come to Take 5.
