However, if you have sensitive skin like me, the wax may cause some swelling. Be prepared to wait on the weekends as it does get very busy. Do not come here for any facial waxing services. The woman who did my brows, upper lip and chin burned my face. She kept pointing how red I was getting claiming I have sensitive skin. I do have sensitive skin... but I never BURN. The redness I had was due to the wax being too hot and causing burns on my skin, not my "sensitive". I wax myself at home and I found it odd how it hurt so much, til i got home and noticed the redness never went away because I was burned by the wax. Never coming here again. I wish I wouldve noticed at the store that I was burnt because I should've never paid for this service. The esthetician was even very aggressive while applying cooling gel and cortisone cream. I use to come here religiously every 2 weeks to get my eyebrows done By Lissy. She knew how I wanted them and would get them right every time. Eventually they became thinner and I lost my shape so I took a break to grow them out. 6 months later I find out Lissy is no longer with Rapid wax so I decided to come and try Jenny which I've heard she's really good too. Turns out she was busy and I didn't want to wait so I did them with Vanessa. I'm happy I stepped out of my comfort zone because I'm extremely picky when it comes to my eyebrows and Vanessa actually did a good job. Vanessa did my eyebrows. My eyebrows got a bit messed up at the dadeland rapid wax and she noticed one of mine was shorter. Vanessa honestly took her time to make sure my eyebrows looked the best they could. For my eyebrows I usually don't have a preference in picking a person but I think I finally found someone I'll request. My eyebrows were super itchy after but it's expected. They should have someone at the counter to answer questions for people that walk in. Instead they were working on me and she was answering every question while I was getting my eyebrows waxed!!! not even able to concentrate it was very aggravating and very disappointing luckily for the five minutes that she did work on me they came out good but can you imagine?!?!? for 5min I literally got a headache after. I always get my bikini/armpit wax here after I've tried it with Livania on the first time. She makes the process less painful, and talks to you to entertain you as well. I love how fast she is. I am a big fan of Rapid Wax, even though I think it is a little overpriced, every time I go... they never fail me. I usually go to the one at Dadeland Mall and I do my brows with Yanderis and she is AMAZING. She's the queen of all eyebrows!! I have thick, dark eyebrows that are very stubborn and uneven but she manages to tame the madness of my brows and they always come out super beautiful. This time, I came to The Falls Rapid Wax since it's closer to my house and I was in a rush to get them done. I did them with Olga. Some time had passed by since I got my eyebrows done and they were really uneven. She evened out my brows and gave them some shape. She's amazing, I definitely recommend having your brows done by her if you're in The Falls location. What I love about Rapid Wax is that before they wax, they shape your brows and then start waxing. The wax is not too hot and it's not painful at all. I have super sensitive skin and really thick hair yet I have never gotten burned or gotten any rashes after getting waxed. I came before the pandemic and honestly everything was great, but today's experienced makes me never want to go again. The wait was a bit long because they were gossiping with clients, but that was no big deal. I got an eyebrow and upper lip wax. My eyebrows are now slightly uneven and a lot thinner despite just asking for a clean up. My biggest issue really was the upper lip wax. I kid you not, I left this location with the same amount of hair on the left side of my upper lip that I walked in with. I have no idea what she waxed on that side and how she couldn't see it. I been going to the Rapid Wax since last 2 years the staff was super amazing. They changed somethinh over last few months and got pathetic staff.. One of the staff did my brows today and I told her i wamt it certain way and she did it completely different ruining it when m actually flying today out of country. When i told her this is not how i told her she has not done how I asked she started justifying that now its look better. I am fuming atleast not going to them again. I absolutely understand that we are in a pandemic but the doors say that they are open and I am sure there are dying for their business to remain alive they only had two ladies available today at 4:30 on a random Tuesday. Then they said that they both had to attend the same customer because it was a huge bikini waxing ...must be both "hairy" and "scary" I think that anyone that pops in and is able to do a quick eyebrow wax should be attended first or simultaneously why can't one lady complete one bikini wax and the other attend me ? Worst place I have ever been too. First of all, there was five staff workers and you mean to tell me, no one can acknowledge your existence? After waiting for a bit, one of the ladies, said she could take care of me. I was thinking about doing upper lip and eyebrows but I'm sorta happy/mad that I did my upper lip. Worst experience ever. The wax was scorching hot and tears in my face. I told her the wax was too hot but she didn't listen. The worst part was when she put the wax and didn't even let it dry for a bit. She literally put the wax, immediately put the wax strip, and yanked the wax strip off. I've been to other places where they do it within three to four strips. She only did two and was such in a rush and there was no there AT ALL. Staff were all talking amongst themselves. What made the matter worse, I paid in cash and was about to tip and she gave me the disgusted look ever, like I wasn't going to tip her. Been going to caro for about a year now, only person I trust with my eyebrows. She's the best!!! no complaints.

Both time that I went to this place my eyebrows were "destroyed". First time I got hurt, I sent an email complaining and they didn't care at all!!!! They didn't want to who did it, what happened, even apologies took place. I decided to give a second chance and I regret completely! They again ruined by eyebrow. They have 3 sizes (a molde) and the medium one was not available, so the lady said, I will do the large one and I can get a bit smaller after, to get close to the medium one. What a mistake!!! She did it, terrible result, each one is different and completely out of shape with several imperfection! I have something important next week and will have to show up like this! Terrible! After my daughter's wax lady left for maternity, my experience here has been awful. The lady that recently did my daughter's eyebrows didn't seem to know what she was doing. She took 30 minutes after some much needed intervention from another lady and left my kid's face bruised and swollen like I've never seen before. Unfortunately, we're going with someone else now. I'm not sure how long she would have taken if the other lady didn't jump in. The final result was not worth the money. A random nail salon could have done a better job. read more
