I hope this review is gonna be helpful for most of u guys 1-Parking situation: when u just get to the park there is a sign $20 parking(rip off) and next to it there is another one for $10 lol, still i drove 2 blocks and park in shopping near by.(for free) 2-line to by the tickets and get in: be ready to wait almost a hour to get in, a lot of people skipping the line and stuff, average price $40 per person(rip off) and $7 + $2 deposit for looker(SAY WHAAAAT) yep!!!$100 for 2. 3-Food: by far worst junk food i ever eat in this country(im serious about his point), just the fact to have to wait 40 minutes to buy a nasty hot dog, i throw it on the floor after the fist bite, an employee was passing by at that moment and i said! YES TASTE THAT BAD! she replied (Im sorry) but she didn't compliant about it cuz she knows is true. (and u cant even get ur own stuff WHY THE HELL NO?) i was so piss off already before ride any attraction. 4-The rides and the lines (this is my favorite point) if wonder how the rides are? YES they are good. i spend my whole day in the park and i took 7, so that means one hour each one waiting standing under the sun for a one min ride LOL, really doesn't worth. but after drive 80 miles from south beach well i have to do this was the fist time and was already there. 5-Service all the employees are teens, and i could see most of them were really tired and wanted to go home so bad, but HEY! i dont blame them after so many hours under the sun, but still i was impressed with the service, great JOB guys!!!! for the few bucks they are getting paid per hour was great service and they could handle so many people and the place was clean enough. OVERALL i will not comeback to this place. next time ill go to universal or something were your money will be well expended. read more

Around lunch time, all the employees go to eat at the cafeteria at the same time as the customers, and the people serving the food put the entire customer food line on hold and serve all the food to the employees on lunch, on top of that, there are only 4 windows to order from and rather than having one dedicated to delivering the food, the same windows you order the food from are where people are waiting to get the food, so it's a complete mess, we waited over an hour and a half for our food between the time we first set foot in line and received our last item, we also ordered two quesadillas and never received the second one, because they forgot to make it, so we had to ask for a refund. Overall that is the worst amusement park dining experience I have ever come across, plus with those insanely steep prices you are better off getting in your car driving to get food and driving back, the wait would be just as long anyways, otherwise it was a nice park, the employees seem to be a bit brain dead and careless but I didn't expect much more. Will not be going back again personally. read more

Worst water park experience ever! The workers are rude, the food is uneatable, little kids cutting lines.. horrible!!

The slides and attractions are pretty decent at Rapids. That's about the only thing that is decent. The employees at Rapids are horrendous. Customer service is extremly poor. The lines are extremely slow and the lifeguards seem to get their jollies by making the wait as miserable as possible and seem to have superiority complex issues. They also have scales to weigh bigger people that sit out in the rain and elements and are all rusted and set to 250 pounds and then have people weigh themselves and the rusted scale barely moves. For one I am 230 pounds and it barely moved from 250 so I "barely" passed to be able to ride the slides. Also if it rains your are SOL. Even after it clears up and skies are perfectly blue with no clouds in sight for well over an hour that take their sweet time in getting back to their posts and re-opening the park. Last time I went, which I am from out of town and was getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan, they closed down ther park and had me wait around for 2 extra hours since I had a special circumstance only to be told I can only get a re-entry pass for 30 days, they same they gave everyone else. The Asst Manger on duty, due to the Manger being out of town for a funeral, was the most disrespectful, rude and ignorant woman I have ever met in the service industry. I was told to call the manger after she returned from the funeral because she was much more customer friendly but I called several times and was told she was out working in the park and I never received a call back despite leaving my contact information several times as well. After I redeploy from here in Afghanistan I am submitting Rapids to the Federal Off-Limits Establishment List for military personnel and federal employees due to predatory practices directed against military personnel/federal employees. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by the nice, clean facilities, exciting variety of rides, and fun atmosphere!

My kids love this place! Stay all day long, a lot to do. Food a bit overpriced and not very tasty, but will keep u from starving....no coolers inside park. They do have benches and tables outside entrance, in which many leave their snacks and drinks (if you are trusting). Got to be sly to get any snacks inside as they search bags. One bottle of water permitted for each person to take inside park. They do have small lockers for a price, and upon returning locker key, you get some cash back. Careful buying year passes as park is closed much of the year/weekdays, check dates to see if its worth it first. Parking is extra 10.00. My kids can easily arrive when doors open and stay till closing. :) read more

My family and I absolutely love Rapids Water park. We bought season passes and its a great deal. With the passed you get souvenir cups that are usually $10, free parking passes, and ten percent off of the food. All of the rides are so fun and there is something there that anyone would like. The lazy river is nice and relaxing and the wave pool is really cool. There's so many rides and things to do. Also the food is really good. All of the staff inside the park are really nice, though the parking attendants were extremely rude. The only bad reviews that I've read were from over weight people who were over the weight limit for safety reasons. read more

Take it for what it is- a water park. For a fun day in the sun and watersides what more could you want??? We were a little hesitant to go as we heard horror stories of floating Band-Aids everywhere LOL, but we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. It's a little on the expensive side at almost 50$ a ticket for general admission and parking ranges from $10-20. You are allowed one water bottle a person and no food. However you can bring a cooler and there is an area right at the entrance to set up, and you are allowed to re-enter the park all day. read more

Only water park close to dade/Broward county. I haven't been to it in over 3 years, but last time I was there it was a lot of fun. There is plenty of slides and even slides you can go with a few friends which is always exiting. Expect to have a good time here. read more

This is the only water park i have been to so i cannot compare it to anything else but we had a blast here. We came after 4pm for the afternoon prices and it was much cheaper and gives you plenty of time to ride everything and you don't get burned by the midday sun. There is a huge lazy river and plenty of rides that come in all sizes and speeds, not a single slide let us down , the black and blue thunder are both completely crazy, at the point of the drop i felt my body leave the slide it was extremely scary . The only bad thing is one of the staff members was rude and looked like he hated the job with a passion, they should do a better job hiring. read more

We had so much fun there this summer. The lifeguards and staff are all super friendly, helpful and down to earth. The park in itself is great but when you have lifeguards cracking you up while you wait in line or patiently answering your questions about the ride, it makes the experience so much better read more

Took a son and his friend here and they had a blast. No lines except or the food. The food is so so, though I appreciate the salad option. The staff is friendly and helpful. I did a few rides, then st and read in the shade while the boys continued their fun. Yes, as other posters said, do the $10 parking. This park needs help. The structures is full of rust and really needs to be better maintain! Some of the Paths to walk on are on fire, they need a better way to keep the walkways cool or wet. But overall you pay what you get. read more

Would give 0 stars if an option. What a disaster!! Totally unorganized and completely disfunctional. With a large private group (1000+). Waited over an hour to get into parking lot 0.2 miles from road. Yes over an hour to move less than quarter mile!! Only one person collecting parking fee of $10 for all those cars!! And still had the gall to charge after waiting sooooo long. Got to entrance gate and told wrist bands given to organization were invalid.... had to wait another 45 minutes in another line to get orange wrist bands and tickets! Seriously??? Suppose to have dinner here. Expectations are at an all time low. Dreading the thought of all these cars trying to get out of the one entrance/exit at closing.... read more

My children and their friends had a fantastic time, so Yes for FUN! My major complaint is the tiki bar area smelled horrible, even to walk by it was enough to make your stomach turn. But as far as a Water Park goes for fun for the family, it's great for just that. read more

Had an enjoyable day at the water park! Went on a Monday so it wasn't too crowded, but found I was still waiting up to 30 mins for a water slide. The newer water rides are great just always a long line! The water park itself is prettt large, but I found it was a little dirty in some areas. I would give this place a higher rating if they would clean it up a bit. The water rises are very good but it's not Disneyworld caliper and I guess I'm spoiled by that benchmark. They also need to be a bit better about letting you bring in your own meals because their selection is really slim to none. Took the family here while on vacation. We rented a Cabana which was well worth the money. Water park was clean and everyone enjoyed all the different slides. The food was a bit pricey but was good for park food. The park closed an hour early because of a severe storm but we were able to ride everything twice. Probably not the best water park in the U.S. but we had a great time and I feel it was money well spent. read more

I love the rapids, it's the best place to tan while actually having somewhat fun. I'm more of a waterpark than beach type person anyway. Great gift shop too with waterproof accessories for your phone and keys incase you don't trust lockers or burying them in plants. read more

The kids will love this place. Lots of slides, wave pool, and a lazy river. The adults may get slightly annoyed. It's always overcrowded and expensive to get in. Overall this is a great local water park. It isn't big like the ones you would find in orlando but it can be just as much fun. There are a variety of slides to go on and there is also this giant wave pool. I have been coming here for over 10 years and not once have i been disappointed. The first thing you need to know about Rapids is that this place thinks so little of itself that they don't even have a gift shop that sells park related merchandise. It's like they already know that anyone over the age of 12 that has ever been to a respectable water park in their lives will not want anything to take home to remember this place by. They should have bought more land before they constructed this place, but since they didn't, and they wanted to pack as many slides into this little closet as possible, all of the rides are very short. The lazy river is so shallow, a cockroach couldn't commit suicide in there. The wave pool has such a long time period between waves that I think I saw the same woman give birth on two seperate occasions during my one dreadful stay while waiting for the next pathetic wave to semi-bowl me over. Saying the food here is horrible is too much of a compliment. I understand that this is no Blizzard Beach, but seriously, it is of such low quality, I can't recommend that anyone spend their hard earned money here. If you are already in West Palm Beach, you might as well drive north 2 hours and spend a little bit more to go to a Disney Water Park. Trust me, it will be worth it. Rapids should be turned into an aquarium for microscopic endangered species. read more

SMALL, SMALL,SMALL, As someone who has been to bigger water parks, this place is a joke. Seems like someone bought an empty lot somewhere and crammed all the rides into it, and charged everyone an arm and a leg. You can walk the park in 10 minutes. One of the major benefits of being a large, semi-muscular gal is how fast it makes you go down a water slide. Yes, I'm old enough to be that mom who drives their kids to the water park for some slip-n-slide action, only to sit in the shade and watch them have all the fun. But I say, F*** THAT! I'm the lady pushing those little mofos out of the way so I can climb the stairs, jump on a tube and zip down those slides. I usually hit up Rapids once a year. I'm not going to lie, this place can get more crowded than a Justin Bieber concert, so I suggest playing hookie from work and hitting them up on a weekday. They don't allow outside food or drink (duh), but will offer you a stamp so you can eat outside at one of the many picnic tables and return later on. I won't say that this is the best water park I've been to, but they've certainly upgraded as of recently. They've added the body surfing ride (FlowRider), and my personal favorite, A Tiki Bar! Yes, I said Tiki Bar. For years Rapids has been dry - no booze for the adults who deserve a drink so very badly. Thankfully, someone wised up and realized how much money they were losing by not serving frosty beverages on a hot day to the adults. For an amusement venue, the drinks are surprisingly reasonable at $8 for a beer and $9-12 for a frozen or mixed drink. The only bummer is that they do not allow any drinks on the Lazy River. Ugh. So much for me parking my butt on a tub and floating round and round as the water pushes me along with my drink in hand. It's not meant to be. Now, let's be honest here - on a busy day, you will see gross stuff. The bathrooms can get gross and you will see hair extensions and bandaids floating around in the wave pool. I'm sure younger kids (maybe some adults) pee in the pool. This is just part of the water park experience. If you go expecting Club Med, you will be disappointed. For the VIP feeling, rent a cabana by the wave pool for $150 bucks and you can have a bit more privacy and a waitress to bring you drinks. If you don't care about that, there are plenty of places in the shade to pop a squat and take a load off. Be prepare to climb some serious stairs. You'll pay $40 to get in and $10 to park plus more for a locker. Watch the weather report as the rides will close with even the slightest hint of rain. I highly recommend the ride called Baby Blue (a.k.a. "the toilet bowl"). Rapids ain't just for the kiddies, folks. Have fun! read more

This water park smells really bad first of all. All the rides have rust. Not only the rides but every single nut of bolt has rust including the wood and stairs. Absolutely disgusting. When waiting in a super slow long line unnoticed a piece of poop on one of the supports where anyone can accidentally touch it. Looks as if it has been there for a month. You can tell this park is not maintained. Also overpriced. Staff is super rude especially the managers. So many better parks. They have no consideration for any circumstances. Would 100% NOT reccomend. Also I'm pretty sure a small locker only costs $12 and the lady charged me $15. read more

i love this place however it is very dirty there are random hairs attached to you at all times the lazy river is dirty with debris and the steps to all of the attractions are always filled with bandaids and weave!! It is also expensive for what you get in my oppinion you need about 100 for 2 to get in and eat, they only have junk food the chix strips are some of the best ive ever had lol the rides are really fun as long as you dont get a mouth full of hair or shit!! read more

Overall it was a great day after I got over the humiliation of being forced to step on a scale after waiting in line for over 30 minutes for a water slide. The slide will allow 4 people to go down however, no one person can weigh more than 250lbs, a total weight of no more than 700lbs per raft. I am 6.5 feet tall and self conscious of my weight and to be forced to step on a scale to ride a water slide was rude and humiliating. Than to be made to walk down all those steps alone was horrible. Once I got over that the rest of the day was fair, the lines were long and some of the staff was friendly others were so so and others were downright rude. Such as, the woman working the concession stand. We waited at least 20 minutes to place our order, when we asked for side cheese she charged us extra. When we got our food it wasn't there, we asked for it and she literally threw it in the bag. The restrooms were FILTHY and about 40% operational. My husband and my daughter were at this park the first day it opened on Mondays for the summer. My husband had a small scratch from a week before on his elbow. That night he began to complain about a pain in his elbow. By 2am he was in terrible pain and by 10am that same morning he was in our doctors office and was unable to move his entire arm! Our doctor immediately put him on two very strong antibiotics and said if it did not improve in two days he would have to be admitted into the hospital. It was extremely swollen for several days but is now much better after three weeks. There is still a bruise like pain and he will being going back to the doctor this coming Monday and will be filling a case with the West Palm Beach Health Department. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! From the moment you order your tickets, till the moment you step out of the park - it was the worst experience I have ever had. The cashiers were more concerned with flirting then the person in front of them! I was completely shocked. The cashier at the food stand, Chantal, very rudely told me to step aside to help guests behind me - mind you, my sister was trying to order her food next. After this we thought nothing of it, and carried on throughout the park. When we get to the top of black thunder, holly very loudly asked my boyfriend to step aside. She very rudely asked about his weight, making him feel extremely uncomfortable. There was a very nice audience listening in, as holly was in no way discreet about the situation. After absolutely humiliating my boyfriend, we still decided not to let this destroy our day. What do ya know, another exciting encounter!!! Just before the park closed down, my boyfriend decided to wait in line for a surfing wave. After clearly standing in line for at least 5 minutes they let another guest ride the wave twice in a row, completely disregarding my bf waiting to go next. Sean, told my bf to get out of line & the park was closed. Again, it's not what was said, but how it was executed. Sean began raising his voice at both myself and my bf, calling him a liar. ARE YOU SUPER SERIOUS?! when I say he was raising his voice, I mean loud enough to once again gather an audience. THIS IS AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not to mention the employees cat calling to the underage females. Seriously ladies and gentlemen? This is the worst experience I have EVER had. When we explained these things to the customer service front end supervisor, he was kind enough to listen and apologize on behalf. He was able to grant one refund, however not mine. This is absolutely ridiculous. Again, DREADFUL customer service. The way we were truly being mistreated, spending over 100$ was NOT even close to worth it. I haven't been here in YEARS!!!!! I have watched it change over the years and we priced it to go as a family and it is WAAAAAAAAY to expensive.... $40 per person plus you have to pay $10 for parking or $20 for VIP parking. Now I packed a bunch of snacks and water for the kids because we planned to be there all day, WELL they do not allow you to bring any food or drink inside and they check your bags at the entrance. Now you can leave your thing on covered picnic tables just outside the entrance but there is no guarantee it will be there when you go back for it!!! If you choose to eat there it ranges from $9 and up! On this particular adventure we went with the Girl Scouts and there were said to be at least 500 girls that day plus it was open to the public. When you go with a large group you can pay less.... I paid $25 per person, so check out group rates. The lines for all of the slides were waaaaay too long and a cold front passed through the previous night causing the water to be cold. As the crowds grew people started moving chairs and chase lounges and the security had to come get involved as they were blocking walkways and taking other peoples chairs. I inquired about their covered "tents" and was told $150 for 2 days.... ok the only perk is a TV to watch and the shade, there wasn't a free meal along with it not to mention we were only there for 1 day! SO I MUST SAY I will NOT pay to go back again.... I would rather take a trip to Orlando and go to Disney's Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Their prices are about the same and I've had better experiences there. read more

Well they try and swindle an pimp you when you first get here with parking. The first parking lot you see is $20 and the one right next to it is $10. Literally a few step away from each other. I will take the $10 one thank you! The lines to get in are all disorganized but what do you expect? Once you get in depending on when you go will depend on the lines. We went during the week during summer time and yes there was lots of campers but it wasn't too bad. HOWEVER, beware of the campers that run wild with no supervision, they are all brats and rude! If I heard my children speaking to me the way these kids were speaking I would flip out! Staff here is mostly teens working for the summer so that tells you that they really don't care how they treat you. When I told a worker of slide that some campers had skipped us he asked why did I let them? What was I supposed to do pull them off the slide? The bathrooms are filthy and smell and depending on where you walk some areas smell like sewer. Food here is over priced for what you get. read more
