North County District Park is a 82-acre athletic and recreation complex. It is located on 117th Court North near the city's tennis center. The sprawling park includes seven lighted multi-purpose fields, two open fields, a splash pad, nature trail and walking areas, three pavilions, two playgrounds, gravity rail and 23.6 acres of preserve. it is the largest athletic complex in the area and has more than 600 parking spots. The pristine athletic fields make this park ideal for team sports but children will also love cooling off at the splash pad and playing at the ninja styled shade covered playground. My favorite part of the park was the nature trail. I just wish it had parking closer to the entrance. The field next to trail is under construction so I am excited to see what will be added to the park next.

There are plenty of covered picnic areas as well as pavilions and a gazebo that can be rented Next to the park is a new, 4 million dollar recreation center that offers camps and community events. The Constitution Park playground was dedicated in 1996 to Christina Holt, a victim of child abuse. Christina was discovered in a shallow grave in northern Palm Beach County after being beaten and placed there by here stepfather, Walter John Zile. He was charged with first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated child abuse. There is a plaque honoring Christina in the park.

This is still a fenced in playground, surrounded by shady trees (though mostly sunny above the playground itself), with benches for parents to sit on. Sometimes I sit at a concrete picnic table just outside of the fence to work. Sitting there, it was fairly easy to see my kids at all times (unlike the previous equipment). Still love the walk around the pond. Recently, we explored the little island in the middle across the walking bridge (which could use an upgrade itself). Kids were fishing off the bridge and from the platform on the island. The water doesn't always look healthy but there are a lot of ducks.

I signed up for adult private swim lessons, paying $225 for what was supposed to be personalized instruction to improve my stroke and breathing. What I got was one unstructured session in the kiddie pool--just swimming back and forth with no technique correction, no feedback, nothing. It felt like the instructor had no idea what to do. When I brought this up, I was told the training manager would attend a future lesson to train the instructor during my session. That's not acceptable. I didn't sign up to pay for someone else's training session--I signed up for my lesson. Even worse, I found out the training manager had already been watching the original lesson and allowed it to happen that way. So how is anything going to improve? I asked to cancel and get a refund, and was told flat-out "no" due to policy--no apology, no ownership, no attempt to make things right. Also worth noting: the reception staff was rude and unwelcoming when I arrived, which set a bad tone from the start. I can't recommend this place for adult swim lessons. Between the lack of professionalism, poor instruction, and dismissive customer service, I left completely disappointed.

There's lots of open land, lots of trees, and a wealth of activity areas including a water park. When we stopped by on a rainy afternoon, there weren't many people in the park at all. Some of the many activity areas include: Half a dozen baseball fields, a couple softball fields, a few multi purpose fields, and a playground for the little ones with various structures. None of the fields were occupied when we were there. And then there are the picnic areas -- some tables with grills. And even a picnic pavilion that is good for groups. It can be rented. Plus on top of all this -- a water park.The Calypso Bay Waterpark even has its own entrance. There's an entrance fee for this seasonal park. There's a lap pool, river ride, water slide, and a water "playground". Prices to enter depend on one's age. It was closed when we dropped by. I think it reopens in March, but call for dates before you come. This water park would be perfect for swimming lessons and/or kids birthday parties. This big park must really be busy in spring/summer. And when the ball games are being played. There are a plethora of parking spaces! It seemed a bit eerie to drive by all the empty spaces the day we came.

Seminole Palms Park amenities include 6 lighted baseball fields, 2 lighted softball fields, 3 multipurpose fields, picnic pavilions and picnic tables with grills, restrooms, and playground. The park is also home to the Calypso Bay Waterpark which has an interactive water playground, lap pool, lazy river, 2 water slides, and food concession. Sports field parks are not my personal favorite kind of park but Seminole Palms is beautifully maintained and provides a great recreations resource for the many sports teams in the area. The water park looks very family friendly for anyone looking to cool down on a hot day. Come out this park to enjoy the athletic fields, picnic areas, playground, and the seasonal water park.

I have driven by this park many times, but I didn't realize it was separate from 'the parking lot…read moreof the Marinelife Center.' But, it is its own park, and it stretches from A1A Beach Road to US1! It contains: -a big parking lot that allows access to the beach across the street -a grassy area of pavilions and picnic tables -a pirate playground -the (elusive) entrance to the East side of the Juno Dunes Natural Area, which I wasn't sure actually existed. -a bathroom facility -its own nature trail This parking lot is a decent size with free parking. The pavilion of bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, especially if you are headed to the beach. The picnic tables are calling out for (kid birthday) party use, especially with the beach, playground and marinelife center all in walking distance. I came here specifically for the playground. It is shaped like a pirate ship. It has a sandy bottom. It has some swings also. It is not fenced, but it is set back from the parking lot decently and no where near the roads. I didn't get too involved with the pirate ship (because I perched at the closest bench) but my kids definitely loved it.

This place is wonderful. The staff is super involved and incredible with children. I have seen them…read morewalking around cleaning things both times I was there. I also witnessed some heartfelt interactions between the children and staff. For instance one of the staff members brought out an accordion and started to sing songs for all of the kids to sing along to. Another time I saw the same employee walking around with a bubble blower just having a blast making all of the children feel welcome and have a great time. They also have different classes each day in the back room. Would definitely recommend to any fellow parents that need to get their kid out of the house for a bit. It felt safe, clean, and my kid and I had a great time.

Wondergarden has been such a blessing in our lives. I started taking my son when he was around 16…read moremonths and he learned how to socialize, play music instruments, Montessori toys, and busy boards. He's now 2 and we still take him, he has multiple close friends around his age and the community overall has been welcoming and family centered. The owner/teacher Ms. Chloe definitely loves what she does, she's very accommodating, talented, and the kids love her. I would definitely recommend for a parent that is trying to get their baby/toddler incorporated into socializing with other babies, and for the classes as well. Even as a mom I found really good mom friends 10/10
