Literally had no idea this hidden bar was located in Stockton. Visited on a Saturday night around…read more7pm and left around 1:30am. There is a parking lot at the back of the restaurant which is where this bar is located. It's a close-knit bar, but it does get a decent amount of people inside! The drinks are delicious. I highly recommend Jalapeño Business (mezcal or tequila, cucumber, jalapeño, agave, fresh squeezed lime). SO refreshing with a chamoy tajin rim. I also enjoyed The Nightcap (vodka, bailey's, cold brew, coffee liqueur). The bartender was very friendly and made the drinks quickly! You can also order food (since it's connected to a restaurant), and we ordered gyoza and shrimp tempura which came out piping hot and were both delicious. Definitely stop by if you're looking for a chill bar to get a drink, it is a small space so just be aware your conversations can easily be heard by others. Not a problem if you're friendly though!

I was recommended by my nephew that the Dry Scallops fried rice is amazing. It did not disappoint us at all. It's definitely worth the $24.99 as the portions are huge enough for six and there was a lot of dry Scallops in every bites. The other dishes was huge as well in portions and delicious as well. Although the restaurant is not fancy nut the food is exceptionally good for it's price per portions. Will definitely try again if in Stockton.

Though, the servers were pushy, the food was delicious. We got the shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp balls, and egg custard tarts. They were all very yummy. You can either order from the dim sum menu or the regular one. But if you want both, you do need to ask for the other menu. We figured this out after we had already ordered from the dim sum menu. We also ordered two lunch specials. They were also tasty. The place is very spacious and has a lot of Chinese decor. My experience was not as enjoyable, because of the staff, though. We both felt very uncomfortable and pushed to order more food and pay tip. It was not professional or polite at all. I hope the next time I go, my visit is much more pleasant.

Very disappointing experience when we came for a friend's birthday. Looking at the pics this place appears to be a very cute speakeasy and when you enter you find that to be true. They have a few cocktails that are pretty creative like my favorite, their clarified fruity pebbles cocktail. We all got cocktails and only about 1/2 of the drinks were really appreciated. Anyway, what held them back here was definitely the food. I'll start off by saying that yes we had a light dinner of sushi prior to making our way over. So keeping that in mind, we still had the idea of getting some small bites. We didn't want to over commit so we started with what I believe was the Grilled Peach Burrata. Now if we are going purely off flavors, it wasn't bad and it was a cute pairing of ingredients for what sounded like a great bite. On first bite we found this to be a horrendous dish. At first we thought, there's no way the bread was really THAT stale and hard. We thought there's no way that it could be every single piece that was that inedible. We were sorely mistaken. When I tell you that little crostini was hard and stale I'm telling you this thing was so terribly stale that we immediately thought of how disappointed we were in coming here and that we would NEVER consider coming back again. As for the service we remember it being a tad underwhelming as well but not terrible. The only thing that in my mind keeps me from rating them a 1, and I don't do that almost ever, is that my cocktail was just my style. I'm an old fashioned kind of guy but I also love the cute, creative and sweet cocktails as well. This fruity pebbles cocktail also came topped with sort of a Rice Krispie style fruity pebbles treat that I absolutely loved. After ordering a 2nd one however I found that they are not very consistent with their drink preparations as the 2nd one just wasn't as good. The ratio of whatever they put in there just seemed off. I'll finish off by saying that I so desperately wanted this place to be good. Was it an off night? Is this just their level of execution? Who is to say. Maybe one day I'll feel inclined to give them another chance but who knows. I have also heard that they did a lot of revamping so maybe things are looking up now.
